@valarangel Yawn deeply and you'll feel it going up. It's the soft tissue that the back of your tongue leans on against when you swallow. It can be consciously manipulated, but it may take some practice for some people.

i've always felt that christina knows how to properly place her larynx but she raises it in order to achieve the sound she likes. which is throaty and screechy. I thinks its cause ive heard her do quite a few full resonant notes.... i think.

@ BZBlaner i dont understand how people dont know about tongue placement and keeping an open throat thats the first thing i was taught in vocal lessons lmao my teacher says the tongue should gently be resting on the bottom teeth slightly arched and about the jaw placement we did alot of exercises with the tongue

And he has also said high larynx is part of the correct belting technique. He calls himself a belter but his voice is like a less talented Justin Bieber, imagine a 30+year old man with pitch problems trying to sound like a woman but without the high notes and without male low notes either, and out of rage calling my range (all of it, even the bass notes) 100% falsetto, even when my C6 is so much fuller than his fave's attempt at those notes.

@babylovemeonemoretim Christina is the classic example of singing with a high larynx. The higher she goes in pitch, the more elevated it becomes.

As for the low notes, I hear no indication of a pushed larynx. She just reaches those notes by breathing, hence the fogginess.
