  • you have funny voice xD

  • of course the nexus going to load slower because it's loading flash

  • no thanks iphone 4 win

  • With native flash support for android being dropped, Chrome and other solutions like skyfire, frash, iSwifter, cloud browse, and photon browser may be the only way to view flash content on mobile platforms. I'm glad that 3rd party alternatives exist. Some of us actually like to have flash content available on our mobile tablets !! And let's not forget, not every Good flash website will be ported to HTML5. It's nice having backwards compatibility with the "old content"

  • This was done more than 1 year ago. The flash version was a also a beta. I can only imagine it must be better today than what i was back then.

  • how do you turn flash on or off

  • On my HTC Inspire I am very happy with its browser. And it is 2.2.1 Froyo, so maybe it is just the Nexus One browser that is having some slip ups!! Because mine is doing great!

  • i am using 2.3.3 why my browser is different from yours when accessing to youtube.com.. it keeps direct me to mobile youtube. WHy? i need help?

  • @hackerforlife92 You can choose to access the full version of the site by scrolling to the bottom and choosing it.

  • capacitive. The resistive screens have died...

  • froyo screen capacitive or resistive?

  • Your website is not optimized for smartphone browsing. That's why miniclip opened so fast.

  • iphone didn't had to load flash :P

  • apple is better!

  • @wouterdeleeuwecht 2.2 froyo is old compare it to 2.3 now and flash didnt have to load on the iphone so :p :P.Android > Iphone

  • If you have never seen before on any mobile device, then it probably is fastest

  • please help. im want to by a htc wildfire or htc hero? help me pick im thinking the most about the wifi signal, internet and flash.

  • Evo wins!

  • Froyo, Linux, Unix, simply the best !!!!

  • Is the number. Seek 4 functions ;)

  • Access code 4 master administrator. NOT working for all operators. OK

  • whats your name? Brandeniminon? LOL!! wtf...?

  • @Veginh0 NOOB! ever heard about jailbreak your iphone and than you can download frash!!

  • I uninstalled flash of my moto milestone a853 froyo offical mod and its faster than the iphone, Sony Ericsson vivaz, htc legend, nokia n8 those are the phones that i've been able to compare my phone with personally

  • It's kinda bullshit. All 3 devices are using same wifi connection during the test! Think! ;]

  • wtf give me one of them

  • Do i spy steam running in the background at the beginning?

  • I think that you are running out of processor power on the phone running 2.2. And memory obviously.

  • @arpakyna Oh. There's a 'Mini' and a 'Mobile'? Interesting, because both are apparently available for my phone and neither have a 'turbo' option.

Do you have a screenshot or something...?

  • Oh. There's a 'Mobile' AND a 'Mini'? Hmm...

Except that I can get both for my android phone and they are the exact same thing. Same settings, no option for a 'turbo' on either.

  • @arpakyna not so; opera does it stock. How else is it so fast?

Theres no 'opera turbo' in the settings anyways. I have an android phone and iPod touch, and neither of the two have an option labeled 'opera turbo'.

  • @smoshrules459

Opera _Mobile_ does have that option, and no, it is not enabled by default. Opera _Mini_ has "turbo" enabled by default and no way of changing this.

  • @cashfornothing dumbass. So they are watching every keypress as I type this? They read every email I send? Check every text I get? Record all my calls?

It doesnt work the way you think.

  • UNFAIR COMPARISON. Opera mini stores web sites on it's servers so it's super fast. I would ignore the hd2 on this video, or redo it with the STOCK browser.

    Unsubscribe. This has happened before.

  • @smoshrules459

Opera only does that if you have enable "Opera Turbo" in the settings. What makes this comparison obviously unfair is that Nexus is loading the flash content.

  • wouldnt the fact that you loaded the pocketnow website onto the nexus one previous to the test give it an advantage as would it not have stored the site in the system cache

  • Thanks man... great upload.

    Cheers Perth Australia

  • @cashfornothing what a loser you go to every android video and write google is watching.

  • @Nnnarekkk He's doing that on Youtube, a page owned by Google for that matter.

  • Android users, G(.)(.)gle is watching you...

  • te iphone looks so GAY compared to the other SICK Phones

  • if ipone had flash, we would have the best web browser

  • the host is simply a forking apple fanboy eat shit

  • Where can I buy some transparent hands, so I can see the games I am playing?

