  • do you know he worships the devil?!!

  • @MrJeggus IF you live in America YOU CAN AFFORD it you whiner. People in America have NO idea of what it is like to be poor, as they are dependent on the government to feed them. Our children are obese and dying of diabtetes from overeatting !! PAY UP, everyone. Consumption tax!!

  • @TheYoungTurdz Sorry. but I've stopped debating with stupid people a long time ago it just isn't worth the time and energy1 Besides, arguing with someone who is just nine years out from being a tenager is well below my pay grade!

  • this is all great and terrific of him, but this argument's being framed incorrectly. nobody's proposing to TAKE money from the rich. a FEW very wealthy people have been gaming the system and our politicians, so they've been under-taxed for decades - the lowest tax rate in 60 years. on top of that they've been moving industry overseas without penalty. our schools, roads, bridges, and environment are going to hell and people are no longer asking to set it right. we're DEMANDING it.

  • Hey Jay, why don't you just go outside and help people. You will see plenty in need for help.

  • If anyone actually listens to this illuminati devil worshipping puppet then your a fool

  • I agree there needs to be an open account of where the taxes are allocated...

  • IT'S THE POOR THAT MAKE MILLIONAIRES.....KEEP BEING GREEDY AND YOU WILL END UP WITH LESS AND LESS AND LESS AND LESS!

  • He says "I wouldn't mind paying more taxes if it went to the things that really mattered" Then if he really means that then he can fill out a few boxes on his own tax forms and do that!!! It doesn't mean my taxes should get any more higher! We don't need an act of congress to make this kind of change! WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE CELEBRITIES THINKING! If they wanna pay more then go on and do that! But I a part of the 99% wont!

  • If spending were cut and waste and fraud managed, we wouldn't need to raise taxes.

However most people wouldn't mind paying taxes IF the government didn't waste it!!! Everyone should pay some taxes IF they live in America. EVERYONE!!

  • @TheYoungTurdz not if they can't afford to.

  • @greghmn If they live in America THEY CAN AFFORD to. There is room in everyones budget to be a part of America. If not, get out and off the dole.

  • @TheYoungTurdz hey dipshit, i'm16 and have no source of income. i can't pay income tax. people who don't have jobs can't. people who need to FEED THEIR FAMILIES AND LOOK OUT FOR THE HEALTH OF THEMSELVES AND HAVE MEDICAL PROBLEMS THAT ARE KILLING THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE UNINSURED AND HAVE A BULLSHIT MINIMUM WAGE JOB THEY JUST GOT LAID OFF FROM AND PEOPLE WHO ARE OUT ON THE STREETS AND LITTLE KIDS LIVING WITHOUT PARENTS AND DEALING WITH THE FOSTER SYSTEM WHERE THEY ARE BULLIED should not pay taxes.

  • @greghmn Hey lazy ass!!! When I was 16 I had created my own jobs starting at 14!! What is wrong with you? What is your disability? Get your lazy ass up, find a need and fill it. THAT IS HOW JOBS ARE CREATED!! Open your eyes and LOOK for the opportunity and FILL IT!! Freaking lazy ass, dependent on the government fool. It isn't only your fault. You can blame, if you prefer, the union failed union led government indoctrination centers, aka public schools.

  • @TheYoungTurdz yeah, i've worked before too. and you know what? what do tax dollars go towards? the GOVERNMENT. so they can HELP THOSE IN NEED.

  • @TheYoungTurdz you sick fuck.

  • @greghmn Assuming you are dependent on the government, what is your excuse?

  • @TheYoungTurdz if there were no government, we would have no roads, no minimum wage, terrible working conditions, no public schools (which by the way are there so people who don't want to be brainwashed by religion or can't afford to otherwise because they already PAY TAXES), no infrastructure, basically nothing would ever get done. you yourself are dependent on the government. and you know, judging by your answers, see next comment...

  • @greghmn judging by your bullshit answers which i can only interpret as bahhhh, bahhh, you're a republicon, so the people you voted for aren't going to do anything about layoffs. the people who are laid off are the people who can't get jobs after that, and live off of your hard-earned money. it's not the poor's fault. don't look down the ladder for the problem. look up. they're the ones shitting on you, according to the laws of gravity. stop watching fox news and pull your head out of your ass.

  • @greghmn Typical response. The government has over reached and should stick to paving roads. I wouldn't brag about the failed union led governnment indoctrination centers, as they are an obvious fail. We have NO leaders coming from public education. Only a bunch of kids who are undereducated and are unable to compete.

