am impressed my dads music had some effect....i'm an oldy...was 21 when fatty & george was made but it brings back a lot of memories listening to that & seeing it on facebook as well

Glad to hear from someone else who remembers the show :) The crystal/freezing time plot device has been used a lot over time (before and after this show) but this was the first time I saw it used...

I spent years and years and years trying to find just the name of this show that I'd watched as a kid. As soon as I did, up pops this link, and *that* theme tune. Thanks for sharing - probably the closest I'll ever get to seeing this again. I would've become a Dr Who fan around the time I saw this. Boy, the ABC was good back then. *nostalgic sigh*

I used to watch this, and thought i'd look for it on the off chance \i found it. The theme tune comes into my head from time to time for no apparent reason.
