  • I just posted my complete hamster setup on my channel. It includes 2 Crittertrail cages with lots of extras!

  • That's hardly any bedding the cage is more for hamster than for gerbils! Gerbils love to dig tunnels! U should know I've been out smarted by a 12 year old loser the cage is boring

  • I wonder ... Who in the world would be able to do this whiout this video tutorial?

  • that habitat is sooooo boring

  • He does it like it's nothing...

  • PLZ HELP>>> WHICH GERBILS ARE MOST ACTIVE AND OR PLAYFULL??

& WHICH GERBILS ARE FURRY? PLEASE ANSWER BOTH

  • who the heck puts a hamster in a BOX!!???

  • @glogters001 its for transport from a pet shop they are big enough for the journey just not to be kept in there to long

  • @glogters001 IDIOT WHEN YOU BUY HAMSTER ITS IN A BOX -.-

  • This tank is really too small. Minimum is 1 square meter. In natur hamsters walk nearly 3 km.

  • Their tank looks quite small.

  • is there any problem with hamsters

wont they be the spreader of different dideases i wont one but i have allergy too

    please reply

  • @nabeelcatt They don't spread diseases - if you're allergic then you might want to choose a Hamster with very short or not very thick hair and don't keep the Hamster in your bedroom or stuffy room so you reduce the risk of having an allergic reaction... & don't rub it on your face. :P

  • NO NO NO DONT USE TANKS THEY WILL SMALL RRRREEEAAALLLLYYY BAD!!!

  • @hibutthead1 everything will smell bad if you don't clean it right

  • @littlepeanutcola not tru

  • So go and seat yourself in a room of 10 qm for the rest of your life and consider this as far enough just because you are alone in it.

BTW: most of hamsters SHOULD be alone in their home.

Read some books about species-appropriate keeping of hamsters instead of selling without qualms.

  • This cage is far too small, the bedding in not enough, there is no sand for bathing, the food is sh.., no animal should have to live like this.

  • @FrancineSmith1969 For a hamster that size and considering there is only one of them the cage is the right size. It could be bigger but it doesn't have to be. Im also guessing that in this case they just used a small amount of bedding for the purpose of the tutorial. And food wise hamsters should have seed mix and pellets. Therefore they wont get bored:)

  • porque nao fala oque fazer na gravides do hamister oque fazer cualdo eles nacem

  • Um, that cage is not adequate for gerbils. They will eat that igloo up and that's bad because it's plastic, and plastic is terrible for their systems...

  • Tooodo lixo meu sou mais a do meu hamster

  • inside the house is not total dark. It's a crap house!!

  • para que tanta maravalha?

  • If you are getting a gerbil do NOT use that plastic igloo hideaway it shows! Your gerbil WILL chew it up and plastic is terrible for their digestive systems. Get a wood hideaway for gerbils.

  • it doesn't look like it can actualy get to the water

  • that cage looks boring :(

  • dont use shavings your animal can inhale them and get sick or die

  • Please make a video for Goldfish or coldwater fish keeping!

  • hamster and gerbils need more sawdust!!

  • That was an awful setup

  • anybody elses stop at 1:10 wtf!!!!

  • you forgot the bedding fluf

  • THE HAMSTER WAS IN A BOX?!

  • @IlhamQusyairie

have u ever owned one? There is something called fish tank/aquarium hamster cages!!!!

  • @IlhamQusyairie

That's what they're in when you buy them.

  • @MPKFilms lol

  • @IlhamQusyairie Most pet stores use boxes. Cats go out in boxes sometime too. I only half agree with using boxes. They claim it's to allow the animal to not be frightened by the whole moving experience and because it's thin cardboard the animal can breath. The part I don't agree with is that they use cheap cardboard to save the store money. Even small dogs can leave in boxes sometimes.

  • my gerbils like at least 3 or 4 inches of beding

  • ??? The aquarium is not big enough, the wheel also, the straw...the gerbils dig wholes in in but there is not enough! Really, what an expert!

  • is that cage good for syrians??? please hurry and reply this is important

  • Comment removed

  • @waffle2882 its good for ANY hamster...

its amazing how dumb people can get -.-

though i rather prefer the cages that you can add tubes to

but i havent had a hamster in years so eh :l

  • Way stupid!...What an expert...

