After watching how pros playing this game, it makes me not even wanna try to play this game. It looks soo ridiculously spam. Once you get in a combo, you might as well put the controller down.

@Jinxownzu Thanks! I didn't know that. And about the arcade stick, you can make your own for under 50 dollars but kind of needs experience with circuits. You can order a custom one, it should be cheaper, here in mexico you can get a custom arcade stick for around 140dollars with cheap parts but the price can go up to 600 or 700 dollars depending on the quality you're looking for.

@HitTheEarth Double qc is more reliable imo, but it takes longer than the "legit" motion, so I kinda use both. And sadly, I couldn't have any clue about what kind of quality I'm looking for, since I've never laid hands on an arcade stick... plus there's the whole square gate or something else choice to make... But I'll try and check out some custom ones ^_^

on the contrary this is daigos first year playing anything mvc and he caught up to players in that one year compared to the 10yrs of experience that americans had on mvc2. And made it top 50. long story short the beast will beast on this game next year

@daihaksu 10 years of american experience doesnt count for anything. Information is shared and known. it is up to individual skill and Daigo is a beast at fighting games, so it is no surprise. All fighting games are not fundamentally different, so dont make it sound so epic that Daigo made it that far and lost "honorably".

@ANormalGuy the mvc series is fundamentally different, its one of the only games known that has assist traps , extremely long block strings, and some notorious keep away gaming. all the other versus games didnt have a system as complex as mvc. it wasn't my intention to make anything epic i was just saying the truth.

It's never free in there, and go back to 2009...it came down to the Final Round, and the Final Set, with basically two-three hits deciding the entire match up! You people make me sick with this garbage that Wong is for free against Daigo in SF, in which case it almost always goes down to the wire when those two fight.

Oh btw, MvC2 gives ZERO exp. to MvC3, when MvC3 plays like TvC, so 10 yrs in MvC2 means nothing for MvC3.

Their match ups in SF have almost always come down to the final set, go back to even Evo2k4 and it was the final set, go back to 2009 and it was down to the final round! Justin only got knocked out of AE early is because he made it very clear he wasn't practicing much for AE, but putting all his efforts into MvC3. So he lost to Latif who eventually beat Tokido, Daigo and Poongko.
