  • Is anyone else listening to this while playing chess? Lol

  • ty

  • download worked perfectly:) thanks alot!

  • Hey I'm writing a book series and I need two composers. I already asked Jon Brooks, and you sound really good too so can compose for me too?

    Message me your awnser

  • The site is in German & it r e quires you to download bittorrent or a torrent program to download the song. f y i. use google chrome or a page translator to translate the page if you can not re ad it. would have been nice if the uploader mentioned that in the description

  • @DeadFrontierZN2012 I'm sorry to hear that. But there are some things I want to make clear:

First you don't need chrome for any translations. There is a flag on the top right corner of that site where you can select your desired language.

There is no need to have a torrent client if you want to download the single tracks. If you want to download a complete album then you need a torrent client to do so.

I changed the link and it should lead you to the english page immediately. Thanks

  • @mdtmusic

Thanks! I see the flag now. And yes I did try to download the album at 1st. But my bit torrent is on my other pc. Thanks for the reply & thanks for sharing. I am a huge f an of using epic music in my videos & my ipod has like 12 gb of all epic music. It is just too epic to not have=D Thanks friend

  • @DeadFrontierZN2012 You're welcome :) There is more music like this on my channel so feel free to explore ;)

  • There are few songs that give me that chill growing feeling inside and make me imagine epic battles and wars, revolutions, uprisings, intense scenes, last hopes, hero and evil. Your song does that. Great Job!

  • i was looking for a good battle song for a school project and none of them worked, intill i found this one it worked great

i even got an A on my project

    this rocks

ps how did you make it

  • @hat12071997 Oh nice :) Thank you. I composed this with Cubase and some orchestral libraries.

  • @hat12071997 did you pay SABAM rights to mdtmusic?

  • @Inflamsx why should he? This music is under the creative common licence and therefore free to use for non-commercial projects.

  • @mdtmusic fiieeuw, that sooths me, I used it for my intro at "Asian Cocksuck whores in bangkok Vol 5.".

  • wow v beautiful music i like it v much

  • @royal6143 Thank you :)

  • wow v beautiful music i like it v much

  • could you make one for a villian instead of a hero?

  • @kingdomheartsruler22 well this piece includes both because it's a battle music. Maybe you should check out my other videos. there are some more dark toned pieces to be found there.

  • @kingdomheartsruler22 not sure what you mean. usually battles are between good an evil ;)

  • @mdtmusic He's not speaking of battle music. He's speaking of theme music. A hero might have theme music similar to this while a villain might have a darker feel to it. Darth Vader for example. You seem talented enough for it, I have no doubt. Either way, just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

  • Insanely epic

    name makes perfect sense

  • @StudioPlanez Thanks :)

  • @StudioPlanez thanks :)

  • This is GREAT!

  • Wow, this makes me want to use this in a lightsaber battle... This music is pretty intense.. Hope you make more!! Subed...

  • @1DeathEater Thank you :) Well I made some more like this and can be found on my channel ;)

  • @1DeathEater Thank you :) Well there is more already on my channel ;)

  • Wow, how did you make this? Are these real players or a VST of some sort?

  • @InTACTProduction Thanks. Those are all VST. The main orchestra samples are from East West Symphonic Orchestra.

  • @InTACTProduction Thanks. Those are all VST. The main orchestra samples are from East West Symphonic Orchestra.

  • @mdtmusic Oh ok. man i keep hearing about that i need to get it. What did you mix and master it on? And what kind of soundcard do you have? Like how did you make it sound so thick crisp and authentic sounding....or does East West Orchestra just sound like that

  • @InTACTProduction I'm using Cubase 4. Most of the east west stuff sounds pretty nice out of the box but I like to tweak it a bit with eq, limiters, etc.

  • @mdtmusic oh ok. and what sound card do you have?

  • @InTACTProduction sorry I totally forgot to answer on this. It's a Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro

  • @mdtmusic Oh ok. man i keep hearing about that i need to get it. What did you mix and master it on? And what kind of soundcard do you have? Like how did you make it sound so thick crisp and authentic sounding....or does East West Orchestra just sound like that

  • Hey can I use it for a video??????

