I don't think I've ever seen someone apply mascara like that at all. I've also never heard of wiping the "excess" off on a tissue. This was a bizarre tutorial and I can't say I recommend following it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you are not supposed to push foundation into your pores because your pores open up if you put on moisturizer (which I assume you have) then you are puytting foundation in, wouldn't that BREAK you out? I definetly don't do that, I am younger than you, well younger and I even know that!

This is probably the worst makeup video I have ever seen!!! First of all, concealer comes before foundation!! Second, if you r going to apply foundation, you can't just do it so little spots on your face, if you r going to apply it, apply it to your while face other wise you will look cakey, as if you do right now!!!

@HairMakeupLover101 You dot foundation onto certain areas of your face where you need more coverage then normal then you blend it over your whole face. Concealer you put on AFTER your foundation to avoid cake face by not over applying products to one spot. Your foundation might cover something you would of used concealer on if you put it on before your foundation.

are you serious? push the foundation into your pores. yh great tip lets just block our pores and make spots, just what we want. seriously she must work for a spot care company.

you are also supposed to use concealer a little lighter than your skin colour, not the same colour.

Dont take this the wrong way but I dont think you really want to press foundation into your pores because that would glog them causing pimples.

Its all really good except maybe the eyeshoadow, Ive never known anyone to put the darkest shade halfway ebtween the lashes and the eyebrow :-s

ok well i personally don't think all that makeup is necessary. She;s beautiful naturally and the eyeshadow overpowers her face. I would recommend concealer, powder, a light mineral wear eyeshadow (natural color like brown), lip gloss, mascara, and a tiny bit of eyeliner.

A foundation primer is put on under your foundation to help even skin tone and extend wear on the maekup. Lots of them have heavy shimmer in them to 'reflect' light, but really they just make you look like a disco ball.
