  • What amuses me most about the myriad claims about the alleged unethical practices of Vector Marketing Corp. is how frequently and rapidly the dialogue of the critics/zealots against Cutco degenerate into swearing and cussing. Whatever the truth is on this, it is hard to take seriously people with such disgusting language (often used as shortcuts to thinking) trying to take the moral high ground.

  • YOU SHIT FUCK

  • PS if your knife broke because you were chopping or doing anything cooking related with it you send it back and they replace it for free of you dragged it behind a car and ruined it on purpose then you send it back and they give you a new one for have the retail price!

  • I Was actually Just in there Factory in Olean NY ALL of Cutcos knifes are made hear in the USA there are a couple other really small products that are not but the vast majority and all the knifes are all USA

  • Yep Vector Sucks,

they Keep paying me for hard work

Sending me all over the world

And all the people that buy products are really happy with them.

The Fat guy is funny thou...

  • I actually am super excited that I have Cutco, they are the best knives that I have ever used. I got my first set when I joined Vector in 2008. I have been here ever since and have seen all the aspects of the company. As a sales rep and as a manager I can't tell everyone how amazing this company is. I recommend this job to anyone!!

I have maintain my honesty and integrity while providing for my wife and son. Great opportunity!!!!

  • You could end the suffering of this poor whale. Allow the LordBaruch to die and release him from his pain. Earth is a land of suffering and sorrow caught in a spiral of death. To destroy--to heal--Earth I will become the Chosen one. With your help.

Do you not want to heal Earth's sorrow? Let death carry you off into peaceful slumber.

Pitiful Mortal. Your hope ends here! And your meaningless existence with it!!

You wish to stop me? By all means! Try!

  • @dino988 really? because i live in a poor area and sold over $4000 my first week.

  • @KennyCarlisle good for you but i just have a problem with a company who gets people exited because you think you have a job when they call you up and they dont give you any details then they just try to manipulate their employees..i went their my first day and walked out the next..im lucky to have found a "real" career shortly after the B.S. they tried telling me...and buying a 150 starter kit is retarded..not for me

  • Cutco does say it wont rust.

Steel used : HIGH CARBON SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL

    DOESNT RUST PIT OR CORRODE

  • my knives came with a car.

  • I don't know why but I just don't trust a man that pops his lips when he's talking.... he usually turns out to be a liar... not saying that u r but the lip popping..... lol

  • question dickweed...why do so many people hate vector and cutco? its not just a few its alot..answer me that

  • @dino988 Because it takes hard work to make your self work, you cant just show up and collect a pay check, its a simple program so we accept alot of ppl, and they tell us they will work hard, but alot of times they dont and or dont follow the program so they end up "firing" them selfs as they are independent reps

  • @MrThebeach11 have fun having doors slammed in your face..this economy is screwed right now..noone wants to waste their money on knives that cut thru pennies..wow thats amazing!!! RONCO knives can cut thru diamonds lol

  • @dino988

you don't go door to door, all customers are referred personally by others who have agreed to have a demonstration in their home, ergo no door slamming. Sales have actually increased for the past few years even though "the economy is screwed right now," and 17 million+ customers do want to buy.

  • all i gotta say is that i start training tomorrow. im ex army and did time in prison. if this is a scam i will beat his ass senseless. just saying

  • @aszkicker2011 What do you think now?

  • @aszkicker2011 we have the highest rating the Better Business Bureau gives out, we have been around for 30+ year, we do 250,000,000 annually, are rated by the Wall Street Journal as a top job for a college student because of the quality of our training, which is taught as a 300+ level class in universities around the country, check us out on Modern Marvels, and the Science channel How its Made... good luck man

  • It bothers me that they are always hiring people. It was way to suspicious and seems "too good to be true" I quit a few days after fuck Vector.

  • CutCo knives are a great product, however Vector Marketing is a horrible company

  • This is a POS company thanks for posting They wanted me to pay 180$ for the set and sell it wtf am i a drug dealer. No body buys knive sets in 2010 unless its a laser cutting meat kind of knive.

