@SpunSeaLion I would recommend playing MGS3 if your concerned about the story, this is the 1st MGS in the timeline. Im not tetraninja but i highly recommend you buy this game (its awesome) If you play MGS1 , MGS2 you might not understand the story so go for MGS3 then you will :)
