@152Tarn you have no knowledge of mathematics men and women are equals on both they just develop the brain at a different time wich discourage women at early ages to do mathematics and men to do a little bit more abstract stuff like languages but at the end of the development both are just as much as the other able to learn in any domains

In my opinion biology and maths are the two most important natural sciences. Biology, because what it describes us, the whole world, in a nutshell, and because maths actually are the world.

I wonder why they thought that it was surprising that mathematics helped in their field. I mean math can explain the over time lapse of change and development, a key component in science, especially biology dealing with cellular repair. They must have been complicated problems, but it does help get to the solution and understand it more, something that could lead to new discoveries.
