A friend of mine knows a girl who went to school with Brad, and she showed us his Grade 10 photo from his high school yearbook. Believe me when I say he did not look anything like a guy who would one day be a country music superstar. He looked more like a guy who would be running Microsoft.

Saw Brad a couple of years ago and he said to the crowd that the greatest lesson learned from highschool was that it's not the greatest 4 years of your life.

And how true is that, look at him now.

so true, I might have been charmed by sport-guys at high school but the two guys I've loved the most during my life so far, was a bit geeky and not typically handsome - but so fun to hang with, independent and caring :-) as if they really didn't care what everyone else thought.
