Even if N Korea were to launch a nuke at the US, there has already been a multiple tier missle defense system implemented by both Japan and the US. Secondly the united nations has already put large sanctions on the country and their economy is one of the worst examples in the world. Even if N Korea were to launch a nuke at the US, there has already been a multiple tier missle defense system implemented by both Japan and the US. Secondly the united nations has already put large sanctions on the country and their economy is one of the worst examples in the world. Unlike the Iraq war, where bush had trouble getting support from just a few countries, the entire UN has already agreed to band against N Korea with provacation, not to mention S Korea is fully capable on its own.

I made the same assertion as you at a press conference of the USPACOM last year and was quickly shot down by Lt. Gen Darnell. There just aren't enough US and South Korean forces to stop a full on assault by the KPA, and NATO doesn't have anything to do with Korea.

NK will be destroy if the war start, US and allied forces will launch an airstrike against NK military facility, the NK tubes will be approach by US stealth bomber followed by ssupreme air attacks by B-25 bomber planes the NK sky will be dark that day...and NK shore will be under heavy attack by the combine forces of japan and US...in the boundary of two koreas, the ground battle will be heavy and difficult for SK army and NK army..

US help iraqi people to liberate them from saddam, US stayed there for years to guide them, many US marines died there because of infamous and guerilla attack from lost command rebels iraqis, but in general, US fall downed saddam and executed him under the due process of law. ask many iraqis there, they will say, its better to live now before.

@serbetli100 Actually the US did that out of necessity, they were more concerned with Japan then USSR. And they didnt trust them either, hence why they used the atomic weapons purely as a show of force to warn USSR not to do anything against the US. to bad the USSR got atomic bombs a few years later ;D.
