I saw them in the early to mid 80's, no opening act, just the Boys for 2 hrs and 40 min, non stop... the best concert I have ever seen.

I actually got to see the boys live a couple of years ago after an Iowa Cubs ball game -- had to drag my wife there kicking and screaming (not a country music fan) -- I LOVED the show (except it was too danged short!)

I just got this dvd it is great all the songs are good I even think they sound better than the cds.Never seen them live but this is good music.And randy owens is a great preformer.

I was dragged kicking and screaming to an Alabama show when I was 18. I thought I only liked "outlaw country" at the time. They made the hairs on my neck stand up. I left a huge fan. These guys were incredible live.

@southernstar0946 i feel ya! Alabama was my first live concert. I was 13 yrs old and I will never forget those goose bumps that I got on this song. They are the reason I started playing guitar. They were one of the greatest and most original out of their time.