  • how would you play a flash game that requires a keyboard for like the arrow keys or WASD or something?

  • nice vainy hands ;)

  • can you turn flash off?

  • how is it possible for him to have the standard youtube website, iv got adobe flash 2.2 froyo and its diffrent to his? help

  • @unleashedr hey :)

Scroll down down down ... :D

there , u find blue lines w/e called ; standard view , google chqnge , i forgot it really , just try them all (4) :)

I hope and sure that helped , take care

  • @zpybot yooooooo thanxs soo much

  • Galaxy S handles Flash better.

  • Seeing Your face 1st time!

  • It's not "flash and hold" it's double-tap to force the video to the full width (larger in landscape)

  • those android phone suck try samsung galaxy s i9000 and it will own all 3

  • I have a mytouch 4g and it blows the iphone web browing experience out of the water. With skyfire app I can view almost every website with flash fast and easy...u cant do that shit on the iphone and ived owned an icrap before

  • I have a Samsung galxy spica and i cant find Flash player in Android market =(

  • What do you use to make the videos?

  • iphone baby

  • add me in gangwars android

    6A371

  • i can't watch porn on iphone4 because of not working with flash player or no flash player oh my poor iphone4 ,

  • @Lee2k4 No, you need 2.2 an above

  • Like the Vid - But whats that on your Portrait screen behind you the black part that looks like its updating??

    Thanks

  • whats the middle phone>

  • iphone won flash slows down the other phones

  • @TrueYears Your mom slows down the phones.

  • @EduardoReyesT Are you a poorfag who cant afford an iphone with out a contract??

    I am sorry =/

  • @TrueYears I do have a iPhone without contract. I hate apple fanboys like you, thats all.

  • @EduardoReyesT Okay, Mr I am not a fanboy but own a iphone (LOL) tell me, looking at this video, which phone works faster? does flash REALLY make the difference? I mean is it REALLY that much better? so youre telling me when you in rush hour you trying to look a site you rather wait more time loading your flash contented site than just have it on in instant? you saw this video. Adobe is good and all but shit micromedia didnt required as much resource as flash does. think about that.

  • @TrueYears Nexus one is the best one in the video, it SUPPORTS flash it does not mean that you can't deactivate it, without flash the fastest one was the nexus and only the nexus supports flash so its a plus.

  • @EduardoReyesT ever heard of the combination between software of hardware?

  • @TrueYears Yep, and Nexus has better Hardware and software.

  • @EduardoReyesT so issue is not the phones but flash

  • @TrueYears Nexus is the only one that supports it so its better than the other phones,

  • @EduardoReyesT look how slowy and shitty it is

  • @TrueYears Because it has Flash player on, turn it off an compare again.

  • @EduardoReyesT So the problem is Flash and the iphone would still win

I am sorry but stock browser that comes with Droid just sucks you need a sub menu just to go forward?

  • @TrueYears You can change it and we are comparing the speed, not the interface.

  • @EduardoReyesT so you don't really care how long it takes you to type a site or navigate as long the site loads fast? Youre probably just happy the site loads at all after spending a minute navigating your way there. Interesting concept

    I see now.

  • @TrueYears We were not comparing the interface, we were comparing the speed in android you can choose other browser, your not limited to safari.

  • @EduardoReyesT then the speed of the android is not good enough for flash. Apple knows this and just figure it would be easier to accommodate the internet for its users by the use of its convergence. What Droid does is try to convince people you can take your pc on the go and search the web the same way you do in the palm of your hands. Guess what, people dont what slow pages. people dont want to navigate in a site that movies weird due to flash. Okay, whats a good browser which is betterthaSA

  • @TrueYears They dont give you flash, you have to install it, do you preffer a cellphone that only takes pictures or a cellphone that can take pictures and shitty videos? it's exactly the same, is another option to the phone.

  • @EduardoReyesT Tell one who phone with a 720P camera that is better than iphones 4? the issue here is not the phones but Flash. Flash is just a shitty multimedia platform that requires way too many resources to run properly

  • @TrueYears Yeah but you may need flash for something important. Droid X has better camera than iPhone 4. Also you are comparing a new iPhone with a old nexus nexus was the first "SuperPhone" in the market.

  • @TrueYears Do you believe anything S. Jobs says?