  • @joshchoe please elaborate? brianwashing has multiple meanings. yyou can say schools brainwash society, our political system is brainwashing us, please be more specific, I know you wrote this 3-4 months ago but please elaborate.

btw I've worked with vector for about 9 months now, I personally suck at selling, but I find the information they give is excellent, plus the knives kickass and I do use them everyday, despite being in college with a meal plan in a barely eatable caf

  • i work for vector and i love my job. what college kid wouldn't like making $100+ a week for just showing people knives. if you're not making money you're not working hard enough. aka NO MOTIVATION. so i can pay for college and you can work your self to death at a dead in job trying to make ends meet. have fun!

  • i work for vector and i love my job. what college kid wouldn't like making $100+ a week for just showing people knives. if you're not making money you're not working hard enough. aka NO MOTIVATION. so i can pay for college and you can work your self to death at a dead in job trying to make ends meet. have fun!

  • vector/ cutco isnt nothing but a bunch of brainwashing cock suckers

  • fuck vector marketing

  • Are you fkn kidding me? Did you just make a whole video defending over-priced knives? lol...get the fk outta here

  • Hell yea dude these haters know absolutely nothing about the product itself.

  • People....I personally work for cutco....thei really great knives, they'll last forever, if not we personally will sharpen them for free....BUT its a BITCH to make appointments, you have to rely on yourself to make appointments to help the company....its bullsh*t, HOWEVER your base pay is 16.75 an hour, and you get incentive if you actually sell stuff, which happens pretty often...overall Cutco is a pretty good job if your very motivated and willing to make ALOT of phone calls.

  • FOREVER GUARANTEE TRUMPS ALL! END OF STORY! I almost forgot MADE in U.S.A

  • RebelWrestler45 ...they do not rust..i come from a family of pure german chefs and profession cooks..and we have had Cutco since 1951..been ran through dishwashers, beat to death..and they are still perfect..i have one of the knives from 1951 and present it to my customers..please leave this video.

  • 440A steel will oxidize, as will any stainless steel with any significant carbon content. All martensitic steel will rust under certain conditions, even those with much higher chromium content than 440A. Anybody who knows anything about knives, chemistry, or simple metallurgy would know this. Oh, and by the way, I have a full set of Cutco; sold it for a year. My roommate left my French Chef in the sink for a day. The tang has rust spots on it, as does the spine, and bevel.

  • You're so right! my Dad sold cutco 30 yrs ago and I have for 2 years. Amazing product, best work experience EVer!!!

  • Cutco knives are great products, it's just a shame that the company that sells them is from HELL.

  • Whats so bad about getting an education and a real job? You dont have to work hard in the white collar world.

I would never pay what they are asking for a cutco knife.

Furthermore I like sharpening my knives...So I think the best knife is an ontario old hickory sharpened on a nice old arkansas stone.

    Total cost.. Around 25 dollars.

What you get: A great knife

    Experience sharpening knives

    A lot of money saved

    No salesmen

A lifetime warranty from ontario knife company.

  • this kids just upset because he spent a week training with vector and couldn't sell free food to a starving child for a smile. Maybe he tried to scam his manager and got caught (didn't get paid) so now rude comments makes him feel better, you most certainly should take that marketing class, grow.

  • Ohh I get it, the reason the knifes cost so much is cuz they come with a Bluray DvD Player, a bluray dvd, a dvd a Wii and am atari system, am not trying to funny but , come on vector it's knifes you are selling not japanese swords, btw i did worked for vector great job but lots of cuts, they need to lower the price yes the chubby fellow in the chair talks like if he was chairman of vector, but you know his ass never used a knife in his life, sorry bro you look like a take out kind of dude peace

  • No problem, this was actually when I lived back home, so I didn't do much of my own cooking (not a whole lot of take out though): that's why I talk about my mother and her knives. Now that I've lived on my own for a while though, I will say that I still agree with everything I said in the video.

And man, there's a bunch of fat comments: maybe I should post in the description that I've lost about 50 pounds since then :P

  • @LordBaruch Congrats to you for losing the 50 pounds :)

  • @wysoup Thanks!

