Loving to see this, reminds me of being home. There was a sound that my memory added to the soundtrack: when the temple burned and everyone was grieving for loved ones, reflecting the year, when everyone was silent. Then we all heard the "knik...k..k...knickedyknick" of the heavy wood of the temple's structure burning and bursting. It was that moment of being present and focussed there. Thank you for reminding me of that moment of being there.

Party on little burners. I'm glad some are still finding the energy for this. It's definitely one of the greatest parties out there, but I feel there's some confusion about its changing the world propaganda. Glad the artists are still holding together though, but I'm also puzzled that a whole organization is generating $15 million a year on the back of all these artists and other participants that make this event worthwhile.

I will be trying to attend burning man 2011 and I gotta say, I'm a bit scared and also excited. any other suggestions besides what I can find on the website left over from 2010? Seems like if I want to get together a responsible camp site I need a lot of stuff....

@natep1098 - Search for "virgin Burner advice", especially on Tribe.net - you will find tons of advice! One of the best things to do is go with veterans, but as long as you have an open mind and lots of water, you'll be fine!
