i seen the other video and idk cuz i seen those hit 14.2 most of the days and that mustang you have was the worst V6 190hp thats less then the H22a (prelude motor) 200hp, the K20A2 200hp i mean 4cyl have more power. Now the new V6.. thats better great power and MPG whiched they would of done that with your body style.
@nohatn i understand what your saying about it not being as strong of a v6 as the new ones, but... take into consideration that ten years prior... V8 cars only had about 200hp. a stock Camaro RS (305) had right at 190hp, and a stock Z28 220hp... that was in 1992. so, sure its not the fastest car on the road, but even a v8 will have problems against a v6 from time to time.... dont believe me.... think back to the 90's when 3000gt's were on a rampage... and how about those supras.....

This is just for those who are curious, it is th 7.5" rear end, if you pause at 0:50 you can see. it has a flat bottom on the diff cover. 8.8" have more of an oval shape to them, its a very subtle difference. Hes just lucky to have a properly working 7.5" haha. Nice car man, love the color (mines amazon green yuck) keep it clean. Looks great.

@everettemetoyer I might be wrong on this, but if you bought it with that rear axle, i think they changed it out because i didnt think the V6's came with posi rear end. But i might be wrong. I have a 02 GT and i love it to death. Great car man. Love the exhaust.

I have a similar setup, Pypes X-Pipe with no cats, Flowmasters 40 Series, Camaro CME Tips, and BBK CAI just like the MAC in the fenderwell. Never really thought my stang could take on my Dads 350z haha. Sick mustang man.

@TheMrhoneycutt no its not for a gt its a complete dual exhaust conversion kit for a v6 mustang so its made to bolt up right to the stock mid pipe on a v6 it was a perfect fit

@everettemetoyer I agree with that, except the springs. You ALWAAYS want to get exhaust before any more intake. So get a exhaust, and a good intake. Preferably cold air intake, a good brand is K&N. After those two some more things to look into would be clutch, headers, and supercharger. After your finished HP wise a couple good things to look into would be camber kits for more stability and looks, springs, interior, and tires/rims. That's how I would start it out, personally.

@elmariel502 there is a point to both, so you are wrong. Nice job though. V6 is lighter therefore better handling, and a 2wd pickup is for a sport truck, not everyone want to off road a truck.

i believe that if its not a v8, its not a stang. but their getting quicker and quicker now. if you havent heard, the 2011 v6 mustangs have the 3.7l and its making 305hp. the 2010 mustang GT 4.6l v8 is making 315hp. but its not always about hp. just saying. but anyways... i like the sound of the borla exhaust, i kinda dont like the look of the dual 2.5 inch exhaust.

Sounds sick... I got a 3.8 camaro and the guy that had it before me took the catalytic converter out and the engine light went on and it was giving me a lean burn code. I got worse gas milage and it didnt run great. Have you run into anything like this? Everyone tells me modern cars are built to work with the converter and taking them off doesnt do any good? your thoughts?
i put the exhaust on my self and i did not have to weld anything at all with the BORLA exhaust it came with great clamps and everything need to put the exhaust on thats what i loved most about the BORLA but and it came with istructions to

Hi thanks for the comment on my car and as for the 2 wheels burning it shcked me to but no i dont have the Tlock on my car both wheels dont always spin just sometimes all v6 mustangs do that but on my GT both wheels spin all the time i wish my v6 would do that but getting a Tlock would fix that problem
cold sir intake $180, BORLA system $980, Lowering springs $200 that right there came up to $1,360 and the rims and tiers were $1,800 but you can get the BORLA system now for about $600
yes i did put it on my self it was kind of easy to install it but the hard part was getting off the old exhaust because i did have a lift to put the car on i had to use a saw to cut the back muffler off in order to get to get the pipe from around the rear end you will need an empact tool to make your job easy and tow ramps to lift your back end of the car up once you get under the car you will see where everything gose all v6 mustangs already have all the connections and holes for dual exhaust
Hey. Now ive ben haveing a problem figureing this out. I would like to take off my cats. I live in Fl so we dont have emissions. But people tell me that there is a sensor that can tell if you cats arent there. So obviously its after that cats. But any how, I herd if you remove them, the sensors will change you air fuel ratio and it will mess your motor up. I would like to know what you did to get around this problem. Any imput will help.
ok i will be happy to answer your question on the cats i took my car to a muffler shop and i had them to remove the cats and weld strate pipes in place of the old ones then they had to drilled holes into the strate pipe and weld a threaded nut onto them then they screwed the sencer back into the strate pype so the sencers could still read the exhaust and function normal
who in the world told u that!!!! U can remove them and it wont hurt ur engine but you will hurt the environment. Yes ur check engine light will come on but there are things out there that u can delete them. Oh and the sensors is the O2 sensors.
The 3.9L V6 was only made in 2004 for the anniversary. It only add roughly 2-3HP compared to the 3.8. It is the same motor so any part for the 3.8 will be interchangeable for the 3.9

