  • Oberman is hopelessly misguided.

  • people should really listen to olbermann.

  • Maybe he has bad ratings because he doesn't speak the truth?

  • If I was gay I'd be all over Olbermann. The guy is a stud. A true American that speaks the truth and stands up to tyranny.

  • I thank my lucky charms I was born in Canada, this is all beginning to sound like the movie 1984...

  • Canada...hmm let's see... you've never provided the world with any political or intellectual ideas; you have lower environmental standards than the US and for generations you avoid frankly and openly criticizing your own foreign and domestic policy by criticizing the Americans instead... and you think the world likes you when it doesn't really give a fuck about you.

  • The root of Islamic discontent is clearly the Israeli/palestine conflict (precipitated, in part, by the holocaust). It is a little mentioned fact that Israel is the initial and continuing aggressor. Bush identifies with Israel as an ally and this prompts references to Hitler and the Nazis. He does not realise he is inflaming the issue. America must get rid of this fool.

  • finally a news agency is providing at least a semi-pundit for the demographic of us folks who don't buy Fox News propaganda. I hope this is only the beginning and that we'll soon have people like Amy Goodman having their own shows! Right-wing propagandists dominate commentary in both radio and tv. and as for normal news shows, in the rare cases that they do actively pursue the truth, these right-wing pundits call it "liberal bias" in chorus!

  • Interesting that in "the Land of the Free" that people want to shut Olbermann up....

Keith you are brave and blessed for taking a stand!

  • Olbermann for President!!

  • i second that

  • thx for the truth keith

  • Olbermann is the man!!!

  • I don't like Reublicans because they avoid the issue and focus on the person rather than the message, and have used terrorism to push their agenda. It's been done in other democracies, just not as blatantly.

I don't like Democrats because their afraid to point that out. In general, their a bunch of pussies. And that's why I like Keith. I think he's the first step towards reviving debate on the issues.

  • Olbermann needs ratings

  • Bush more or less demanded absolute obedience and support. That's wrong, and there should not be any debate. You can criticise the messenger, but the message is what you should address.

  • Bush has never demanded absolute obedience just as he is not Hitler, another misconception held by the Democratic Underground, Keith Olbermann, and Daily Kos demographic. As for what I should address, if dissent is offered in a respectful manner (KO refers to the President always as "Mr. Bush" along with smearing him), then I'll be inclined to respond to such a substantive opinion.

  • One more thing and I'm done. Keith appears biased BECAUSE HE IS BIASED. Cheers

  • And it's about time there's someone like him speaking from the opposing side, as there's certainly enough of them on the right. I don't approve of "The ends justify the means" philosophy, but sometimes you fight fire with fire.

Democrats wouldn't think of voting republican. Republicans wouldn't think of voting democratic. To me, that's the real problem with America.

  • You think a real conservative would agree to be interviewed? Most conservatives would decline and state that they "Can't trust him to be unbiased".

Again, Keith is voicing legitimate concerns that have nothing to do with political affiliation. When Clinton was in office the media was freaking out about oral sex. Now with Bush there's tangible evidence of fear mongering, and you call political bias because it's against your chosen representative. Look at the issues, not the party.

  • Ah, so am I to extrapolate from your comments that Keith wants to have conservatives on his program, but the reason they aren't on is because ALL of those invited refuse to appear? Are you really sure about that? As for your comment about this having nothing to do with politics, when a supposed "journalist's" rants are almost exclusively aimed at members of one side of the political spectrum, and when he is a sycophant of the other side, it most assuredly IS all about politics.

  • KO is far less forgiving than Jon Stewart is. Jon works hard to not appear biased, so that his message can be accepted by larger audience. So that republicans will actually appear on his show.

I'm no more sure that invitations were declined than you are that they were never sent. I'm sure neo-cons are as afraid to be interviewed by Kieth as they are to air the unedited Clinton interview again.

  • Ah, so the reason conservatives never seem to appear on Keith's show is not because he has banned them, it is because he invites them to appear, but they refuse. Every last one of them refuses to appear. They somehow muster the courage to appear on Maher's show (who has the nastiest audience toward conservatives on TV) , on Jon Stewart's show, and Colbert's show, but ALL refuse to appear on Kooky Keith's progam. Do you really believe that?

  • I didn't say that this wasn't about politics. I said that he was criticising the administration for theif failings, not for the party they belong to. This administration has made some of the largest mistakes in American history, and take no responsibility for what they have done.

Defending or attacking the government soley based on what party they belong to is ridiculous. To me, it seems you are defending Bush simply because you think that it's an attack on republicans.

  • The last two comments I made are redundant because they did not show up on screen until I just went to the "all comments" area. Apparently this is a new youtube attribute.