Is it any wonder China is kicking our ass and Obama has borrowed so much from them? NO! Our governemnt is failing.

  • Knowing Jay-Z and his kind, he's not going to pay those taxes he advocates.

  • But JAY-Z...YOU PAY NO TAXES..YOU ARE A LITTLE WELFARE NIG NOG LIVING OFF THE HARD WORK OF OTHERS. SO MUCH FOR YOUR "IDEALISM"

  • @871yt umm hmm. And I am certain your response is reasoned, measured and vetted. Just saying', from the intelligence and tolerance within your words.

  • @rcologne1 "Tolerance" is just a code word for the same falied liberal policies that

have destroyed every American city "Tolerance" means the ability to look beyond the lies

the evasions and the failures of the liberal left, affirmative action, forced "equality" etc.

THAT is what "tolerance" and "reasoning" mean in reality

  • The reason why "the rich" are paying a larger and larger percentage of the total tax bill is because more and more people have slipped out of the middle class and into poverty. That statistic that Republicans love to throw out is not evidence of "socialism," but rather of increasing income inequality in favor of their campaign contributors. Shame the Democrats can't see or are ignoring the logic.

  • @bedrosyan11. You fool, the democrats do the EXACT same thing.

  • @smwvikings44

Kind of you to call me a fool. What, pray tell, do the democrats do? I haven't heard a single democrat cite the statistic that the rich pay a larger share of the tax bill. Please find me a citation. Otherwise, you're the fool.

  • @bedrosyan11

The deterioration of the middle class is a serious problem. Socialism does not work efficiently in the face of economic inequality. It's been shown by simple statistics that countries with larger economic inequality (small middle class) perform worse according to Global Index's. Not only does the lower class suffer, but the upper class will still have higher infant mortality, lower life span's, etc. than the upper class in a country with more economic equality.

  • @RythmoScotian Socialism doesn't work efficiently in any circumstances. It's able to exist only as a cancer tumor on a thriving capitalistic system, until it grows too large and inevitably kills the whole economy.

  • @tuntitommosille Here's how I look at it. The government is here to help the people right? Any government requires at least a little bit of socialism. Do you not pay taxes that go towards the infrastructure of the country? I know your saying that a lot of social programs can slow down the progress of a rapidly progressing capitalist society, but if we're all pooling money together to build roads, why not pool some more money to build hospitals...

  • @RythmoScotian If we're going to be socialist at all, we might as well put our money into the things that matter. I personally think there should be NO GOVERNMENT at all. But if the taxman is gonna take my money, it better damn well be going to programs that help people, and not towards fancier street lights in the rich part of town, or bombs to be dropped on brown people. Those things are not an efficient use of money. And what do you define as a thriving system anyway.

  • @tuntitommosille In closing, I agree that if socialism isn't utilized correctly then it's a bit waste of everyone's money. But if there is a system with economic equality, then I think things like medicare and social assistance programs should be initiated. this is going to sound contradictory but socialism works well when it isn't really needed, but when it is needed most is when it FAILS. And in the US you guys are in a funny situation where you are really starting to NEED it

  • @RythmoScotian

Excuse me, did you just try to straw man me into an advocate of socialism? Why did you say the obvious comment that socialism doesn't work? Are you implying that I called for socialism? I pointed out that the middle class is shrinking and as a result so is overall tax revenue, with the rich paying a larger share even though their taxes remain low. Then you feel the need to remind me that socialism doesn't work. Kindly explain yourself.

  • @bedrosyan11 First of all my comment was not intended to disagree with you, or make you seem a certain way. I just thought what I had to say pertained to what you had just said. Regardless if you are an advocate of socialism or not, what I was trying to say is Socialism performs well in countries with economic EQUALITY. Socialism does NOT work well in countries with a large gap between rich and poor, because then the rich end up paying for all the poor people's social programs.

  • @RythmoScotian I hear you, thanks.

  • @bedrosyan11 And on top of that, in situations where you have an upper class that is well off, and a lower class that needs help, it is very hard to bring the lower class out of poverty once they are used to the social programs. You can see it in the US and Canada, where entire neighborhoods or towns have stayed poor. They have all the social assistance they could dream off, but these families stay poor. Socialism works well under certain circumstances.

  • Thanks JayZ you are a true and awesome gentleman.

