  • God Bless You Too Jerry.. MDA without you is nothing! Take Care

  • toilovetelethons, you question the muscular dystrophy association and jerry about where is the cure, what about the cure for cancers, aids, stupidity,oh sorry. the mda's money thats raised goes for research.......and wheelchairs, and camp for these kids, and orthos, braces, oxygen, and bath lifts etc

and only about 10 percent or so that is pledged is actually collected, so when the number is 60 its probably closer to 6.i have charcot-marie-toothe disease, as wellas 3 of my kids, sister, mom etc.

  • how many years has the telethon been going? How many millions and millions of dollars has been donated by hard working people - where is the cure Jerry? Where is the cure.

  • @kiddyblender To be fair, what have we cured for any disease - since polio? It takes DECADES to develop drugs for nearly every illness known to man. MDA did pioneer the Plasmapheresis treatment - and that saved my friend's life. Also, in 2011, the cause for ALS was FINALLY discovered by researchers at Northwestern University - just two examples - THERE you go! :)

  • Jerry Lewis is a perfectionist. Stupid people who leave stupid comments can never understand what it is to try to strive for the very best. MDA should bring back Jerry Lewis. He is the heart and the soul of the telethon.

  • I don't think it is far that he did not get to sing his last song. He have done so much for the MDA for them to toss him aside like that. I love Jerry Lewis and I know he can't do the show 4 ever because of health issues and bcause of his age but I think they should of kept it to the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day telethon!

  • One in a million.

  • owner of this channel thanks for posting this we love Jerry Lewis what MDA did to him is not fair

  • @partyspecialists You are most welcome!!!

  • I'm so mad and sad at the disrespectful way Jerry was treated in the "winter of his life". A man devotes nearly 50 years to a cause, raises over 2 billion dollars and gets tossed aside like an old shoe - This to me, is one of the greatest injustices EVER. How shameful. How pathetic. Jerry Lewis deserves a tremendous send off. I'm dedicating Johnny Reid's song "Thank You" to Jerry. Gheesh, I'm pissed.

  • @DragedaPoemsLyrics I wish I knew exactly what happened but what you have said her is certainly how I feel..

  • he looks so frail i grew uo watchin his films and its sad to see jerry like this but so inspiaring to here him sing that song

  • Jerry ídolo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am handicapped he is nothing but love kindness and hope for me and always being. and no I don't have md but cp I love you Jerry for ever.

  • PLease come to the "Thank you Jerry Lewis" FB page:

  • I will always foundly remember that very first telethon, and on our B&W tv. Hey Jerry, there's a lot of us walking on becuz you did. Thank you.

  • I think what many people forget is why MD touched Jerry and why he started this telethon. I heard that his sister died of the disease. Over the years, Jerry rankled more than a few feathers, in fact he was never a real nice guy. But, he never gave up on a cure. MDA is making a huge mistake dumping on the man whose passion for his kids and a cure is why so much money was put into that organization. That will be ending I'm afraid

  • One of the most touching performances i have ever seen..to this day it still makes me cry..Jerry has done so much for those children * adults throughout yrs of illness himself..all those yrs he stayed up over 24hrs never complaining, but with a smile on his face & laughter in his heart..the day he is called to heaven will be a sad day for all of us but his light will always shine with the Lord..God Bless you Jerry & thank you..for years of entertainment but mostly for your selfless acts of love!

  • Jerry Lewis is a national treasure. I love this man.

  • Mr Lewis NO one will never ever replace you , you are KING thanks for all the hours/months/years/efforts that you have put in to the telethon, and you know what would be the ultimate announcement on your last telethon? ( WE FOUND A CURE ) thumbs up if you agree? ( how can you not?)

  • Mr. Lewis thank you so so much for all you have done. I have Spina Bfida and have been in a wheelchair for forty four years but, my fiance has Pompei Disease and will be leaving me soon. God Bless you, Sir. Thank you for all you have done for my fiance and the rest of "YOUR KIDS!!!!!!!!!!" We will never forget you now please take the rest of your life, after this years telethon and ENJOY life. No one deserves it more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @abba99592 Amen. Personally, I've always thought to myself that pretty much EVERYBODY that is disabled was / is "his kid", muscular dystrophy patient or not. Bless you and your husband!

  • Thanks for the Legacy you have carried through all of these many years as you've helped out those poor kids, Jerry. You will be missed as the namesake telethon will go on without your presence. Thanks for the ride.

  • So, Jerry is retiring...at least he'll be going out on his own terms...I bet this video, 2010's ending, and 2011 (when and if it's posted) will now get a gazillion hits. THANK YOU, JERRY!!!!!

  • One of the greatest human beings to ever walk the face of the earth. He's raised over a billion dollars!

  • @lionelraoul I believe it's now well over 2 billion! Gotta check that; I know Jerry's a stickler for facts, lol!

  • @ilovetelethons LOL! Good one.

  • Cleaned up the negative comments everybody, and just FYI, on all my channels / videos, the comments will be moderated from now on so we don't have hateful things being said. Disagreements are fine. Hateful speech towards anyone is not.

  • @ilovetelethons MDA Telethons looked like a bunch of morons singing god bless america, this was not the 4th of july or PTL club

  • i actually cried, so emotional

  • The negative comments serve nothing. I grew up with seeing Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin on television, and I can't count the times I laughed till i cried because of both men. Jerry brought much happiness to just me, but MILLIONS of people in the United States of America. He orchestrated the creation of the MDA and the telethon that supports the cause. He's a man of integity to continue this for over 30 years when he doesn't need the income. God Bless Jerry Lewis. I Love him.

  • PREDIVNI DZERI!!!

  • There is no man that has the biggest heart than Jerry Lewis on his search for the cure for MDA. for all he done i pray and hope they will find a cure for this illness

  • I never liked Jerry as a comedian but he sure has done a lot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Kudos to him however, this video of him is pitiful. At 83, he should pack it in. Sorry if I sound harsh but it's a logical fact.

  • God bless you Jerry, thank you for so many years of happiness that you brougth to the world and to our house !!!!! I am far away now Jerry but I never forget your telethon every labor day!!!!God Bless You Jerry Lewis

  • God Bless You, Jerry! Thank you for your continuous efforts to MDA.

  • Jerry is in my prayers. The LORD has used him to make me laugh/smile at times I never thought I would/could again. This is a wonderful song and a great singer. I look forward to the Telethon every year. God bless you, JL!

  • a TRUE hero

  • God Bless Our beloved - Patron Saint

God Bless this Man of All Seasons
