Ok, you have got similar problem with sound. But I have problem with motion tracker on emulator. When I collect a motion tracker, I have strange shapes that isn't a motion tracker. It's annoying. Do you have the same problem? Do you know how to fix it?

This game scared me, even now. 1:36 it seems like those aliens keep on changing places, always scares me. 3:50 scared me also even though I saw it coming. This is scarier than Doom 3. Great ambience and atmosphere. Love this game.

I had ammo for the second weapon but hadn't found the second gun yet. I thought since I saw the picture of the weapon and saw an Ammo count that I could switch to it. so I was apparently just being stupid. :D

this is scary to tell the truth because you have no map(think you get one later) or motion tracker to tell where anything is.....looking around corners like how people would have to in real survival and that really makes this game worth it to me.

ah yes, the original AvP...the marine felt the closest to the movies, as far as not knowing what the hell was going on or what to do, or where to go. It could really be considered the first survival horror game :D It always sucked when you ran out of ammo, had aliens chasing you, and low health....only to run into a dead end (no pun intended).

and and had this emulator too, until my comp died :( sad, sad day....

It used its own engine created by rebellion software.

They also did the 1st PC version and have made the new one thats coming out in Feb next year.

For their time they were damn amazing, as was the overall game.

The good thing about using an emulator now is you can speed up the game so it runs like doom, very cool indeed.

The bad thing is the saving, you have to make sure that you save the game in a place you can run from as the game respawns ALL the aliens and when you re-start, they come staight at you.

Still scary now too.

To this day I don't think I've played a more emersive FPS, except maybe for

Halflife 2.

The atmospere was crazy and while it had its faults, respawns, getting lost, saving in the WORST places etc, I regard it as a mile stone in FPS games.

ps. You can speed the game right up using the emulator, makes it more like doom.
