I really wish ABS-CBN would stop using the guy who provides the narration in their movie trailers. His voice is so annoying and typically kills the opportunity to make a connection with the audience. Just use touching captions and the emotional impact of the soundtrack. With that said, I have no freakin' idea what this movie is about after watching the trailer. They dance, they cry, some possible domestic violence, and then dance in the fields. Yet the move is called In The Name of Love?

You can adjust the chroma, gamma, contrast and brightness digitally with a computer, yet we still only use low quality film for our movies. We need to improve the creative direction, that's all. Simplicity can go a long way if done right. Start by not having a narrator all the time in the trailers.

We use computers now to enhance some of our movies and dramas, but mainly for special effects. Why don't we use them to improve the quality of the video? I'm all for supporting our efforts, but we can't just sit here and just accept a vanilla effort. Progress means continually improving like how cars are built today. We need to wake up and smell the champorado.

Those are some of the best hollywood movies of their genre.