  • @BassMasta0 Sure thing. As long as its based on a non commercial basis and if you name me or my channel feel free to use it :)

  • this is such a great soundtrack!!! wow...just amazing! Hey can I have permission to use this for a football documentary I'm in the process of editing? If u can, could u upload or send me a better quality mp3 of this soundteack and we'll surely credit you when it comes out...thanks

  • @2010yearofLP Thanks :) Well as long as it is a non profit documentary feel free to use it. You can download this track here: w w w . jamendo.com/de/album/56298

  • Dude I loved your song, it was very well made. You should keep on making songs, you have skill and talent for it! =)

  • @dahmchello Thank you :)

  • Dude your song was very organzied and well played out. It was really enjoyable to listen to this song. Great job, keep it up and make more songs! =)

  • what program did you use? if you used a program.

  • @mysticphroah I'm using Cubase combined with the EWQL Symphonic Orchestra library.

  • @mdtmusic Is it easy to use for begginers? if not can you tell me what program would be good to use? I am planning to create a piece but I am a complete begginner :)

  • @Mintymadam Well it is I would say. It depends on what kind of a beginner you are. If you haven't worked with midi or a sequencer before you sure need to read a lot in the beginning. I started with a software called "Reason" to learn some basic. It contains quite a lot of instruments to use too.

  • Wow ! I first thought this was a original soundtrack of the Game "Lost Planet 2". I played this game and there is a soundtrack which almost sound same !. really good work

  • ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz....

    /weak

  • wow... I love this kind of music...

    THUMBS UP TO U

  • WOW

    WHOA

    EPIC

    PERFECT BATTLE MUSIC

    Ohhh yeah!!

  • You just got your 100th like from me! Congrats, and awesome music!

  • @BenHughesStudios Thank you :)

  • Could I download this onto my computer and use it for one of my videos and to the person that disliked this you are a prick! Kudos to mdtmusic :)

  • @5ti01qs Feel free to do so. It would be nice to give me some credit in return in mentioning my channel for example ;) Thanks

  • Alright, this was incredible. Seriously, this is a work of art, I'll hope to see more of this.

    Best regards,

    Jannis

  • @Jannisberg Thank you :) Well actually there is more of this on my channel ;)

  • @mdtmusic : Yeah I saw it, really impressive! :) This actually saved my day last night. This music is so inspiring.

    Best regards,

    Jannis

  • ahh..

    very nice!!

    awesome!!

cant explain it..after i heard it, it always made a flshbck to my mind..i mean..aahhh..

    SO GREAT.(((=

  • oh hey...one retard missed the like button and pressed dislike.

    shame shame.

  • My jaw is on the floor. What great talents are here on YT!!! It is a Hans Zimmer quality work! 5* Totally professional and well composed, built up. This is MUSIC. ART and WORTH.

Can I say more than: fave?

    Yes: THANK for the JOY.

  • @GBWagner1 Oh well...thank you so much for your nice comment :)

  • I love the mixture of sounds. Like around 3:40 where there is an underlying melody in some of the strings that is almost joyful, and on top of it there is a much darker tone being played. It's kind of like the hero stands up, and the final battle begins. The for the last minute or so it slowly comes to a resolve, with more joyous melodies and tones. Well done. :)

  • @spartin3001 Thanks :) So nice to hear someone recognizez that special part. I had the same thoughts in my mind while writing it.

  • @mdtmusic It comes from the love for music. :) In fact I have often listened to this while writing or brainstorming about an epic battle, and I always here that one part and know exactly what needs to happen there. I only wish I was any good at writing music. Keep up the good work.

  • Very nice :)

  • have a listen to my original film scores and trailers

  • unbelievable music, well done. i enjoyed this

  • @Mulinlor Thank you :)

  • @mdtmusic when i write my book, i often listen to this piece along with setting sails- another one of your great pieces. it allows me to picture events and increases my imagination. thank you

  • @mdtmusic if i could ask, maybe you dont want to give away your art for free but think about it first, would you upload your music onto beemp3.com therefor i can download it and have it for travelling?

  • @Mulinlor You can download this and other tracks von Jamendo:

Just go to Jamendo[dot]com and add /en/album/56298

  • mdt bro you make some legit stuff i was wondering if u could make an intro for my band to play live before we walk on stage ? i would love to work with you!

  • Whats the title of this piece, does anyone know?

