If you do some digging around. You might understand that this is an interesting insight into Chuck Smith. Smith was Paul Cain's campaign manager & worship director during the 50's. And Cain told Smith that he sees him as a youth pastor but over thousands of thousands of young people. This was told before it all happened many years before the late 60's.
OK--So is this to just give a thumbs up to Chuck or confirming the ministry work he has been involved in---or is their some other stuff that I am supposed to pick-up on - can you provide some type of cross ref. into what you are attempting to impute
@drbarco IMO Smith was very influenced by Cain's ministry as a prophetic & healing minister and friend. But you wont read or hear that coming from any biography from Smith. Consider also that Calvary Chapel wouldnt be what it is today if it wasnt for Lonnie Frisbee. But you dont hear or read about Lonnie major influence in Calvary's history. Im fond of both Smith and Cain but im not so fond of revisionism.
Thanks for the info---I also was influenced by a well known person---however though I still love this pastor/brother, I don't agree with some of the teachings that he ascribes to. As far as whenChuck has not given credit to someone in his past, do you know if this is deliberate, or, is ththeir a specific reason for this. In regards to when you say revisionism, to whom are you addressing this about. I have no problem with someone who has the gift of prophecy, or, healing.

@drbarco There is a clear evidence of revisionism within Calvary Chapel. Is it intentional or deliberate?
I guess each person will have to decide for themselves.
