@comeintokyoo I came up with a plane crash story (with a forbidden romance) one February day. Two days later, a similar plane crashed in Buffalo, NY. Six days after that, this song was released. As the story developed (my not knowing of EToS or this song yet), I named the plane Autumn Rain after a Cascada song (yY5pjCXzVcU). That May, I found this song and was stunned: every line except "Words of blood on shore" resembled my story. Six days later, another plane crashed off the coast of Brazil.

This song is (IMHO) about at least four stories: Mountain Lights 929 (fictional plane crash in my story; aircraft named "Autumn Rain" after Cascada song "Dream on Dreamer"), Colgan 3407 (rl plane crash 8 days before the single was released), Air France 447 (rl plane crash days after I discovered the song), and Haibane Renmei Episode 6 (Kuu's Day of Flight.) I think it could describe almost any kind of disaster where mistakes are made to cause or aggravate it, especially questionable romances.
