an mmofps like this one is too hardcore for the general population, they would just make it all stupid look what they did to bad company 2.. they added more health for the "hardcore" mode amongst a list of post beta nerfs to appease the kids on their forums- and then brag about this during their EA interviews.. the big companies really don't need to be involved in this level of gaming, let them play with their newest motion controls and leave the gaming to gamers

I LOVE!!!! WORLD WAR 2 GAMES. I LOVE MMORPG BUT THIS SHIT!!! THIS IS SAD, Why doenst creative, or ubisoft, or Blizzard Ent. Do a WWII MMORPG do you know how many people would play that thing it would be bigger than WOW. And im talking the works. Ranks, Planes, Countries, Uniforms, Weapons, Historical Battles, Ablity to turn the tide of war! It would be epic.

This game is worth it, especially if you are a WW2 fan like myself.

I have been in and out of the game for years and recently decided to make the big plunge money-wise and purchase a system that could play this game flawlessly. They are coming out with version 1.31, even if they didn't, I would still push the money forward to play. The game play is what this game is about, 1.31 will just make this game totally kick ass!!

Fun game if you can get past the little things in game that frustrate the crap out of me... tanks clipping through bunker walls and wiping out 4 defenders type of stuff. the infantry movement is weird as well :)

modern games like COD and Far Cry 2produce highly detailed images that use alot of triangles (polys) per image. this reduces the number of images they can draw in an area. in Battleground Europe, we call this "rendering distance". modern games have a rendering distance of 1 km or less. Battleground Europe has a rendering distance of 3 km (or is it 3.5,cant remember). every tree,bush,building, bullet,bomb is a 3d object that has to be rendered and tracked while connecting to 128 other players.
