Would love to see Tim put out his own music, even if it is only here on youtube with a track available on iTunes. Even a remake (remember 'Ol Red is originally George Jones, not Blake Shelton). George had some good songs and because of the uniqueness of George's voice and the uniqueness of Tim's I think some of the songs would be really good fits for remakes. And if Tim returns next year (he should), he'd be in the over 30's. I would suspect with a mentor who could handle country.

Hopefully Tim will get signed by Nashville - he was incredible ! I guess rappers are hot on this show - they are looking for who THEY think will sell the most $ for them. I hate rap& far prefer Tim's amazing voice to Chris Rene or Brian.They're good for their genre ,but not all people liKE rap or country for that matter ! This guy is better than most country singers who are stars - hope someone has the brains to sign him ! Too much untapped talent out there while we listen to crap on the air .

1. I think Chris Rene is more of a Hip Hop kinda guy. He isn't really much of a rapper (the little boy is absolutely though).

2. There's supposedly a Wild Card week next Tuesday, so if that's true, I would expect Tim and Brennin to both be there, along with Jazzlyn and I would guess The Anser.

I'm too old to be up on the vernacualr ,.Probably a generational thing but not my style though even I can see Chris def has telent in his genre . Hoping the wildcard is true - I read that too so I expect Jazz and Tiger to be there along with the Answer and 4Shore - lots of talent on the show and too many got robbed . I hate that most of the people on the show were better than anyone on the radio today -such a shame .

@doogleandalix Yeah it really is pretty bizarre lol. There's still a lot of people on the radio that are incredibly talented (especially depending on your definition of musical talent) though. Even people like Jason DeRulo who I think sucks as a singer is one of the best main-stream song-writers right now, but they have to auto-tune his voice a ton to make up for his lack of singing ability. But there's still a lot of people out there that have great voices on the radio even today.

@BucsDucs99 Seems like most of the singers today are auto-tuned .SHow me a singer who is just as good a capella or live and I;ll show you a really good singer -that 's the bottom line . They could probably even make me sound good in the studio with a million dollars worth of synthesizers and equipment . Of course , there are quite a few good singers out there today - it is just sad that this group was SO GOOD and only 1 0r 2 will get a career out of it .

@doogleandalix Absolutely, but there's a difference between guys like Jason DeRulo who sound like crap live versus someone like T-Pain who can actually sing without auto-tune, but chooses to sing with it for whatever reason (my guess is because you can do some cool stuff with it and it makes him stand out).

Regarding the only one or two getting a career out of it, I would assume pretty much all of the top 16 will come out wiht some original songs on iTunes. But probably only 1 or 2 will be hits

I have read comments from people saying if these contestants were any good , they would have made it by now - as if it were that simple ! So naive to think just being talented gets you " discovered ". I guess that is why these shows reel me in ,hook,line and sinker . I love to see average people with enormous talent get a shot .

Maybe better than the rapper boy, but you can't really compare country to rap (or vice versa). There was no chance Tim was beating out Marcus or Chris. I could see him beating out Phillip or the rapper boy, but the guys was probably the deepest group in my opinion. Brennin Hunt was very good too. Tim was one of the only country singers I like tho.

Phillip was, more of less, LA's scapegoat to take the fall in the live shows before the public got to vote. If LA picked Tim, he'd have been out regardless--do you honestly believe he'd have forsaken either Chris, Astro, or Marcus? The man knows what artists he wants to work with. Jesus.

Although I didn't really prefer the song choice Tim does seem to have a rich tone. Listening without looking is, to me, more moving. His performance needs a little polish but based upon LA's past successes (although I cannot stand Justin Beiber), I'm sure LA could mentor Tim to the point I would buy singles from Tim's album (I never buy full albums), depending on the song choices of course, whether he won X factor or not.
