  • Nicee Fan :))) .First Time i See Wet Fur Stim Youtube- outside films

  • haha it's a giraffe :B

  • lol "poof"

  • hahahh lool awsome )))

  • this program will take over the VFX industry sooner or later! its really powerful!

  • ahahahahhha that was funny. when he dried his fur poofed AHahahahaha

  • Not to put this down, but I think that was just a clever way of covering up the fact that this doesn't transition to dry very well.

  • any way that you could post a tutorial on how you made that rabbit?

I'm having a problem with the ears since they're not bones I'm not sure how to do them. do I add bones and just makes them really small so that I can create the ear material?

I would really appreciate it. great video though

  • Tells the story and fun! Great work.

  • Looks better wet :)

  • wow ))) cool, very funny rabbit ))))

    Well done

  • Man! This is so cool! I've been using houdini for some time now and i cant even grasp how you went about doing this! Sooooo complicated. Well done.

  • it is necessary that autodesk develops another conception of dynamics and fluids for maya

  • haha wow man.....that was really nice one!

  • Thanks :)

  • why would he be gay!?

  • Please grow up. If you are serious in doing effects, please at least learn the advantages/drawbacks of each individual package, e.g. Max/Maya/Houdini. There is no one package that will kick everyones ass. And again, once you get enough technical skills.... try to replicate this effect in Maya. I look forward to it.

  • All the other fluid effects shots done "in maya" seem to be using Real Flow.... which is a plugin for Houdini Max Maya etc..... I need proof that it can be done out of the box please :)

  • I did a search for Maya Fluid Effects on youtube, I only found some using the Ocean Shader (which IMO, does not count as a fluid effect... it's just displacement on a plane with very very nice shading) - I need a video response, something close to what I've done, or like the blender/realflow examples on youtube.

  • Please do give me a proof of concept (video response!) that it works. I am very certain, maya fluids simply cannot do a SDF based water sim, much less the setup that has interaction between fur and fluid that I setup in Houdini. Proof of concept from Maya please... in fact, I don't even need proof that it can do this complex sim... just a simple water wheel such as my other video would be enough :)

  • Well... the last I used Maya, I think it can't. But that was a while back and I'm now a Houdini/Max artist (my maya skills are not uber). If it's possible, then I await your video response. Last I remember, the fluid solver in Maya 7 could not do water kind effects :)

  • I would love to see a proof-of-concept that maya can do the exact same thing I did, out of the box :)

  • that was cool!
