@EndoKeren What if it were a Japanese who went to the Wild West to win many duels? ; ). The movie definitely isn't the most accurate thing ever, but the premise isn't *that* unlikely. The most unbelievable thing is that the rebels would so readily accept the American, as those fanatics were usually ultra-nationalist---which was overlooked. Aside from that, his abilities weren't that unusual as he WAS a soldier, and HAD been trained in the use of swords.

They say that the samurai (Space Marines) use no firearms, thats gonna be a hard one for you since all SM units got boltguns, boltpistols, ore whatsoever.

Well, all seargeant and commander unit have chainsword/power sword/force weapon. They use them in Close Combat in the game. And regular marine use large combat knife in close combat, if I remember.

Space Marines do not use the same wepaons as Samurai, but their credo is almost exactly the same.

They fight, kill and die for their lord;

they believe in honour and duty, and they dont fear their own death.

More then anything Space Marines are driven by faith and devotion in the Empror, who is their god. It is pretty obvious that Space Marines are very close Monks or Crusader Knights.

Black Rage=Space Marines well beyond sanity and unable to stop killing. Red Thirst=Unnaturally strong thirst for blood, Black Rage with a physical dependency for blood.... How Elvira of them....

Black Rage. It's called the Black Rage and it is theorized it originates from the psychic rage that was released upon the Primarch Sanguinius's death. Kinda like a psychic backlash that never disipated.

Yeah, and they're know as the Death Company. The Death Company is only used in times of war, if a Blood Angel falls to the flaw in peace, he is executed. The Death Company relieves the battles of Sanguinis, especially the siege of Terra. They see their enemies as Horus and their allies as Dorn or Guilliman. They're basically Khorne Berzerkers, but a whole lot more effective at killing. Veteran Sergeant Koris took down around 50 word bearers, 30 bloodletters, and a dreadnought before he died.

Yeah thats where Grey Knights are recruited from...you do need strong people to become the emperors Mega Death.

But Some Ecspecially ranged based chapters recruit from like worlds where they hunt to become a man or something so that they can get the most skilled ranged combatants in the Imperium