  • @wysoup hey i also lost about 50 pounds since last summer, you won't get any fat insult from me cuz i know how that feels like

  • @rodriguezjuanc for real though

  • @rodriguezjuanc your intelligence is matched only by your poor grammar and spelling. i sell cutco through vector, and have won over a grand in free stuff, and made over $600 in my first week by working two full days and two half days. as you say, "not trying to funny but," quit atttacking the company and look at your own personal business failures. i wouldn't buy from someone named rodriguez either.

  • FUCK VECTOR! who the fuck is just gonna buy $550 worth of knives and if vectors so great why dont they just sell their shit in a store or sum shit

  • @firewater850713 Oh look, another moron who knows nothing about marketing, who thinks $550.00 is a lot of money (minimum wage anyone?), and has a limited vocabulary. To the people Cutco is marketed towards (40-45+), $550.00 isn't even their monthly mortgage. (BTW you can also do interest free installments). Finally, I'll put this simply for you - no one in their right mind would buy a car before trying it. Same with Cutco. Go take a course on marketing, and learn about 'word of mouth'.

  • Oh look, another TWAT for vector. why dont you do the world a favor n use those indestructible knives to cut off ur teeny weeny vector winky so u can't contaminate the earth with anymore shiesters or better yet shove it in your ass and cut ur way up to ur mouth so the world can see what a piece of shit u really are, bluebalder69. get with times, Magoo.. nobody buys fuckin products door to door or "by appointment". Have a nice day:-)

  • and vector isnt marketed towards anyone. those shiesty cocksuckers tell you, to sell this bullshit to ur friends or family members which isnt really a job then. and once again I ask, why dont they sell these magical knives in stores if there so great?? shove ur marketing class up ur poopshot, fruitcake.

  • He is right in all that he says. I own Cutco myself and i work for vector. In my demos i accually try to break the knifes and none have broken. It is not a scam I make fuck loads of money so for all those people who are hating on cutco go ahead and think that way till you try it and know you are wrong then feel like a dumbass.

  • knives are not a priority!!

    Fuck CUTCO!

  • we're in a recession, EVERYTHING IS A PRIORITY!!!

  • pffft

  • so is this a lie? this comes from a job seeking website...Vector Marketing is a North American firm established in 1981. We have part time as well as some full time holiday help work opportunities for college students, individuals needing extra income, recent high school graduates and others. Representatives market Cutco products through a low key one-on-one approach. These entry level customer sales and service positions offer a number of unique advantages...u said its been around over 40 years

  • Vector sells CutCo knives. Vector has been around since 1981, CutCo has been around for much longer.

  • Not to mention they later question thier intelligence after falling for a pyramid scheme.

  • Your parents probably bought their shitty ass knives from walmart, probablywood handled rotten, tarnished knives. Anyone who is serious about cooking or worried about bacteria in their food wouldnt use those crappy knives and use something that has a lifetime guarantee, wont rust,is completely sanitary, and will stay sharp for 10 years. I bet you ate alot of tv dinners and mcdonalds growing up.and if you suck so bad that you have to sell to only your family and friends then you are a loser anyway.

  • Dude, they are just knives. lol, "worried about bacteria in their food".

I have never heard of someone getting sick from using cheap knives. But then again, I don't put a lot of thought into it. Just use them, clean them, and put them back. In 21 years, never had a problem. No rust, no bacteria, no problems, and no thought really. Unless you are a pro chef, who would want to waste their money on expensive silverware??? Lol, nerds without hobbies, bills, and girlfriends.

  • Comment removed

  • Cutco knives will rust, are made of soft 440A steel; and will dull after a few good uses (the straight edge knives). Cutco's knives are good quality, but they are grossly overrated.

  • Well the problem with me is that i sat through two days of unpaid training before i realized it was a bullshit pyramid scheme and told them to go fucky themselved. They wasted two days of my life that I'll never get back. Those bastards. I felt violated.... I least I wasnt stupid enough to sell knives to my parents....

  • lmao

  • @ifukyouintheass LOL pyramid scheme?? YOU SELL KITCHEN CUTLERY. how is that a pyramid. OH wait, you get 2% of those you refer. HOLY F*** 2%. The idea isn't to multi-level market, or pyramid, it's to build a sales TEAM with people you know. Why? well you are a lot more likely to motivate your friends to excel than the stinky, fat, unmotivated kid sitting next to you who doesn't even know the difference between 'knife' and 'knives'. "Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success."

