  • My mum only breastfeeded me for 7 months.. I gave up on my own.

    - I guess i didnt like being breast feeded .. :D

  • I breastfed my son for 3 years. I meant to go 2 years, but it was very difficult to wean him and it was a stressful time so I decided to postpone weaning until it wouldn't be as stressful for him. It was still really hard.

I think some women give up on breastfeeding too easily. When I was in the hospital they kept telling me bottle feeding was just as good and they really kind of pressured me into doing it. Plus, it's very painful at first (at least for me). But it gets much easier within weeks

  • Just wanted to mention that even though the Japanese have a lower obesity rate, doesn't make them any healthier. People should know that the Japs have one of the highest rates in the world for colon & esophageal cancers due to very low fiber content in their diets. They also are plagued with deficiency type illnesses from lack of indigenous, nutritious foods. Low body weight doesn't necessarily equal "healthier".

  • There is a huge problem with breastfeeding and it is called biomagnification. A lot of chemical substances, metals and other sort of things that any kind of food we eat have, due to industrialization of food, and artificial substances we put on it, concentrate on us human beings, that eat basically everything these days. So when breastfeeding you are passing all these concentrated substances directly to the baby. Search for a video called "story of stuff" for a better understanding.

  • @ltrafael That is why it is critical for a woman to be very particular about her diet before even considering having a baby. Mother's milk is better for a baby than artificial formulas! There are alternatives for women who can't breast feed for whatever reason. Check out Sally Fallon's book Nourishing Traditions for a couple of infant "formula" recipes that use real food rather than artificial formulas.

  • @Gabraela1 indeed. Unfortunally, diet is something people should care about since they are children. Caring about it only a few months before a woman gets pregnant will help, but you r not going to get rid of the problem, also because you are vulnerable from the polution of the air. But it still is very important for woman to do this, even man actually, eating organic food helps a lot. I don't know why but the culture of taking care of yourself and your body is slowly disappearing these days...

  • Thumbs up if ou clicked on this video beacuse of the photo

  • or if your a male ur looking to see some tits ....

  • @cooltjh4 hahaaha soo funny

  • to be honest i came here to see some normal breasts...

  • I breastfeed my daughter for the first 13 months, then only at night for another 3 months. but my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabietes when she was only 2 1/2 years old.Would any thing i did cause this to happen? in her first year of school she was sick every two weeks. Please let me know if you have any info that would help me pin down what may have caused this.

  • Every child that is breast fed have the greatest immunity towards almost every infection, if not all infections and/or illnesses. Breastfeeding is the best!

  • Very informative! Thank you for posting this video.I learned a lot!

  • 2 million views are men "thinking about breastfeeding".

  • @Microglia1 Guys want their women to breastfeed their babies, like me.

  • Can anyone on youtube tell me is this healthy for a newbaby?

  • @1990babyface . Sure is, if you're refering to breastfeeding. I know, because I do it. It's not quirky, or nasty, like some people may think, but is perfectly natural and healthy, unless the beastfeeder or breastfeedee has certain health problems. I did not breastfeed my first child, but am currently breastfeeding my second. She is THRIVING. My baby started nursing 10 minutes after birth. It is encouraged to breastfeed your baby as soon as possible after birth. BABIES ARE BORN HUNGRY!!!:)

  • @SuperEmilysmom So is it best for a woman to breastpump or breastfeed normally? I want my woman to breastfeed my baby.

  • @1990babyface actually breastfeeding the baby from the breast is really good, but it's a choice that has to be made. I'm a stay- at- home mom, and am always available to feed my daughter. But pumping milk normally isn't difficult or painful to do. So either way.

  • @SuperEmilysmom So how old does the child have to be to stop breastfeeding or it doesnt ever have to stop?

  • @SuperEmilysmom I remember reading somewhere that breast feeding early in a child's life does the baby a lot of psychological good, as it's a pivotal moment for maternal-child bonding. There was a study that shows women who did not breast feed their baby early in life was more likely be negligent to the child's needs (as measured by answers to a questionnaire.

