@messa5 someone in that arena obviously has lost someone special in their life at some point you would hope everyone would have respect but to see that silence is amazing in the type of world we live in now.
During the off-season, Luc bought himself a powerful motorcycle. Apparently it was too powerful -- he lost control of the bike and rode headlong into traffic.
No alcohol or drugs were involved, from what I've read.
it had nothing to do with being too powerful. he was taking a sharp turn and driving under 35 mph but the road was wet from a rain storm and the bike slid out from under him forcing him into the opposite lane where a semi was coming at too fast of a rate to slow down. it was not too powerful for him.
that was a crazy atmosphere during the game, but you could have literally heard a pin drop 3 blocks away from the arena during that moment of silence.
On behalf of all Canucks fans we'd like to thank Pittsburgh fans for the extreme class you've all showed! That was extremely silent and respectful. Good luck to the Pens!
Tonight was the Vancouver Canuck's official tribute to LB. It was really sad seeing his Mom and girlfriend there. Earlier in the day Team1040 radio was interviewing his girlfriend who was in Vancouver for the tribute and her voice was so quiet and sad. It was hard not to get a lump in my throat listening to her. Such a tough one for the people of Shippagan and the surrounding area.
rest in peace Luc Bourdon you will be missed by the Canucks and the Pens you will be with us and hopefully be with the Canucks or Penguins when either of us win the stanley cup this year.
who ever was the one at the end that yelled something has no heart

One of Luc's best friends, Kris Letang, plays for the Pens. The fans and the community were well aware of the Luc's accident.
RIP Luc. God Bless.

watch fleury too. they played together in the world juniors. he looks pretty upset... :(

Kris and Luc were best friends and roommates in juniors.
If anyone was wondering why Kris isn't shown it's because he skipped game three to go to Luc's funeral.