  • @thenormalyears I am both a Android OS and iOS software developer

I dont believe what he says but tell me how many times your unstable Android OS stop working and how many times you had to force close it

    yeah thats what I though

  • @TrueYears I would say oh never as far as I know. I did have an iphone but I had to return 3 of them because they kept fucking up and overheating or the screen would turn solid white and I would have to restart it like twice a day. Since I have switched to android I haven't had any problems with my phone. So is 0 really the number you thought?

Sweet job making fart apps though keep up the good work.

  • @thenormalyears Okay, then tell us what Droid phone you use

  • @TrueYears are you on crack? the iphone has a terrible camera for pns and video. my old k790a ericsson 3.2mp slaughters the iphone4 in picture quality. only thing apple has done right is their screens which give you the impression the photo is better then it really is. have fun with your iphone4 with some gay silicone jacket if you want reception LOL! idiot apple designers made a hugely inferior piece of hardware yet again!

  • @xxMalakeixx Uhmmmmmmmm sigh

Yes we all know Android OS is a pretty awesome STABLE system that doesnt constant updates and versions

hey I hear Sony is still testing with 2.1 lol Enjoy being a poorfag

  • @TrueYears Sony is an individual sadly. I'm glad I stick with Samsung and HTC.

Is not like the iPhone is stable when it sometimes crashes the app for no reason.

Enjoy looking at those nicely placed 4x5 tiles of boxes that hides the wallpaper while we look at useful widgets and nice Live Wallpapers.

  • @PinkMirrorKirby of course I will enjoy looking at my nicely placed 4X5 titles of boxes that hide the wall paper !! specially when the res is 960x640 while the highest in an droid phone is 480x800

it does crashes but not as often as android apps do

yes useful widgets that drain your battery life and nice live wall papers that also drain your life . Enjoying using a system that needs constant fixing

  • @TrueYears Android Gingerbread supports 1280×720 resolution, which is much higher than that "retina display".

Android apps don't crash as often as you think.

Widgets does not drain too much battery and the live wallpapers stops when you are not on your homescreen, my Galaxy S lasted me about a day or two, so no battery life problems here.

Btw, I don't use a microscope to read my texts, also Super AMOLED > Retina Display.

  • @PinkMirrorKirby SuperAMOLED seems pretty shitty when the max res is what 480x800? I also dont wanna carry a large 5 inch phone on my pocket. And whoa whoa whats this? Yes, your Galaxy S represents every android phone in the market. And every Android phone have actually physical screens that support 1280 by 720 which are shorter than 5 inches. I dont need a microscopes to read my text, not when its perfectly clear with out having to zoom in . Opening a 2nd menu to go back is fun too.

  • you guys really tested a hack version of froyo to do this test to two full mos's????

  • Hey genius did you remember to clear the cache on all three phones before the browser page load test??? Any cached images will def help the page load faster.

  • The iphone seem to be much more responsive in genereal, and the slower browser speed will be better using Opera Mini 5 browser.

  • FRIENDLY FIRE! ... GD, MF!

  • Flash Player now works on the iPhone and iPad. I just downloaded it from BidsWOW.com

  • wifi??

  • all u apple haters should throw ur touch phones in the trash, its their invention.

  • @sgohara Apple didn't create the touch phone. Do your research. They made it better, but did not invent it. Also touch screen technology was patented in the 70's

  • @sgohara I was using touchscreen phones long before the iP-hone. Please look up the terms "Palm" and "cellular phones" together. I dunno, you may be surprised. Best regards.

  • @amd77j sorry i meant multitouch.

  • @sgohara Well if think about it this way, if apple invent capacitive touch they would have a legit patents on it and would be sitting on it. They then would be giant patent trolls (because they like to do that aka they're fucking giant dicks)and sue everyone in the tech community. Well that hasn't happened so one could easily assume if they knew nothing about the topic (like you) that apple did not invent capacitive touch. 3m invented capacitive touch more than 20 years ago.

  • What is the phone on the right? 04:18

  • @makemyownpath

is there a also an update to android 2.2 for htc desire of se x10??

i thought the android 2.2 was not released yet??!!!

  • We don't know what wifi each device is working on! Flash is not for the phone because its not seamless! As you see the flash phone trying to hold composure acting glitchy due to the overwhelming flash application, the iphone cut the fat.

