I did some crazy stuff in my life and one day was brought to my knees. My only hope at that point was to believe because there was no other way back up. I called on Jesus and instantly I felt free. I could give thousands of examples...the Mayans asked why there was a sun, so they invented a God as an answer to why the Sun is there, but now we know through SCIENCE and LOGIC why it is really there.

The examples could go on forever, but the main point is that God does not exist, he only exists in your mind so that aren't afraid of life and death.

I'm not a scientist. And I can tell you that God most likely doesn't exist...you know why I think that? Because I'm logical. It's almost absurd to think that a man rose from the grave, it's absurd to think that a "being"(God) is everywhere with everyone at all times. It's absurd to say that you've spoken to God or angels or ghosts. It's common sense that that just doesn't happen.

The good news is that we don't need to fear that day because of what Jesus Christ did for us so that we can be forgiven and stand before God without shame. If there was not such a thing as hell, Jesus would not have had to come in the first place.

@sebastianave As I explained, the default for humans is that we wish we didn't have to own up to our sin; therefore, we would rather not believe in a God if we can help it. But not believing He exists doesn't make it any less true. What shows us that there is a God is our own conscience which God placed within us to be a moral compass, and when this is violated, we know we've done wrong. Instead of denying the existance of God we should acknowledge this sin and ask for forgiveness.

Most people are sinners, even if they can't admit to it, they are. My girlfriend's mother is a die-hard Christian, yet she smokes Marijuana once a year and drinks a beer every once in little while and she still thinks she's going to Heaven. I'm fairly sure doing drugs is against the laws of God.

And you're right about most people being sinners- in fact, all people are sinners (Romans 3:23). That is why we all need Jesus to forgive us of our sins and save us from eternal damnation. About your girlfriend's mother, she might claim to be a Christian, but it is one's lifestyle that tells whether or not it is true. Matthew 7:20 says "by their fruit you will recognize them."

No. Sometimes scientists don't live to see the fruition of their work in their lifetime. Its not until decades or centuries later the discovery of what they believed in is realized by other scientists. Let me logically break this down for you. First, to understand what may have been before the universe we have to look at the direction our universe is heading, and reverse it. Since we live in an expanding and dying universe, logically we must conclude it had a beginning. Since it had a beginning, either something or someone created it, or it created itself. Since something that does not exist cannot create itself, we must logically conclude someone created it. Therefore, God is.
