After getting deeply into the Eastern Spirituality Movement and meditating for years I have finally concluded its all bs. Read the book "Stripping the Gurus" its about how all these spiritual leaders are all a bunch of sexual predators, liars, fraudsters and perverts not only that but there is a huge amount of people who get psychotic breaks from meditation. You would think if 'enlightenment' existed there would be a couple people who don't have rap sheets a mile long.

Barry Long probably wouldn't even care, because HE was a real enlightened master. 'HIS' teaching IS the teaching of Barry Long, already passed away, he spent all his life organising these teachings (how to defeat the painful body, the power of now, etc...). Tolle CANNOT say that one day he woke up and he was healed out of nowhere. Is the presence and the method of Long.This is a big lack of GRATITUDE with his blessed teacher, and a terrible lack of honesty!!!!Barry Long never got milliardaire with his little book, "Only fear dies". We see CREATION for what it really is, and for what it can do. It doesn't have a penis, or a vagina. It doesn't express and experience emotions like a human being. @onesweetguy Christ is the second person of the Trinity, Father,Son,Holy Spirit. Not three Gods, not a three headed God but one God in three. Jesus is fully God and fully man since He became a man to pay for the sin we incured, the sin we can never pay for ourselves. God is love, but He also is a God of judgment,wrath,justice etc. He will judge sin, He will punish sin.
Actually He did create things perfect, but He also allowed man to choose, man (Adam/Eve) chose sin.

Many Religious leaders do this. The POPE does this. Our Religions are already collaborating, sharing ideas, basically re writing history because there is so much more to Religions than you could possibly know. As a Christian I need to read the scripure in the bible. Where Jesus said unless you repent you will perish. He said there is a broad road and a narrow road, the broad road leads to destuction(thats all the ways that say you can get to heaven and be saved apart from Christ) the narrow road is Christ, deny yourself take up your cross and follow Me, there are many more verses. He said you must be born again, that's only through Christ.
Jesus did say, "I Am the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." according to popular belief. Now who do who refer to when you use the words I or me?
Saying "YES" to life also imples a heartfelt "NO!!!". He speaks of non-dualism, and it's all "one" etc. Sorry dude, the human mind is holographic. It will inevitably lead to recollections of the past and speculations on the "future". Millenia of hunting, gathering, crop farming etc have probably encoded our DNA with "future", or harvest time.
In A New Earth, Tolle regards history as basically a testament to insanity, madness. There's division number 2. It was humans doing what humans do, sometimes "rational", sometimes not. Yet Tolle is basically an "advaitist" or "non-dualist" so his moral relativism as what is "sane" or not is just further division. Basically, Tolle's philosophy is ideal for the gulag.
Alan Watts was writing about the "now" in the 1960's. Watts wrote with far greater eloquence as well. Ok, so I'm not my "mind". I'm not my flatulence or indigestion either. Farts arise, like thoughts....deal with it. To me, Tolle creates further division. He speaks of the aura of stillness that surrounds all of nature, and there's division number 1. Humans ARE nature, and there is certainly an aura of stillness that surrounds a black widow spiders victim.

Eckhart Tolle has improved the lives of vast multitudes of people. The Egoic Mind is pathological suffering. The Egoic Mind has no self-awareness and is like a Negative Computer System, endlessly and intensively repeating every few seconds, all day long and for many only sleep brings any Inner Peace from the Egoic Unconsciousness. The Collective Egoic Mind is Satanic Consciousness as it is a barrier to the True Self simply existing everyday without sabotage in Spaciousness and Nowness.
This guy is really fortunate that he had a psychic split, before he killed himself. I believe God intervened, because he was genuine. What he calls the consciousness behind the thoughts is The Spirit ...there IS a name for it.
There's nothing new about this teaching. Tolle's teachings are very NEW AGE! YES PEOPLE! NEW AGE. This is not a joke nor is it something that is not researchable. So research it. He's a new ager and if you follow his teachings then you are buying into the biggest lie out there. I agree with him that the secret of his books' popularity is the widespread readiness of humanity to awaken. We're in a growth spurt. The Golden Age is emerging.
We cannot blame the various religious groups for building power structures around Christ's words. Christ taught the world of enlightenment at a time when the collective human conscious was not ready. He was but one of many enlightened men and women thoughout history who can guide us on our own paths of enlightenment. If someone is not ready to awaken, that is their journey. Joseph, I hope someday you see the truth in Christ's words, and not just what humans have turned Christ's words into.

Or from what other extraterrestrial races call it, such as Creation or the Is-ness, because it's just a force that's there, it is the Prime Creator of our Universe. Read the book "Stripping the Gurus" its about how all these spiritual leaders are all a bunch of sexual predators, liars, fraudsters and perverts not only that but there is a huge amount of people who get psychotic breaks from meditation. Why would he be the Son of God and not just the "GOD" The loving, almighty "GOD" who created this Universe and everything in it, that must include circumstances, places, times and events that occur in this Universe. @onesweetguy Christ is the second person of the Trinity, Father,Son,Holy Spirit. Not three Gods, not a three headed God but one God in three. Jesus is fully God and fully man since He became a man to pay for the sin we incured, the sin we can never pay for ourselves. God is love, but He also is a God of judgment,wrath,justice etc. He will judge sin, He will punish sin.
Actually He did create things perfect, but He also allowed man to choose, man (Adam/Eve) chose sin.

To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction to WHICH YOU MUST DEAL WITH IT. The wide gate is all beliefs,religions etc...man centered and based on man's accomplishments, it leads to destruction. The narrow road is divine accomplishment, it's all of God, all what He did by His grace and the death of His Son, the only One who can pay for your sin.

Alan Watts was writing about the "now" in the 1960's. Watts wrote with far greater eloquence as well. Ok, so I'm not my "mind". I'm not my flatulence or indigestion either. Farts arise, like thoughts....deal with it. To me, Tolle creates further division. He speaks of the aura of stillness that surrounds all of nature, and there's division number 1. Humans ARE nature, and there is certainly an aura of stillness that surrounds a black widow spiders victim.

We cannot blame the various religious groups for building power structures around Christ's words. Christ taught the world of enlightenment at a time when the collective human conscious was not ready. He was but one of many enlightened men and women thoughout history who can guide us on our own paths of enlightenment. If someone is not ready to awaken, that is their journey. Joseph, I hope someday you see the truth in Christ's words, and not just what humans have turned Christ's words into.

Eckhart has brought forth the main importance of all of our spiritual teachers including Budha. Jesus wasn't the only teacher. And he isn't GOD either. He isn't the creator. He was just a more evolved soul that the most of the population was back then. You really do need to research more...

@joseph82069 I don't prefer to use the term "God" I prefer The Unified Field or Consciousness as Science Puts it. Or from what other extraterrestrial races call it, such as Creation or the Is-ness, because it's just a force that's there, it is the Prime Creator of our Universe. It doesn't have a gender because it doesn't have a polarity. It is a single universal field of intelligence. This is why they decided to split Science from Religion, two separate investigations hundreds of years ago.

I would have no life without Christ, since He is the only source of life. No agenda..just getting the truth out. The souls of men hang in the balance if they believe it or not. I am allowed to judge truth from error and right from wrong and darkness from light. I'm told to expose error. Christ is the only way for life and forgiveness of sin. All other ways are false and demonic,they lead to judgment and hell.There is none righteous not one. Repent of your sin and turn to Christ alone to save you