  • : )I have a pet hamster

  • food dish too small and the cage set up looks so boring

  • did it take long?

  • i fucking hate it

  • haaha, the hamster is that fat that it can just jump up on the wheel

  • this video sucks i hate you i will only like your video if you subscibe to my channel oh and love gerbils bye.

  • gerbils are better i breed them i've got 25 of em'

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW so cute :3

  • in the video is it a hamster or gerbal

  • my hamster did not come in a box

  • Does the hamster have enough air?

  • whittle fluffie hamster

    awwwww

  • the cage must be bigger

  • @simsi333 How big?

  • @smilygirl2484

mindestens 1meter long mind. beter is i have 120 cm long

  • thank you!! its very helpful! now i know what to get for my new pet!

  • Finally a great commercial video. Also what kind of wood shavings is that? Pine and Cedar are bad for them, and also RedTornado279, Not all Wood shavings are bad for hamsters, Aspen wood shavings is safe to use.

  • You should never use wood shavings as bedding, thats bad for them you should use carefresh bedding, and if you have a gerbil you should never give them a plastic wheel or hut, they will chew it up and plastic is bad for them.

  • Damn thats a fat gerbil >.<

  • Lil Hunter is the name of my dwarf russian hamster

  • I have a very small cage for my hamster i cant aford a bigger one

  • @LilHuntero3o you can make a bigger cage you know

is the cage very small ?then you should just find a play box you know , that is bigger and connect them with each other byè cutting a hole in them not to big, and put toilet rolls in them = tube

  • he just plops it in anywhere lol

  • This is the very first professional/commercial video for instructions of care that I have ever seen that was actually right about anything. They gave the Campbell a large wheel so it didnt need to arch it's back in the small wheel, they gave it seedmixture AND hard pellet mixture, they used Aspen bedding, the cage is of good size for the Campbell and the overall presentation was plesant. I hate loving this video.

  • Not for gerbils. Hamsters, yes. Gerbils, no...

  • which petshop can u buy that water bottle from?. I had one before but forgot were i got it. thanks

  • What kind of hamster was that?

  • Animal Abuser!

  • @RennmausPro why is he an anamal abuer?

  • i think thats a perfect size cage.

as long as it has its wheel, and some toys. including wood/mineral chews.

mostly if it has its wheel, and you give it some handling time.

this sint so small at all

  • The tank is NOT to small I have the same tank and I have a gerbil and a hamster there in different tanks and they luv there's

  • That cage is WAY to small alone, but you can always buy a tank topper ($40) or you can just buy another type of hamster cage, for alot cheaper.

  • The cage is much to small, you animal abuser!

  • Very simple and very useful

  • Ok, but can I put a gerbil in a plastic bin or will it chew out of there too? Still, thanks for helping:)

  • I have a question! Which one should I get, a hamster or a gerbil? I want to get them based on less smell, more playability, more entertaining (to watch), fun to handle a lot, and fun to play with. Please answer! Thank you:)

  • @Tyrannotar123 I personally think gerbils are better, they are much more active and more friendly then small hamsters. But also they are wayy less smelly. They are desert animals and so they don't urinate as much as other rodents, and their poop is pretty dry, so it's not stinky. You can get a ten gallon tank, but the bigger the better. Also I suggest that you ad more stuff, unlike this guy; gerbils need to burrow and climb, so accessories are good. And use a wood hut, not plastic. They will

  • @Tyrannotar123 Chew it in no time.

If you decide to get gerbils, feel free to ask me any questions, and I will also give you all the information I have. (:

  • Wow, can you out up some care videos? You are awesome! Please, I will get a hamster/gerbil soon and I want to know about them!

  • Thanks this video was really useful :)

  • Very useful :)

  • do not use the pine bedding for gerbils!!!!!!!! the chemicals in the bedding can cause upper respiratory infections!!!

  • too small for a Hamster

  • i like to spoil my hamster >.< that cage is to small :O

  • @cellur111

    sameeee!!!!!!!!

  • @evapleska lol :o i have 5 cages connected together and other things connected to the cage just for 1 hamster.. O_O
