  • WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WHY

  • Do you have a recipe video making a whole wheat version?

  • Check out my pita video, my mom is from Syria so she makes it the actual way and it's really good....but no intentions of giving away the recipe ;)

  • GOOD WORK MARIA!!!!

  • do you have a recipe for making a wheat version ?

  • needs higher temperature to get the best quality,

    not bad.

  • They looked really great! Are you greek? Ty for the video.

  • oh, i love the way you cook...its like im there in ur kitchen with you...the way u roll ur pita roti, oh u r perfect mom frame....love you........i like you.....

  • Thanks...these were sooo good!!!

And seriously, guys, it's HER electric bill. And how do you know that she isn't recyling the aluminum?!

  • I really wanted to watch your video But I am sorry I can not stand your voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i MADE THESE AND THEY ARE GREAT EXCEPT I MADE 5 AT A TIME AND THEY PUFFED UP LIKE A CHAMP. SO EASY. I ALSO TRIED HEATING A CAST IRON SKILLET AND COOKED A FEW I GOT THE SAME EFFECT, BOTH WERE GOOD. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS

  • Glorious!!

  • you must up the heat in your oven

    to make good pita

and make the sheet rest 10 mints to be like ball

  • mmm those are some big ass titties

  • 5-8 minutes on how high?

  • when has plopping everything into a bowl and using a machine2 do the work become cooking?....try using a caste iron skillet placed upside down over the stove flame. it works much better w/higher heat. lol that end result was TOTALLY bought v_?

  • sorry but your pita didnt inflat. it sould inflate like a baloon

  • Interesting... all her pita breads come so goofed up and dry like plastic plates, but in the end of the video I see something that comes out when I or other normal cooks would bake. And would not eat a pita wraped in foil that was on the floor... yuk

  • whatever...

  • I just love this video.Thank you:) I'm in the middle of my second batch.

  • at the end you show store bought pita...thats funny

  • lol its funny like how in the middle ur pita looks all wrinkly and then at the end you show 3 or 4 pieces of pita bread that are perfectly shaped and cooked! ur a magician

  • im making these today for my spinache triangles! Ive been trying so many doughs ans NONE were right.. Will try your way step by step & let you know how it goes!

  • sorry but this is not how to make a pita. You need to let the dough to rise to double (2 hours). and then knead the dough again and let it again rise for 45 mintus. then knead. roll the dough on the table with flower. 1-1.5 Cm thickness. put the oven for 225 degrees(Celcius) and let it baked until it's rise and light brown.

    Success everybody

  • you should make a video

  • those pitas look hard. how do you wrap a shawarma with that?

  • she can use em as plates>>haha

  • why do you only bake one at a time? I make pitas alot and bake about 10 at a time, you waste energy and allum. foil

  • that was some rock hard pita bread

  • I'll try this recipe but I'll def. be more conscious about the environment... too much wasted foil... makes me sad =(

  • @sreed2005 The best way to save the environment is if we all killed ourselves.

  • You use too much tin foil!

  • marellous-keep the good work.thanks for the nice work

  • Thanks this was very helpful. It looks very easy. I am going to try buckwheat flour.

  • Nice kitchen, bad video. For one, she didn't mention the flour she used (but it was probably all-purpose). Not many viewers actually have a stand up mixer - she should have shown a hand-kneading method. There was a loudly barking dog - which is not good when taping a video. And why did she use several sheets of tin foil when she could have used a baking sheet? And the pitas in the last shot look store-bought; nothing like the ones she took from the oven.

  • very interesting. nice vid!

  • Nice Video! Thank you..

    Nice kitchen as well..

I am just wondering why you didn't let it 2 hours to let that yeast work out a bit. Did you intent to make it that way?

    Thanks again,

  • if she let it rise , it will be like a pizza dough

  • i am so tired of pita pit being so good, expensive, and not filling!!!! it's time to learn how to make pitas... the only thing i didn't understand is how do you split the pita in half so you can stuff it.

  • nice kitchen, thanks for the video.

  • Awesome video thanks for sharing it!

  • Cut it open, put some lamb or beef or chicken shoarma with some iceberg lettuce, unions maybe even some fetta and top it off with some red union sauce or garlic sauce or some tzaziki(cuecomber yoghurt sauce). Or just bbq some spicey chicken filet, cut into strips put it in the pita with some greens and tomatoes. Sauce of your choice :) In holland they have the strangest recipe to put cheese with jam in it LOL :) I love you video's quick, easy and good to follow :)

  • I tried this recipe and it turned out SO dry. Everything crumbled apart before I hit 2 cups of flour. Not the chefs problem at all it was probably just dry in the house. Next time I will add a less flour, or more water. Otherwise easy recipe and easy to follow :)

  • You may also try sprinkling some water on pitas just before putting them into the oven. It'll prevent their drying up during baking.

  • i will try this...

  • could you use this dough for pizza too?

  • Yes but she doesn't mention the type of flour used. For pizza dough you want to use bread flour and some duram/semolina for a crisp crust and strong chew.

  • this is the best recipe i have ever had, it was perfect...

  • Thank you soooo much, i love your recipes.

  • awesome video - nice and clear instructions - have been wanting to learn how to do this forever -- missing good greek food from our last visit to Athens.. now i'm hungry....LOL!!

  • Yes, Thank you again! I will definitely try these in the near future. If you have time, I too would be interested in the rest of this pita dish. The look of that first pita from the oven just had us hailing in Maria land...

  • gloriously !

  • the finish up part is missing :( good though

  • i'm so sorry, what part is missing? I had to edit down a longer whole Greek dinner video (too long) let me know and I will add it in

  • I think hulda is talking about around 6:15 where its just cuts away but i see what you are saying, you were going on to another part of this dish werent you? anyway i would also like to know if more of this Greek dinner is coming, because i love your videos =)