  • @DaveListerDwarfer asslicker =)

  • I'm a big fan of Jay-Z but he is absolutely wrong here. Its easy for him to speak because he does not operate a business and does not understand the regulatory market that employers and businesses must work under. People think, act, and invest for him. If he wants to pay more taxes then he should make a contribution to the IRS or any charity of his choice. That's freedom - the ability to spend your money any way you see fit without having the government interfere with your earnings.

  • @CrazyShaljan Why do people keep making this argument? I've heard it so many times. It usually goes something like "hey if Warren Buffet wants to pay more he can." It's a bogus argument. Most people won't voluntarily pay more taxes and you know it. The Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 were incredibly irresponsible. It's time to roll them back. That's not socialism. It's reasonable, progressive taxation.

  • @concretetundra No it's not. The same Warren Buffet who advocates paying more taxes has been fighting the IRS for years when it comes to his firm's taxes.

  • I am no fan of Jay Z, but my ears ache when I hear Tax Me More. Why only do it through governments, then hope&pray legislatures see fit to perpetuate the programs? The only way to make sure your money goes to causes you believe good is to manage it yourself. Can't go it alone? Network.

  • Jay-Z makes logical sense to me. Unfortunately others in his position game the system and the GOP routinely does their bidding.

  • 1% needs to pay their fair share!

  • @hitmanhart670 They already pay more then a "fair share" the top one percent pays 1/3 of the individual taxes, which is not a "fair share." So don't call it that. Plus the mega rich like Buffet are asking to be taxed more. They already pay a lot, we just want them to pay more so they can help support everyone.

  • @Zipozig a "fair share" does not have to be a fixed amount as your "1/3" suggests especially since the top on percent also controls about 2/5 of the countries wealth. It seems obvious to me that if a group controls 2/5 of the wealth then they should contribute 2/5 of the taxes as well.

    1/3= .33 and

    2/5= .4 so

    .33<.4

  • The rich should pay more taxes to help the poor.

  • @lambsquad17 no u idiot thats nmot the problem as racist as it may sound its the blacks & mexicians are slowing the progress look at asians for fuck sakes they are immigrants come to america and have the highest average salaries in america blacks and mexicians are lazy people u want a better life fucking put the gun down stay at library and study study and work hard stop bs the rich are also fucking the pooor but giving money to africa is a waste when here in america we got problems

  • @dojOdRiFTeR Well said. Your punctuation and grammar show that you are a person of fine reasoning and higher intellect. For fuck's sake, if you're going to complain about anything, please do it with some degree of integrity.

  • @rcologne1 said the liberal arts major

  • @lambsquad17 Mabey everyone should pay more taxes to go to the people who really need it and not punishing somone for having good luck. Rest assure that not every rich person has to work to get alot of money.

  • @lambsquad17 The rich already pay half of their income to the government. None of that money helps the poor! The vast majority of it goes to foreign interventionism and banks

  • @lambsquad17 The poor should STFU about what other people should do with their own money.

  • @tuntitommosille they should ehh

  • @lambsquad17 no they shouldnt. they earn it. the poor should pay more taxes as an incentive to work harder. your thoughts are the reason why our country has the largest amount of debt and the highest rate of unemployment.... socialism kills countries.

  • @SpencerYoungTV Poor should pay more as incentive to "work harder" You are an idiot with no clue how the real world works. If that was the case immigrant mexicans would be rich beyond their wildest dreams. My dad would have been able to send me to college unscathed, instead of me having 50,000 in student loans. Your thoughts and reasons are why the former United States is in the shape it is today. Greed and Corruption rule. The United States of Corporate America.

  • @loupac1 All im saying is, if someone works their ass off to become successful, we shouldnt punish them by making them paying rediculous amounts of taxes. Ill be more than 100k i debt from student loans by time i finish school, i didnt get a penny from financial aid either. But I will use that as an incentive to work hard and not be lazy. I'm not going to sit around begging for government handouts. Sorry, I have more pride than that.

  • @SpencerYoungTV Good luck Spencer, your grammar sucks.

  • @lambsquad17 Oh hell no, in this generation a lot of "poor people" have flat screen Tv's, computers, a car, food on the table, a cell phone, and a roof over their head. Now Americas definition of being poor is driving a 1993 Ford Taurus in the year 2012 and having a low paying job. That's not poor, to me being poor is being homeless living on the streets. I'm not going to pay more taxes because somebody that drives a Ford Taurus isn't happy and wants to drive a BMW...

  • Only agree to paying more taxes if its for a good cause. ....

  • This Woody Allen-inflectioned camel's right.

  • Really? Cause I need about tree fiddy.

  • yeah