  • It's 'miniclip' not 'miniclipS'

  • BRANDON IS CUTE

  • to quote Cartman SOUTH PARK!

    FUKN SWEEEEET!!!!!

cant wait to get it on my Droid X

  • lets watch some porn!!!!

  • works great ;)

  • get the n900 and try it with in browser flash. 9.4, but native

  • @VTVStudios I absolutely love my droid x. Only thing I wasn't too fond of was the slight lag of the interface due to Motorola's rework of android. I highly recommend launcherpro. Free in the marketplace. Makes the x so much better. So yeah, other than froyo being delayed, I absolutely love it!

  • my desire runs flash really well

  • WTF of test is that! You do not even touch the links at the same time!!! Thanks man for make me worthless 11 minutes of my life! You dump!

  • I see now why Apple chose not to implement flash on their devices. I was looking forward to Flash for Froyo on my Droid X and now I'm not so sure... if these kinks aren't worked out I'll be worried. Hell, flash sucks on my full blown MacBook... I shutter to think of it running on my phone...

  • @Krauser1226 Apple doesn't like Flash because it eliminates the need to enter your credit card number into iTunes to get music, videos, games, apps ect. Apple makes a killing of of impulsive purchases. If Flash won't run on your mac book your mac book sucks. I run flash easily on all my pc's even older ones with multiple instances of flash video running at the same time.

  • @VTVStudios I see you don't know much about computers. My bad. Flash runs like crap on my MacBook (and all macs in general) not because they suck. Quite the contrary. Flash sucks on Macs because Adobe is too lazy to implement hardware decoding into the mac code for Flash not because my computer is bad. They only did it for windows. While I agree with the first part about distribution and Apple being greedy with iTunes, the second part simply isn't correct. Learn before you attack macs.

  • @Krauser1226 it wasn't Adobe being lazy it was Apple not letting flash have access to their GPU. And don't accuse me or anyone of knowing nothing about computers because macs can't run flash.

  • @Krauser1226 I appreciate your honest enough to admit why Apple doesn't like Flash. However it's not Adobe being lazy it was Apple not letting Flash have access to the GPU.

  • @VTVStudios Sorry about the "don't know much about computers" part. Didn't mean that and I overreacted. My apologies. What I meant is that the hardware GPU decoding is rubbish compared to the Windows copies of Flash. Ever since Apple gave them the API's to allow GPU access, the Flash version on Mac with hardware decoding are nowhere near the quality of Windows. They still tax the processor in ways they shouldn't. And it's not my GPU. Mine's a 9400 nvidia so I can't say my computer's too slow.

  • @Krauser1226 I wish more Mac fans could be as honest as you. All platforms have there weaknesses and strengths, neither would be as good as they are today without the competition they created.

Flash made web video ubiquitous. Not win-media, quicktime or real... I feel it's disingenuous when people jump on the 'I hate Flash campaign' because Steve Jobs didn't want it competing with iTunes.

  • @VTVStudios People who hate on Flash simply cause Apple do are obnoxious. I truly want Flash to perform well. I absolutely cannot wait to have flash in froyo. I just hope it doesn't slow down the experience. Then again, this is the beta in the video so high hopes for when its out of beta. If it runs as smooth as it did without it I'll be happier than ever. At the very least, Apple should have allowed it. It's freedom, something they never allowed in the app store and that's why I chose android.

  • @Krauser1226 My original comment was aimed at the fact that I would not like Flash on mobile at all if it created a performance hit as seen in this video. But if it doesn't, I will embrace it with open arms. The inability of Apple to even allow it as a choice for the consumer is what angers me. Their closed garden ecosystem of app distribution and development bothers me but hey, to each his own i guess. We'll let the market and consumers determine the winner.

  • @Krauser1226 I see that you went with the droid x, that's what I went with as well. How's it working for you? I couldn't be more pleased with the phone other than the froyo delay. I'm hoping flash runs smoothly on it as well. I run an interactive tv station on my site done in Flash and would love the ability to control it on the go.

  • You should replace the G1 with a Galaxy S and then do the test again ;)

  • A very poor comparison. At least I know to give flash a miss unless it's for a flash dependent webpage.