  • Anyway, I don't think conservatives are the least bit leery about showing the clinton interview in it's entirety, because frankly he comes off as an arrogant narcissist (his true nature) in the interview. Also, the notion that Jon Stewart works hard not to be biased is patently false. He's a liberal, and his audience is predominantly liberal. He's far more respectable than KO however, in that he recognizes other points of view.

  • They are, and they have been. We're you attempting to view the unedited clinton interview on Monday or Tuesday on Youtube? They were being taken down at Foxes demand.

If the interview truly showed Clinton in such a negative light then why try to stop the distribution of the video? Foxes actions speak for themselves.

Clinton was animated and passionate, but not "Furious" or "combative" as they attempted to spin it.

  • Defending Bush is not my purpose per se. It is criticizing Keith Olbermann. I think his has the most bizarre and classless news program on TV. As far as Keith not having an incendiary hatred for all things not liberal in general, about such I subject I could speak endlessly. For the lowdown on Keith, go to www(dot)olbermannwatch(dot)com.

  • Compared to Rush, Bill-o, and *shudder* Coulter, KO is very grounded and calm. From the video's that I've seen he hasn't said anything that I haven't thought myself (Past month or so).

I visited the site you gave. I read what I could, and it's heavily, heavily biased. Keith appears very biased because the topics and perspectives he takes are not followed by any other news network, which he and I claim are propaganda machines (Fox news).

  • Bill O'Reilly is far more fair and professional than Krazy Keith, a man who is anything but grounded and calm. Just last night Bill interviewed Paul Begala and James Carville at the same time! They both said they appreciated being invited on, and were allowed to have their say. Imagine KO inviting two Republican strategists at the same time. It would never happen, because he is an instrument of the far left. Also, he doesn't have the debating skills to deal with it.

  • Ah, so the reason why conservatives never appear on Keith's program isn't because of a "liberal's only" policy, it's because all of the conservatives that Keith has invited to appear decline the invitation. Every single one of them.

  • We've been over that. Let's not repeat ourselves regarding KO's guests. You assume that he never invites republicans, and I assume that the ones he might have invited declined. Neither possibility is more likely than the other.

  • I explain this in a previous post. My comments didn't initially appear on screen and I thought I had to repeat them. One final thought on the issue of does he or doesn't offer the other side a chance at rebuttal. If all the Republicans that Keith invites on his program refuse to go on, don't you think that Keith would be bragging about it?

  • If you don't think that's the case, keep track of the guests Keith invites on his program. The day Keith invites a real conservative on the show is the day he stops using tan in a can.

  • Keith's fans (all 300 of them) love to compare him to Edward R. Murrow. Olbermann, with the kind of tackiness only he could muster, encourages this outrageous comparison by using Murrow's sign-off line. But that farewell well at the end of his "news program" is where the similiarity ends. Edward R. Murrow didn't cower in fear of interviewing people with whom he disagreed, and didn't have a policy of excluding half of the political spectrum from his program as Krazy Keith does.

  • Kieth voices a lot of concerns with the current government. All of them are very logical concerns that most of the W O R L D agrees with and yet hasn't been brought up on any other news network, since the others are propaganda machines serving republican wishes.

Reggie, why don't you address any of the issues that Keith has mentioned?

Keith is questioning the government, why don't you? It's not a matter of Democrat vs Republican, you just see it that way.

  • Say what you will, but prove that Keith is LYING, and you neo-cons may have a point.(crickets chirp) That's what I thought.

  • who is this clown? espn?

  • Steven, drinking the Kool-Aid much? Wow.

Hey, look down below. I think you dropped one of your talking points.

  • Olbermann doesn't "spank" anything or anyone except his own monkey. He's so far beneath the President and the Secretary of Defense that he's unworthy to tie their shoes. Screw Olbermann and his faux self-righteousness. And, yes, al-Qaeda is a dangerous, nazi-like fascist group.

  • Actually, aq-laeda isnt nazi-like whatsoever; please justify

  • At least he dosen't want to spank with a falafel.

  • You bear the resemblance of a ewe.

  • Video, that actually made me laugh. If I am going to be insulted, at least you did it with some panache. Touche. That was so bah-bah-ah-ah-aaad.

  • If I were to say the sky is blue, the north pole is brisk, or aerobic life breathes oxygen, I would not expect to elicit insult as such factual commonality is sagacious, I would not expect the

  • If I were to say, the sky is blue, the North Pole is brick, or that anaerobic life breathes oxygen, I would not expect to elicit insult; as such factual commonality is sagacious. Such is the case when I call you a female sheep; a phrenic pathology is evident from your lack of idiosyncratic reasoning.

