Thank you for your message, however i have to point out that Bowser and D.K.Jr do have the fastest top speed in the SNES Super Mario Kart. I am happy to show you vids to see..
Although i am ranked one of the top in the World at SNES Super Mario Kart, it is time consuming, so i dont play MKWii to a pro level. I did highlight several times below that Nintendo's aim was to use a champion of the original version and a younger player for promotional purposes and attract new players.
I am terribly sorry for the offensisve language. I just couldn't see how you could be a champion when your using the slowest characters in the game.
Although Bowser was the slowest he was easier to controll thats why he seems to be "fast" fro you because he is easy to controll... I could still pwn your Niece though.
No probs, often people watch a vid without reading the description which explains the reason why it was made.
Bowser and D.K.Jr have the fastest top speed,however they have slow acceleration. Once at top speed, keep to shortest racing lines & you will make the best times. I have a Mario Circuit 1 video if you like to see?
Also a live clip of me racing a French Champion; & my niece's actual race videos show some good Bowser vs D.K.Jr if you like to see those?
WTF? I already know these tips. I been playing Mario Kart my entire life and I know this crap already and I say he barely knows how to play at all! I want tips on Mario Kart Wii on how to unlock expert ghost staff time trials and this isn't helping
Perhaps you didnt read my post below, Nintendo requested me to demo for new players.
The video is actually a 2nd part to one where i talk about my profession in Super Mario Kart and involvement in the series since 1992. If you hadnt seen that, it may look confusing why i was doing the demos.
They simply wanted to do a promotion only with an original SMK specialist, to boost sales and perhaps future gamers to do subsequent videos.
I will rename the video to Interview with Nintendo Part 2, as it was a continuation of the Super Mario Kart history talk in the first part.
This is just to avoid confusion in the reason for the production of this vid.
I also have Super Mario Kart videos uploaded, including my old British Record on Mario Circuit 1 driven in August 2000. Do check those out for some more background info, and the videos of my niece Leyla who was also interviewed the same day.
Nintendo were aware before filming that i am not a professional Mario Kart Wii player. They also requested me to display Mario Kart Wii as a very basic demo to beginners & for promotion purposes. Super Mario Kart (SNES) is the only game i play to a professional level and this was highlighted in the first video.
Leyla's video targets a younger audience by promoting her Super Mario Kart skills.
Hope that clears it up a bit as a few were unsure of the aims they had in the in the videos :)

@budf1 That's 'cause the acceleration was slow for both Bowser and Donkey Kong Jr.. Toad and Peach are not that fast.

Cool stuff, it is a great game, i prefered the controls in MKDS a little though, though Super Mario Kart has the best handling for me.
Have you owned all of the Mario Kart games before? I have them all but havent played Mario Kart 64 or Double Dash in a while.
