yes I was there during the earthquake, I think we got a blue T shirt for staying alive!

Great video! I was there from 1976 (I was 21) to 1979 , 5 of us (brits from Grimsby) worked in the port, we spend many nights at usaf taft drinking beer/movies ect. Did we know each other ,guys came to us to party as we had build our pub/bar with real english beer in our house?

If you drank at the USAF TAFT in BA during that time, we DID have drinks together. As a matter of fact, I MAY have been one of the guys who bought one of the Yamahas! I think I remember having one for a few months. Where you there during the earthquake?
