Just looking..As a former student of CHS, I am moved. Choir was not for just geeks and you had to be GOOD to get in. I loved Mr. Leland Andres' choice of accapella music to truly bring out our voices. My Junior year, he wrote a song in "triple Choir".. We would go out into the audience and sing in 3 different choirs.. He was not afraid of Christian music, as most of the accapella was Latin and.. Obviously,.. Religious. Never had a complaint...
Did you cut off the ending of the song, or did the band actually stop after the alma mater? I thought it was really good but didn't like the ending all that much. And the trumpet solo was too fast in my opinion, should have been drawn out. But it was played well though (note and tone wise)
Proud to say that my son was a senior in the percussion section. This was one of the most moving performances given during his four years with the band. Awesome!
