No way Cotto will beat Pacquiao. Remember the Diaz fight. Remember the DLH fight. Remember the Hatton fight. In each of these fights they said the bigger man would give Pacquiao problems but they could`nt get near him. Pac`s speed was the key. In the early rounds Pac will bounce in and out with straight lefts, jabs and right hooks with his excellent foot and hand speed. Although Cotto is powerful he won`t be able to get near him and in the end his power will be drained and he will be destroyed.

Cotto has a high guard and uses elbows to block straights and cross. He has pretty solid defense not solid chin (decent chin, yes). Pac has an uncanny ability to hit his opponents flash and square in the chin 'cuz he knows how to use his speed at the right bursts of moments. Watch his fights against ODLH. ODLH may be washed up but he was turtling behind his gloves and yet Pac was able to land him square over and over and over and over. Both ODLH has orthdox stance and a lefty btw.
I remember ODLH saying in 24/7 that he has the ability to bite his mouthpiece at the right moment before he gets hit so that the impact of the punches will be negated by his biting force thus lessening the effect that his brain will be rattled. So there, anticipation is proven to lessen KO power even ODLH who was never KO'd backed this up. Second, Cotto has good defense that's why he's not easy to dispose. He has decent chin but not iron or granite.
I don't see how people can say Pac doesn't have enough power to put Cotto down. First of all, Pac can hit from blind spots 'cuz he punches from angles (Hell, he punches with his eyes closed too and magically connects like an aimbot). He KO'd both Diaz and Hatton with a punch they literally did not see! That's a big difference when you're getting punched by a slow-ass puncher like Margarito despite the power being there. Anticipation significantly diminishes the punches ability to KO.
Man I'm so pumped up for this fight! I've never favored against these guys in any of their fight. I think Pac will take this one simply because he's the more talented guy, period. I think this will be the hardest fight for both fighters. Pac is the hungrier fighter here in my opinion, he takes pressure very well and all eyes are on him come fight night. Cotto has nothing to lose here since he's fighting the best pound for pound anyway. I have a feeling we'll see the best Pac ever.

No way Cotto will beat Pacquiao. Remember the Diaz fight. Remember the DLH fight. Remember the Hatton fight. In each of these fights they said the bigger man would give Pacquiao problems but they could`nt get near him. Pac`s speed was the key. In the early rounds Pac will bounce in and out with straight lefts, jabs and right hooks with his excellent foot and hand speed. Although Cotto is powerful he won`t be able to get near him and in the end his power will be drained and he will be destroyed.

Yeah, its funny when marquez hit him bouncing around like roger rabbit. When he wobbled him with a left, it was timed when pac had no feet on the ground. If he does that again, cotto will send him to the moon. Pac is all show against weak opponents and picked styles, when he gets in the ring with elite fighters he looks very amateur.

Cotto has a high guard and uses elbows to block straights and cross. He has pretty solid defense not solid chin (decent chin, yes). Pac has an uncanny ability to hit his opponents flash and square in the chin 'cuz he knows how to use his speed at the right bursts of moments. Watch his fights against ODLH. ODLH may be washed up but he was turtling behind his gloves and yet Pac was able to land him square over and over and over and over. Both ODLH has orthdox stance and a lefty btw.

I remember ODLH saying in 24/7 that he has the ability to bite his mouthpiece at the right moment before he gets hit so that the impact of the punches will be negated by his biting force thus lessening the effect that his brain will be rattled. So there, anticipation is proven to lessen KO power even ODLH who was never KO'd backed this up. Second, Cotto has good defense that's why he's not easy to dispose. He has decent chin but not iron or granite.

I don't see how people can say Pac doesn't have enough power to put Cotto down. First of all, Pac can hit from blind spots 'cuz he punches from angles (Hell, he punches with his eyes closed too and magically connects like an aimbot). He KO'd both Diaz and Hatton with a punch they literally did not see! That's a big difference when you're getting punched by a slow-ass puncher like Margarito despite the power being there. Anticipation significantly diminishes the punches ability to KO.

Man I'm so pumped up for this fight! I've never favored against these guys in any of their fight. I think Pac will take this one simply because he's the more talented guy, period. I think this will be the hardest fight for both fighters. Pac is the hungrier fighter here in my opinion, he takes pressure very well and all eyes are on him come fight night. Cotto has nothing to lose here since he's fighting the best pound for pound anyway. I have a feeling we'll see the best Pac ever.

cotto has a shot at winning a split or unanimous, I DONT think any of the two are willing to go down. too much pride and heart in both fighters. I just think that pacquiao is riding on a high of momentum and I expect speed, angles, in-out combination's, with relentless aggression when he needs to with smart boxing, should catapult pacquiao to a close hard fought split, or unanimous. cotto has a shot though.