  • Dude, knives are not that complicated. My parents have had the same cheap knives forever, and they still work fine. What nerd cares about his kitchen knives? I see the problem with vector though. They seem to sell thier product to naive college students, and then encourage them to sell to family and friends, which is really just begging those close to you for money in an akward way that makes these kids look like losers to the rest of the world and brings great shame to thier families.

  • your parents must not cook at all because it is impossible to still have those sharp knives

  • dude the knives are in no way a scam.....best knives in the world!! but vector does suck

  • YOU TELL EM

  • oh and ps, look up cutco on modern marvels. sharpest knives in the world. stop complaining because you have no self confidence, no motiviation, lack the ability to transfer enthusiasm, and have no discipline to stick with something just because it's hard. Go chew your parents out for screwing up in raising you.

  • @nalder89 First day of training, manager passes around the shears, fresh out of the packaging.

    There's rust on the shears.

You get one shot at telling me what's wrong with that picture.

  • @nalder89 nah see i got this job to make money not spend money on their shit and doing all the leg work making the rich more money fuck these pigs

  • u fat fag. stop talking about food and cutco if your title is about vector u slob

  • You caught me! I'm obese and a messy person. Too bad you don't have anything original to add to your insults, you silly little bitch.

  • vector sells cutco knifes idiot

  • @partyongarth420 IT'S --KNIVES-- YOU DUMBASS. knife -- singular. Knives -- Plural. Get a job or get an education.

  • This is his plan to sell MORE KNIVES! those knives are worth 50 cents a piece. Fuck cutco.

  • Cutco is the sharpest knife in the world. look it up & England has a machine called the CATRA test machine for knives. it did a test for every knife & brand in the world & Cutco came in 1st by a landslide =]

  • Well. Then. The. Recruiters. Lied. By. Telling. Us. The. Wrong. Date. and for the record i got hired by vekkktor on the spot and i know it doesnt mean a thing anymore. they couldve been around long enough to sell Jesus and Moses and Muhammad all knives but they still all suck ass...

  • thatssooo knife!

  • Cutco is nowhere near the sharpest knife in the world. First off, CATRA results don't mean much, because knives come in to contact with much harder materials than cardboard, that will dull edges of softer steels (440A) more quickly. In addition, Cutco only tested their product against a few select competitors, notice Kershaw's Shun knives were not included in the test. Out of the box, Cutco is decently sharp, but compared to Shun, and many outdoor knife companies, they are not impressive.

  • just what you said..you present to me a person that is extremly un educated and looking for an arguement not to mention you are embarrasing yourself to the public....please leave this video and do not respond back. thank you.

  • Quick tip, when trying to cast aspersions upon someone's level of education, refrain from blatant spelling errors, especially when spell check is in use. In addition, your aggressively arrogant comment is merely an attempt to ignore the facts at hand. 440A is considered a bargain stainless steel. Even with Cutco's temper, it is rated at less than 55 HRC. With competitors like Kershaw's Shun line using VG-10 rated at 60 HRC, Cutco cannot compete in either edge retention or sharpness.

  • once again..leave..nobody care about what you have to say..and you are trying to fight"correct my spelling? ".. i have the experince ..and his french chef knife is defective..hes under the forever garuntee..send it in get aanother for free..Shun doesnt do that..dont challenge my Cutco experience you.ll lose.. i also have full set..Ultimate Entertainer in Pearl..my personal set at the age of 19. goodbye and goodluck. please leave.

  • And by inference, you think people actually care what you have to say? Your personal "experince" (probably not going to win a spelling bee any time soon, it seems you are the one with lackluster education, see also "garuntee"), with Cutco cannot be established as a representative microcosm for all Cutco use. Just because you have not witnessed 440A rusting, does not mean that it cannot and will not . In addition, you are 19, your personal experience is minimal at best.

  • ok..sir..ive worked with Cutco for over a year..FSL. and i have one of the highest average orders in the company... if you would like..i can have somebody talk to you that has had the 57+ years of experience to make you look extremly une3ducated as of right now..and actually..i was an amazing spel;ler all through my education esspecially being a pilot..i just dont care to type..i shorten things..so if you going to sit here and start a fight..once again please leave..bye.

