I'm a huge Punisher fan and this is definitely one of my favorite PS2 games but even I have to agree the the boss fights... are really fucking goofy. I think the worst offender is the second fight with the Russian, I mean, give me a fucking break. In the comics yes, the guy was tough, but he wasn't fucking BULLETPROOF!!!

This game is on PC, and it is beautiful. U should check it out on that. Looks alot better. One of my favourite games, plus u get challenge modes after u are done, and cameos from a few marvel characters. compared to the fps (the punisher no mercy) that just came out This game is the best game ever. Seriously the fps was useless.

what i thought was strange is that you compare a ps2 game with a xbox 360/ps3 game thats just weird. and it wouldnt be a boss if it would just take 1 shot to kill him. then it just a regular enemy. but for the rest you have some valid points. i really liked the game just for its gore factor.

just to add... after watching this review, i noticed there showing a censored version of the game, no blood on the window pane, no face eating parana'a (im being serious) no blood anywhere really, and the atual window finisher was what i described earlier, it smashes leaving large shards in there frohead, the tossed out the window, there where also things like, drill mounts which you could drill through there skulls with, oh well... nevermind...

dude you cant compare the level desighn to Bioshock or any other next gen game because

1. this is a last gen game

2. it was made back in 04/05 so it makes no sense to compare it to a next gen game made by an entirley different company

3.if you do a review on a last gen game for ps2 compare it to other games from that generation makes more sense and you seem like not such a jackass

The pc version you can install a patch and the special interrigations will not be black and white, instead it will have the real colour to it. And that means that the PC version has more blood and gore, in it.

There is a codebreaker code to remove the black and white grainy effect on the ps2 version so it is just as violent.

That's really weird, I don't have any problems with it on my computer. Also note that the video on GG is over 4 times the size of this one so it will take a bit longer to load.

Well it does seem to be a problem on my side. FireFox plays it fine. But in IE every video on GG just keeps on buffering forever, in FireFox it plays right away. Weird, their video's worked fine about 2 weeks ago.

I got it on the PS2 and it's a fun game. It doesn't bring much new but it's just intense action and it's got the wood chipper, or that piranha tank hehe.

I have this game on my x box and i love it next ot Super mario 3 on the nes this is my favouritt game. I tnik the interigation is genius and i wish they would make a sequal to this game and include more interigation and close upp kills. And the point system is fun kinda feels like playing a arcade game to get the highest score. I found this game very addictive and the voice for frank castle was perfect (YES AND I LOVE THE COMICS)

A Lot of people might disagree but i really loved this game.

I Borrowed it from a friend for a couple weeks and i bet i played through it 5 times.

So satisfying to demolish everything in sight.

I Found myself popping it in just to play a level or 2 randomly on top of the actual play-throughs.

9/10 for me