  • And now you bear the resemblance of an ass. Wow, I can hear your Thesaurus pages rustling all the way over here, LOL. But, I still like you.

  • A thesaurus is one of the few books I don't have, so once again your stance is rendered fallacious. Try reading a book, it tends to induce rationally sound thought.

  • I'll do my best to simplify my comments from here on in.

  • Oh, my, why thank you ever so much, Mr. V! My poor little old cranium was just a-achin' with all them pesky thoughts and such just a buzzing around like a whole hive full of caffienated bees.

Seriously, you're the first funny liberal I've met here on YouTube. Please, please don't go.

  • I'm not liberal, you just seem to think that because I rip on petty ration that causes simplistic thinking in our modern world. This happens to make me think that humanity is going nowhere. It just so happens that your comments are of simplistic thinking, and since you do attack Olberman (in such a manner) it makes your intellectual capacities obvious.

  • I see; someone who attacks Olbermann is stupid? Unfortunately, YouTube offers us precious little space to give lengthy answers. I dislike Olbermann because he is filled with blind and seething rage which drives his agenda on a nightly basis. Every syllable he utters is calculated; he has no credibility. He does what he accuses O'Reilly of doing. He is a smarmy hypocrite.

  • "Phrenic pathology is evident from your lack of idiosyncratic reasoning." Your capacity to juxtapose O'Reilly and Olbermann is as assuaged Ted Haggard's ability to justify creationism over evolution. Your problem is Olbermann uses words that are to big for you when he talks, and those words make you feel insecure. Learn to think, or kill yourself to rid the genetic pool of your sheep genes.

  • LOL, my verbose friend, you just put the "rant" in "intoleRANT."

  • Despite what your beer swilling inbred audience thinks, a witty remark is short work to boulstered argumentation. You need to do the country a favor, and win a Darwin Award.

  • Poor Vid, you are starting to remind me of Al Franken, who went from a funny genius to grumpy asshole in a startlingly short space of time. Now, you not only insult me, but every reader on this site by calling them names, and you have now twice encouraged me to die. Good to see that you're so broad-minded and tolerant of dissent. Or, maybe you're just a hypocritical fascist?

  • Your capacity to oversimplify sadly grants you merit in the minds of those who are not able to understand any dynamic. You strike me as a person who watches entirely too much TV; sound bytes are definitely a standard you strive to present. However, I am quite amused that you have pled to the liberal standard of universal acceptance to rebuke me. I seem to have accomplished my main goal. Oh before I forget, and I still do encourage you to take mercy on the future of our species. ;)

  • Ah, Vid, see, you seem stuck in the box, unable to free your mind of labels and stereotypes. Some liberals are incredibly intolerant (et tu, Video?) and some conservatives are surprisingly broad-minded. As for TV, I don't watch that much, but I do find it hilarious that on a site called "YouTube" you would critique someone else's viewing habits. At long last, sir, have you no sense of irony?

  • Addresse-moi avec vous! Ne pas feindre la connaissance que vous n'avez pas. I joined up with youtube so as to confront airheads (comme toi peut-être). It's amusing and allows a break from school. Brush up on your Latin, my name is not "video," you're only showing your ignorance by saying that.

You still keep calling me a liberal, even though what you are attacking are my more conservative stances. Refresh my memory, what is that called? (hint... Ironic)

  • Ahblay, ahblay, ahblay! Ogay uckfay ourselfyay. Oodgay Ightnay!

P.S. Video! Video! Video! Your fucking name isn't videorprologic, unless your parents were really odd. I believe you meant to say that your YouTube alias is "videorprologic." Umbdassay!

  • A fortiori, I am enjoying kicking your pompous little ass.

You're my bitch, you do know that don't you?

  • Sucks for you that his blind and seething rage is right on the money....sounds like someone has some "blind and seething rage of his own"

  • Sucks for you that if you say "dyoung" really fast, it sounds like DUNG.

Wanna play too? I don't have too much blind rage, but I am having some good fun with you and your mentor Viddy.

  • You have completely lost the ability to think. What are you a two-year-old? I'm really not surprised.

  • not my mentor, by the way dyoung is the first letter of my first name and my last name together...email purposes you see....sorry don't have enough time to make up "cool" little names for myself... and yes, take out the y out and it does sound like "dung" ...just like yours sounds like dipshit..

  • Stevey allen yokey loves cock...so don't get to bent out of shape about what he spouts out! i't mostly cum filled!

  • Gopj, you have me confused with your daddy.

  • hes my hero.

  • here here.

  • Thanks, Keith. Edward R. Murrow would be so fucking proud. :D

  • No. He does not.
