Yeah, if the leaked HATEU snippet is any indication MC and Dream used parts of what he initially came up with but she def. changed portions of the chorus (and more than likely lyrics) and also made changes to the melody and tempo.

There is no way... this song could possibly fit a Beyonce and Alica Keys voice... the tempo of this song is perfect for Mariah's voice because it allows her to flutter up and down. Not to mention it's perfectly crafters for Mariah high and low BGs she adds to every song.

The-Dream doesn't sound that great over this track. His notes get drowned out by the music. I'm glad this is only a demo.

beautiful The Dream song Mariah to honor this has not be hiting high notes or hoarse-whispering It'd suit better a nice voice like A Keys or Beyonce, Mariah isn't That good now, she lost it.The worst is that on MC's álbum it'll say: Music by M Carey & the Dream LOL obviously if the demo is sung by them is surely cuz they wrote the whole song and just gave it to MC. If the melody and lyrics to this original change in the album I'm soo gonna hunt you down for bad-mouthing MC!!! WE all know she can write her own things. they lyrics have changed, and part of the melody, as you can hear in the snippet release that was leaked. The lyrics were even posted on her twitter, in her version she says "I can't wait to hateu, make u pain like I do". Mariah posted it herself. I can't wait for her version to come out, and yes, she definitely doesn't need writers! :)

Very sexy! Mariah's vocals on this would sound fantastic and, judging by the 30 second snippet, she changed a bit of the production/compositions as well. I wonder if she re-did some of the lyrics too?

Very true. Listening to the clip of her version, she definitely changed the lyrics on the chorus and made it a bit faster without losing the dark edge. She adds in parts like "I hate u...I'm tired of trying to fix u..."

She also adds "I still can't shake you off" I don't know why but I think a good line would be "I can't see your halo" My mind just made that up somewhere lol. But consdierng mariah co-writes everything there is another verse in this for sure

I think the lyrics to the verses will be very different for Mariah's version. I think this was The-Dreams concept for a song and Mariah added her thing to it and brought it to the next level.