  • and you know what mr rebel..i find it hard to believe that stuff ever happened..Cutco did a coca cola test on the handles esspecially..it lasted 3 weeks..they never pulled the pearl knife or classic knife out..lasted 3 weeks..that time later..pulled them out of the jar..no rust or damage.

  • @chrisair2112 Funny little tidbit regarding their "rust resistance". Had my first day of training today and they passed around various pieces of the demonstration kit (the paring knife, spatula, all that jazz). Shears came around to me, I took them apart, and would you believe there was rust on this thing? Fresh out of a sealed package and there was rust on a sealed, stainless steel pair of shears. When I brought it up, noone said ANYTHING.

  • it is a scam and ur behind it bitch!

  • Good God man, the ancient kingdom of Ur is behind it? And they've stolen your capital letters as well!

  • Cutco. Wasnt. Around. In. The. 70s.

  • Yes. It. Was. Vector. Wasn't. But. CutCo. Was.

Now they're inserting extraneous punctuation! Hide your children!

  • in the end theyre still scamming vulnerable teenagers...

  • since 60s they were i was tolled

  • Cutco. has. been. around.since the 40s!s ^_^

  • x_x No!

  • 1949

  • ding ding ding!!!

    winner!

what do we have for him Johnny! lol

    =] you work at Vector?

  • my grandparents have Cutco from the 50s =] & im a Cutco Advisor & present one of the 1950s Cutco knife that they passed down to me in my presentations..so..thank you very much and have a very nice day! so once again ..Cutco. has. been. around. since. the. 40s. ^_^

  • I know someone at my office that also has parents who bought Cutco.^^ Since 1952, he used the Guarantee and fixed those babies up, and uses them for his presentations, xD. CUTCO IS AWESOME!!!

  • actually they do say the knives wont 'rust, pit, or corrode.'

  • No, they say that stainless steel won't and carbon steel will, and the knives are made of carbon steel. Whoever told you it says that either A. Didn't know or B. Misread the materials.

  • idk. im reading the sales book right now and i quote, High Carbon Surgical Stainless Steel... "Like Stainless, it resists rusting, pitting, or corroding, and is easy to clean. Like Carbon steel, it resists dulling and holds a sharp edge."

So basically it says it resists rusting pitting and corroding.

  • Their is a huge difference between won't and resists. Won't means never will. Resists means that if you don't mistreat the knife it won't. It is resistant because some carbon knives will rust if they aren't dried immediately, but the CutCo knives can air dry and be fine.

  • hmmm im not too sure about that.

Whether you are right or wrong, your point brings me to the 'forever guartentee.' if ur knives are not in optimal condition, you can send them back and get replaced. and if you do misuse them, you can get new knives for half the retail value.

  • and in referrance to the sharpenning policy, a rep will get sent to your home and your knives will be sharpenned for free.

  • and the misuse policy is not enforced. u get the new knife for free.

  • i just started training to sell cutco cutlery and where u were talking about how it makes sience that they wouldnt replace the knife if its misused, actually the forever garentee says that if you ever happen to destroy your cutco through abuse, then you can send it back to the company and it will be replaced for half the current retail value

  • sorry but i dont know how this comment got posted.

many ppl have my account ont hier computer

    so imr lly confused..

  • Butcher knives are for hardcore chopping, they are nearly a pound..

I crack coconuts on my demos.

  • they just offered me a job and it sounds great and all but i dont know if its stable enough for me to risk it by quiting the job i have now. any advice. btw, if they replace products for free and they are always selling would you put yourself out of customers eventually? like the stride gum commercials.

  • You set your own hours with this, so you can do this on the side for fun money if you wanted to.

And people often buy more after they've gotten a few pieces as well as getting gifts for weddings and such, so you even get repeat business sometimes.

  • you could do the vector thing with the other job, they say it can be done part time, just give it a week or two or just don't do it.

  • heh, good to hear some truth about vector. My advice to anyone reading is to give it a try, we'll refund your sample set if you don't like it, and if you do, you can make a lot of money in a very short time. BUT, it requires you to be self driven and entrepreneurial in spirit.