  • wow i cant believe youtube videos are that smooth. cant wait until my droid x comes

  • Got htc evo w/froyo got cyanogen6 and htc sense 2.2rooted

  • yeaaaaaah except for SE phones (like X10) which is PROPRIETARY

  • i am soo gonna get this phone for my b-day this month!!! XD

  • well tbh there is a setting to enable flash on demand if you want it there but not to be always there

  • people have to remember flash on android is still in beta by the time gingerbread comes out it will be like surfing the net on a desktop

  • As we can see flash on a phone isn't all that. i don't want my phone running flash if it cripples the browsing experience like it did on the nexus one.

  • @masterminds23 Its in beta stage. How the hell do you think hardware/software improve themselves if you don't start somewhere? Its an option and better than nothing.

  • lol u say ur name so fuckin fast xD it sounds weird

  • dude ive seen lots of ur vids on browser comparisons u NEVER want to use the skyfire browser on hd2 cuz u know it wont even be competition to other phone browser cuz it blows them away easy!!!! very fast and plays flash smooth!!! ur a iphone lover and cant handle hd2 skyfire browser to crush the shitty iphone...

  • how do u put 2.2 on a LG Ally

  • why not try this test again but with the hd2 running froyo as well

  • I personally like using the "Flash on Demand" option in the browser. It'll show a box for flash content but won't load it up unless I touch it ^_^ That way browser download speeds won't suffer from force loading flash content.

  • disable flash (or keep it on now that 2.2 has officially came out and flash has improved) and the nexus one will dominate both of these so called phones.

  • remember people. this video was uploaded 2 months ago. things have improved A LOT since then.

  • it isn't a bold claim, it's a fact. Check out my videos as proof, now being featured. Enjoy.

  • it's kinda strange cuz my HTC Desire (2.1 Eclair) browser is much faster than all of these. Do you guys have a slower wireless network speed than me prehapps?

  • HIGHandFLYandRYE. Thanks for the comment. Is there any chance you could die of cancer in the next hour or two? It would be a help

  • @ytgibbo what a ridiculously stupid, immature thing to say. Show's how many brain cells you're missing and how well (not!) you integrate with society

  • @cowboydom Ah...sensitive little flower. I've not heard from him since so maybe I got my wish. Hope so. Hope he died a slow, lingering, drawn out death. I don't worry about integrating with society, I'll leave that to plebs like you. Cheerio old chum. X

  • @ytgibbo look, i know you clearly have a problem with this person over the internet, but next time i think you should probably not use such a subject as cancer. I'm sure many people could be offended by this, and i know you are just going to say you don't care, but i just think that it's too touchy of a subject.

  • @ldimillo19 I do care actually. It was a callous, off the cuff remark. I apologise to anyone who was offended by it. Let's hope instead he was crushed by a grand piano. That can't offend anyone surely? (Unless they know someone who's been crushed by a grand piano of course)

  • hmm the sdk version...?

  • first off opera is not a default browser and it cant be set as one. second please dont quit your day job you apple fanboy. you bring out a three gs. wow your begging . terrible video and i dont like your voice or your tests. STOP doing videos please! your wasting youtube space.

  • @sonofipswich1 it was filmed in may - do a better video THEN start bitching like a 12 year old ho

  • d14ca Yep I know it's a beta. We'll see how the final version shapes up. I don't have an iphone yet - I'm waiting to see how it all pans out with these various phones so I've an interest in a few of them at the moment. Flash would be handy in a browser I agree but not if it causes problems. I'm no Apple fanboy - I buy the product that suits my needs best. Sensible eh?

  • @ytgibbo i would go with any android platform phone like the droid x, htc evo 4g (depending on if your town will support 4g) , and maybe the nexus one because its the first to have 2.2

  • froyo with flash enabled is faster then iphone lol check otha videos

  • Yep, you can see why Jobs doesn't go for Flash. Slow and buggy. HTML 5 all the way!

  • @ytgibbo Its a beta of course it's going to be buggy..... def can tell you own an iphone eh?

  • @ytgibbo hes a dumbass all the way

  • Is the flash installer compatible with android 2.1

  • Google is trying to conform their phones to the internet.

Apple is trying to conform the internet to their phone.

  • @chevyvan10 which one would you say is doing better

  • @chevyvan10 very wise comment lol thumbs up man

  • @chevyvan10 is that good for apple?

  • @chevyvan10 and google does better =)

  • @chevyvan10 and who is doing a better job at it? Apple is not, it has never. Apple doesnt go to yahoo and make them do a mobile page now does it?
