I'll second that "saddest part" of The Last Waltz. That was a classic scene. Scorseze really worked that emotion out by softly questioning and just staying quiet for the response. I wasn't around for that era, but the first time I heard the Last Waltz I was an instant fan. The thing is its not just the music with the Band, they learned from Dillan that lyrics should mean something.