  • Great company!

im 3 weeks in and im based in southeast michigan working for vector. im making good money and i really think it is at least worth a try.

first off know that not every piece of cutco is made in the US. the rubber grips are in fact made in china. other then that they really don't say anything misleading.

the real reason why people end up quitting is they run out of people to call. its an easy problem and if you do not work hard in your first 10 days you can come across problems

  • I work for vector and everything is real ive made 6 sale out of 6 appointment thats how go the stuff is the job isnt bullshit its easy money thats what it is

  • dude im doing the program right now and i realy dont know what to think it seams to good to be true and ive seen way to many people get screwed by companies like this and way to many video's against this company.

  • Do it. It's a legitimate company: the deposit is because they're giving you a really expensive set of knives. It's worth trying, and it may not be for you, but if you search the comments you'll find those who had great success within the company.

  • Sounds like you're trying to sell the stuff already.

  • Who ever said I wasn't?

  • Ok I believe that the knives are a great product but I don't know about the company. Vector that is.

  • thank you. i am glad you posted this video for this guy. gosh it is a relief to hear you say all this stuff.

  • People do buy this product, because it's the highest quality and backed by the forever guarantee. They give you the base pay because they KNOW that 60% of their appointments end up in a sale. They also have less than 1 percent return rate.. goes to show how educated some people are.

  • you're usual recording stuff? This is you're only video. you don't have anymore video equipment do you? Gotcha!!!!

  • No, I've done some videos for classes, I've just never uploaded them to YouTube. My other stuff isn't that great, but it is better quality.

  • bull shit

  • I worked for this place. Their knives are *ok*—handles suck (despite what they say), but otherwise the blades are good. Their employment practices, however, are deplorable.

  • who gives this much of a flying f*ck about knifes??? if u use one for long enough..it dulls and u get a new one just like anything else that wears out... end of story

  • why would you buy a new one when you can sharpen it in 2 minutes?

  • hey

    thefetalbomber

dats nat true i would know im a rep. and we did a 3 day training and pays the best u get paid 16 for every demo i like cutco and i know people that have sold more than $20,000 and isn't even done working with us

    and

    BrandoGil

the reason they use a meat cleaver is to show u how sharp it is and what it can do they dont tell u ohh go open a coconut w a meat clever

    DUHHHHHHHH..............

  • I personally have no problem with the product. I do however have a problem with the people selling it. Cutco is an amazing cutlery set, it's just, well Vector isn't Ethical.

  • everything cutco makes except the ice cream scoop is made in america

  • Its not a scam its a good But, stastically speaking the average sales rep lasts a week out of training. The average rep sells, (not makes)$500 in her or his career. So statiscally speaking its not even worth showing up to the interview.

  • to mommy and daddy?

  • haha my parents have had cutco for 10 years. nice try though. Oh, and shay in our office sold 3200 last week, and 2400 the week before that. learn to work pussies

  • what office?

  • That's great! that means they still sharp enough for u to cut wrists, when realize what a failure u are

  • So refreshing to see an informed man speaking on the topic. Haha, if you ever need a job, look me up.

  • On my second day they had us use a meat cleaver to open a coconut. Misuse?

  • No. Cleavers are designed for a sharp blow, unlike butcher's knives.

And I don't know what this ragging on the misuse and abuse policy is. Here's the dealy-o: first of all, I have no idea how you had any problem with their service, I sent back a paring knife my dad had used as a screwdriver and snapped off the tip and they replaced it for free; secondly, the misuse and abuse is handled exclusively by CutCo, so Vector has nothing to do with it. Vector advertises and sells the knives, period.

  • Actually, disregard that second point. It's a flawed argument when viewed through your perspective-you think it is inferior so it would be wrong of Vector to peddle it.

  • I WORK FOR VECTOR.

  • I seriously love you, I had the hardest time of my life watching that idiot ramble on about vector. He clearly had no idea what he was talking. I have worked with Vector for the past 3 years and the people that I do not do well are the people that are unmotivated, do not understand the concept of quality, I am very glad that I came across this video! GO CUTCO!

