The contrast makes the issue so much more glaring thank you for such a a view ... I am well aware of the issue my hometown in Canada is overwhelmed I want to bring them all home and have brought some but can only do so much. my city angers me they treat them mean and cruel and try to get rid of them and this horrible trend they call "bum bashing" youth attacking them ... how can we stop this please someone tell me and help please... tears

molto spesso mi chiedo perchè si è subito pronti a partire per terre lontane in nome della giustizia(cosa tra l'altro nobilissima),quando poi si voltano le spalle alle molteplici ingiustizie che ci stanno davanti agli occhi tutti i giorni.

Grazie Annalisa per le tue parole, a volte si rischia di cadere nella demagogia o nel fanatismo affrontando alcuni argomenti, e la mia paura nel raccontare i pensieri di persone apparentemente osì lontane da noi era questa, mentre volevo solo immaginare me stessa al loro posto, e comunque sono d'accordissimo con te con il guardare più vicino a noi se vogliamo aiutare chi ha bisogno. And yes.........I try to be thankful for having a roof over my families head.....warm beds to sleep in...food to eat....EVERYDAY! I am also teaching my children to appreciate what they have and opening their eyes to those less fortunate! We gather up our old clothes and toys for other kids! (Sometimes it takes some convincing to get rid of some toys......but they seem to understand and want to help someone else)Peace! Diane:)