  • well I supposed it's "epic battle" ;)

  • @HawaiiNinja video2mp3(DOT)net

  • I'm in drama and we're doing Cyrano de

Bergerac. There's a huge battle scene and we need underscoring music. I was

wondering if we could use this.

  • I have no problem with that as long as it stays non commercial ;)

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • if you could, send me the downloading link plz?

  • i enjoy this kind of music.. i've always liked to listen to music like this when i do homework, clean, or just sit around reading.. but yes this is a great peice .. keep up the good work

  • what was the chord progression that you used? ive been trying to figure out some epic progressions, but i cant think outside the box

  • It's a 7 minute long piece of music so I don't know which part of it you mean exactly. But for the chords in general there is no real standard solution for the sound I think. Try to experience a bit with half tone steps...they do the magic in most cases.

  • Hey skaterpunk.. you dont need to think outside the box.. just build tension.. which means establish your tonic chord and then stay away from it for a while.. come back and build some more tension..

  • very nice 5 stars

  • any stuff on itunes?

  • You won't find me on itunes I think. But I will think about it.

  • dont put your stff on iTunes....you wont make any money in doing it...my band sold over 2000 copies of our CDs and only got 200$ out of it...

  • @KennethXEcker Thats because your retarded... if the cds cost 10dollars add another dollar to them so they are 11... so you would get 2000dollars...

  • Any downloading links??

    O.O

  • amazing.

  • what other stuff have you done? CDs?

  • Do you or have you ever considered composing for video games or movies?

  • Well actually I did score some movies and shortfilms. The "problem" is that I can't show those movies here on YT most of the time because I only own the rights on the music and not the movie itself.

  • post the song itself then :D

  • Well that's what I do ;)

  • holy freaking crap! this is perfect!!!!

  • thank you :)

  • Amazing song. Great work. The percussion is awesome. I can't say enough good things about this. I can't really think of anything you could improve on. It's just so good. At 3:46 it sound very Chronicles of Narnia-ish.

  • really nice work... the sections blend really well... nice contrasting sections like listening to a story... great job with the percussion also... very cool man..

  • Thank you :)

  • I can only say that was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

  • You should sell this to Square Enix, for real.

    Good job.

  • really good, but i wouldn't call this battle music. It seems like more of an adventure kind of music then and epic battle XD

  • 0:32.

I already love it. I use music like this to inspire me when I write. This one will get it done.

  • Awesome job mdtmusic. This kind of music really gets the blood pumping. Now I'm off to punch a stranger in the face ... ;)

  • choir at the end is epic, no more than epic.

  • do you mind if i use this in a movie i make? you WILL be in the credits, ohh and what about a video game i make also?

  • the voice was right u r good

  • Wow!! Amazing!! How did you make this?

  • I used cubase combined with an orchestra library...ah and I also used my head ^^

  • Cool, thanks!

  • First of all, i really liked the sound and spheres. It touched me.

If I may ask; What orchestral library did you used?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Thanks. I used the "Symphonic Ochestra" library for this one by East West (EWQL SO).

  • nice

  • Cuando vendas un Disco yo lo quiero comprar. Me gusta tu sencibilidad.

  • Amazing song!!! Excellent job, I hope you do another one. If you add a choir in it gives it an 'epic' feeling to it. Good job.

  • @HandOfHeaven9 Thanks. There a more works like this on my channel ;)

  • Maaan, that was awsome!!! Epic-tastic!

  • Very well done. I particularly enjoy the percussion. May I ask what (if any) artist inspired you?

  • Your becoming a favorite of mine. I'd love to see this in a movie. 5 stars sir.

  • What kind of Movie would fit this music?

Becuase I'm trying to get this kind of music into one of them, but to what genre.

  • Well when I wrote this piece I had warriors on horses in my mind...maybe that helps ;)

  • From the future or past, or present? Soundtracks will be an important part of films to come, in my areas.

  • I would say it was more about a tale or saga than an actual time period but if you like to hear where i put these things it would be the past.

  • Would you mind me using this game in my new Game? if yes then please PM me the Download Link :D

  • Amazing music! Sehr gut!

  • nice job, nice crecendos

  • Thanks :) It's nice to hear someone recognized the time I spend on the percussions on this track :) Thank you.

  • I really like this. I especially like the percussion.
