Lara's version is better than the composer's (Dolly Parton) and much, much better than Whitney Houston's over-produced version.

However, the Italian version by Katherine Jenkins is stunningly beautiful, the best I have ever heard, and IMO, the definitive version. Katherine gives me goosebumps every time I hear her sing it. Check it out on YouTube.
