@ajlff that's because we as human don't know that much more than before... It does not matter how good the hardware is, if no one is "good enough" or rather spend enough money developing a AI that that continue to develop itself.
@Robbie2001Terrier Gaming has advanced in terms of more polygons, physics and animation but the ai in my opinion hasnt made a step foward in a longer time.The last game I played that had somewhat good ai was the first F.E.A.R. ,seems like developers are not focusing much on the ai sadly.We need ai that learns to use the environment and is not scripted.
@Robbie2001Terrier I would say that it is about how much game programmers became less ignorant of academical studies + how much hardware became faster. :)