haha they didn't make the 3.9 until 2004 for their 40th anniversary series. 06 and up are all 4.0 v6's, 03 and down are 3.8 like mine. maybe you have an 04 non anniversary edition?

@everettemetoyer I agree with that, except the springs. You ALWAAYS want to get exhaust before any more intake. So get a exhaust, and a good intake. Preferably cold air intake, a good brand is K&N. After those two some more things to look into would be clutch, headers, and supercharger. After your finished HP wise a couple good things to look into would be camber kits for more stability and looks, springs, interior, and tires/rims. That's how I would start it out, personally.

i believe that if its not a v8, its not a stang. but their getting quicker and quicker now. if you havent heard, the 2011 v6 mustangs have the 3.7l and its making 305hp. the 2010 mustang GT 4.6l v8 is making 315hp. but its not always about hp. just saying. but anyways... i like the sound of the borla exhaust, i kinda dont like the look of the dual 2.5 inch exhaust.

Sounds sick... I got a 3.8 camaro and the guy that had it before me took the catalytic converter out and the engine light went on and it was giving me a lean burn code. I got worse gas milage and it didnt run great. Have you run into anything like this? Everyone tells me modern cars are built to work with the converter and taking them off doesnt do any good? your thoughts?

Hi thanks for the comment on my car and as for the 2 wheels burning it shcked me to but no i dont have the Tlock on my car both wheels dont always spin just sometimes all v6 mustangs do that but on my GT both wheels spin all the time i wish my v6 would do that but getting a Tlock would fix that problem

cold sir intake $180, BORLA system $980, Lowering springs $200 that right there came up to $1,360 and the rims and tiers were $1,800 but you can get the BORLA system now for about $600

yes i did put it on my self it was kind of easy to install it but the hard part was getting off the old exhaust because i did have a lift to put the car on i had to use a saw to cut the back muffler off in order to get to get the pipe from around the rear end you will need an empact tool to make your job easy and tow ramps to lift your back end of the car up once you get under the car you will see where everything gose all v6 mustangs already have all the connections and holes for dual exhaust

Hey. Now ive ben haveing a problem figureing this out. I would like to take off my cats. I live in Fl so we dont have emissions. But people tell me that there is a sensor that can tell if you cats arent there. So obviously its after that cats. But any how, I herd if you remove them, the sensors will change you air fuel ratio and it will mess your motor up. I would like to know what you did to get around this problem. Any imput will help.

ok i will be happy to answer your question on the cats i took my car to a muffler shop and i had them to remove the cats and weld strate pipes in place of the old ones then they had to drilled holes into the strate pipe and weld a threaded nut onto them then they screwed the sencer back into the strate pype so the sencers could still read the exhaust and function normal

who in the world told u that!!!! U can remove them and it wont hurt ur engine but you will hurt the environment. Yes ur check engine light will come on but there are things out there that u can delete them. Oh and the sensors is the O2 sensors.

The 3.9L V6 was only made in 2004 for the anniversary. It only add roughly 2-3HP compared to the 3.8. It is the same motor so any part for the 3.8 will be interchangeable for the 3.9

haha they didn't make the 3.9 until 2004 for their 40th anniversary series. 06 and up are all 4.0 v6's, 03 and down are 3.8 like mine. maybe you have an 04 non anniversary edition?