  • Wow! What venom! What vitriol! One would think I had slapped them in the face. The joys of the internet, where a dissenting opinion is greeted with a fond "screw you!"

  • FYI: lose some weight, you fat pig

  • I actually have lost about forty pounds since I posted this. I feel happier and healthier. Thanks for the recommendation!

  • FYI: a "butcher knife" = meat cleaver. The big knife in your parents' knife collection is likely either a "French knife" or a "santoku".

  • I think this fool must have a cutco knife up his ass.

  • Ow, damn, that would hurt! I wouldn't know what its like, but surely you could relate to someone in that position, seeing as your head is so firmly planted in your own.

  • OH SNAP!!!!

  • Wow, what a tool.

  • u are so full of shit the cutco product is indeed great . but you have to agree the marketing is absoult bull shit they wouldnt even answer any questions i had before my interview they were shady from day one. vector should just start a contract with sears or somthing

  • HAHAHAHHAHAhAH..... UNCLE RICO!!!!!!!

  • Finally!!! An educated individual posts a video. I wonder if BrandoGil actually watched it. Hope so.

  • I know someone who has had their Cutco knives for 30+ years. But you know what? They got them BEFORE Vector bought Cutco. If anyone talks about the greatness of Cutco knives, just keep in mind that Vector deserves none of the credit.

  • well before Vector, Cutco was sold door-to-door, so would you like more door-to-door salesmen or representatives getting permission to go to homes and show the product?

  • the thing is... once you work for Vector for about... oh idk... 10 days... the $150 deposit looks a lot smaller. Especially considering i've only been working for 5, and i've made twice that, and then some. not to mention all the scholarship opportunities they have.

  • anything that has the cutco logo on it is covered by the forever guarantee. I love my knives. The technicians take a look at the knife to see how it broke...its a really simple concept...

  • cutco has a lifetime use and abuse guaranteed replacement, you do not have to explain how the knife broke

  • who cares where the knives are made? the problem is not the overpriced knives. vector marketing is a pyramid scheme! sell vacuum cleaners and amway instead!

  • yeah, and go knock on RANDOM people's doors? Yeah that sounds like a GREAT idea. And sell a product that DOESN'T have a guarantee. Why don't you let us all know when you grow up and find your way out of your grandmother's basement full of conspiracy theories.

  • If only the door to door vacuum cleaner salesman was smart enough to ask for "references" or "leads" or whatever you call them. Enjoy your door to door knife salesman job mr. kenoahb. My company gave me a signing bonus when they hired me by the way. They didn't ask for a deposit LOL!

  • First off, we do ask for recommendations. If you had investigated the job at all, you would know that.

Second, how many more bonuses did you get after your signing bonus? I got 7 bonuses in my first 6 months.

Finally, your company doesn't ask for a deposit because you sell a cheap and crappy product, and that's likely the truth.

  • Nice user name. Not very mature or appropriate. No wonder you wouldn't make it in sales.

  • actually we only sell on appointments with people that want to see it, and we have a forever guarantee. im glad you now have the correct facts

  • Uh Vector is not a pyramid scheme. That would mean anyone that you brought to the company could not become a high rank than you. For example if your friend was a manager and you came in as a personal reference. You could very easily rise above him or her and make more money. Any other comments i need to correct?

  • theres no problem with the knives, its the sketchy sales pitch/method from vector.

  • No it's not a scam. You just don't want to work hard so it is thrown back in your face. Your insecure about the fact you can't work hard enough to be more mature than most college students and make more money then them so you have to put down something you couldn't handle.

  • i could handle it. even though i made good money, vector is shady. so dont say i dont want to work hard or that im not mature because i did work hard and am mature enough to make good decisions based on my morals. so your argument is pathetic. wrongfully calling me lazy and immature wont change the fact that vector is a shady company who take advantage of students fresh out of high school. go get a real job instead of picking fights with strangers on youtube that you really wont win BITCH

  • AGREED!

  • OR you could just admit you weren't good at it lol...that couldn't be a possibility, could it?

  • cutco is resharpened for FREE forEVER. haha send your mom's knives in to get sharpened!!!! they never say they stay sharp forever.. they say they are only supposed to stay sharp for 7-10 years.
