Don't let your bird touch your tongue, or anything that's been in your mouth. You could give your bird bacteria that could kill it. I know you love your bird, please keep it to dry kisses only. Sweet bird.

But try to avoid touching it or it's feathers with the mouth and/or tongue.
Humans might infect the bird with stuff that is harmless to us but harmful to them.
