Thanks Derek, it was doubly disappointing in that I had all my gear ready for a 5 day camping/cycling tour to Kingston scheduled for 2 weeks later on my brand new touring bike.
Oh well, c'est la vie. Starting physiotherapy on the 17th so I shouldn't gripe. From now on I walk over railway crossings.
Any cyclists nightmare. I hope it doesn't deter you from further ventures. Got to get right back in the saddle as they say. In the meantime enjoy your recuperation and get well soon my friend.
Darling, PLEASE leave your camera going next time you wipe out. It would so much more exciting for your friends to actually see the accident.
