NO CANON PLEASE DO NOT PUT A SWIVEL SCREEN ON THE MKIII! all it needs is auto-focus, more AF-points, bigger pixels (keeping it at 21mp), needs a 5.5fps, and if possible....a built-in wireless tether for lightroom and aperture.

@marquesbrownlee I personaly don't like the 60D very much, ergonomically. The swivel screen just gives it a feeling of less quality, knowing that the hinges that holds the screen gets loose after thousands of usage. And plus the 60D just looks like a high-tech version of canon's powershot with a swivel screen. Other than that the 60D is great.

1. Don't change the name to 6D, leave it at 5D.

2. faster and smarter auto-focus and more focus points

3. Keep the mega-pixels at 21, but enlarge the pixel sizes 40%-%50, which will automatically decrease noise at higher ISO

4. Increase the frames per second to, at least, 5.5fps

5. upgrade to digic5 processor

6. Highspeed internal wireless tether transmitter for Lightroom,aperture,photoshop, etc.

It'll have a Digic V processor, Digic IV is done. The 1DX has 2 Digic Vs... Auto-focus for video is a big thing to look forward to too. I hope they don't over do it with the Megapixels... more then 20 isn't necessary unless you plan on doing life size full body shot prints or maybe billboards. Wish they had 1080p w/ 60fps... but that won't happen as well as 4k video.

Nothing can go for more than 4G of video. See... the 4G limitation isn't on the camera. It's the filesystem, FAT, that's used on memory cards.

@marquesbrownlee I meant the 4 Gigabyte limitation of a single file in FAT32 or FAT(16) filesystem. Therefore, in my T2i, I can only record a continuous Full HD video for approximately 12mins and then stops because the filesystem has reached its limit for that video file.

But then if you meant that the 5D MkIII should have the ability to chop files into 4Gs while continuously recording uninterrupted... then that would be a nice feature.

The only camera that I've seen with a 4k video was the RED series cameras. But that would be sweet if the camera could use the full framed videos. But the video would be CRAZY huge and the card couldn't handle the data transfer rate....

I don't want camera with 30MPX... Then your Raw files weights 100 MB and your JPEG file 20 MB. And plus you have to buy a bigger memory card, bigger HDD, bigger processor to work those photos.... And that will cost you hundreds of dollars to upgrade your workstation.

I'd rather have a 15-18 MPX, which is far enought to print in A3 format, but much better in low light and in FPS.

The ideal compromise is to be able to control the size of your JPEG .. AND your RAW file.

Most film makers are starting to move away from DSLR and moving to the Panasonic AF100 and Sony FS100 and F3.

All the new Canon cameras will have the digic 5.

I think some pro's will still use the full frame cameras for super shallow depth of field.