  • @Microglia1 Most definitely, but didn't know if it's being implied that I was negligent of my first child because I wasn't able to breastfeed her? That's because I'm disabled. Just wanted you to know that. :)

  • @SuperEmilysmom I think good rearing will override everything. My point is the early stages of a child's life is very important so the more you can do for your child the better he'll be as an adult. It's kind of like priming in ducks. The baby ducks will wake up to life and believe it's mother to be the first thing it sees. That's why you have a lot of baby ducks following human farmers around or some time a dog or other farm animals. We still retain a lot of those animalistic instincts.

  • I exclusively breastfed my son to 5 1/2 months then began to introduce semi-solids. He was an absolute butterball until about 8 months old. He was able to hold his head up in the hospital and looked like a six month old at barely three months. He cut his two front bottom teeth and we continued to breastfeed until 10 months when he bagan cutting his top teeth. He started biting and the last time we breastfed he bit down and wouldn't let go...

  • I breast feed my baby till she was 8mts but then my milk started to dry up wish i could have longer but i worked a full time job. I plain to have another baby soon. I had a pump and used it daily and i used it as close to the same time she was being feed at daycare as i could. Some days i would go and nurse her. How could i make it last longer with my next child?

  • all true, formula is horrible, i still breastfeed my 1 year old baby, he did not have any colics, what i hear from mothers using formula milk is that their babies cry from colics a lot in the beginning, plus breastfeeding is a perfect way to calm down your baby in seconds.

  • nice lady, but where are the boobs?

  • Comment removed

  • Not only the nutrients, but breastmilk has living white blood cells, hormones and lots of other living things that obviously formula doesnt have. Your breastmilk also changes over time as your baby grows, perfect for every stage of life.

  • Thumbs Up if u only watched this to see some Boobs!

  • @tehmightylion1

    lmao... damn rite man...

  • @tehmightylion1 me :D

  • @domram12 WTF! The only pedophile here is you if you think that breastfeeding is a sexual act. Breastfeeding is good for your baby and doctors encourage it.

  • @TheLifeExperience64 Breastfeeding becomes sexual when women become sexually aroused by it especially at a continued basis as they have reported. This constant sexual arousal is when breastfeeding also becomes a sexual act combined with the feeding thus it also becomes pedophilia ESPECIALLY when this is experienced with extended breastfeeding.

  • why the pig,,??? discussting

  • I am currently breast-feeding my 5 month old daughter. But I have been supplementing with formula simply because I didn't have the confidence that it was enough for her. Now she prefers the bottle, but I still always breast-feed her before giving on to her. I think if more women breast-fed, they would be able to share that knowledge with someone like me who has lost they're mother, and no other role-model is available.

  • Great video! Should be required viewing for all prospective parents.

  • what is the name of the song in 0:08 - 0:12

  • Thanks for the post!!!

  • There was a distinct lack of breasts in this video damnit!

  • i like tits and LOVE suckin on em. MMMM now im craving some cookies and tit milk.... Anyone?????

  • I breastfeed both of my childs 18 month - great bondage!

  • @MissSugarize BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA! Bondage?? I think you mean "bonding."

  • I breast fed my son until he was 18 months old. I tried formula before but he would not take it at all! My son also has never had any cold or illness. Even now that he is 2 he still has only had congestion or allergy problems and not often.

  • Wow. I am really sick and tired of people saying breast milk is the way to go. If this IS the truth, then how come so many mothers don't do it anymore? They say breast milk is no different than baby formulas you buy at the store. Reason being is because whatever is in the foods the mother eats will also show up in breast milk. Most affordable foods are not very healthy. My mother went with baby formulas instead of breast milk. I turned out fine and also I've had a very high IQ since childhood!

  • @maktorri9 A lot of mothers don't breastfeed because at times it can cause them pain. Nutritionally, breast milk is much better for a child. Scientists have yet to discover the proper way to create formula with the correct nutritional value. Some children do just as well on formula as they do on breast milk. My mother chose not the breastfeed me mainly because her breasts were to sensitive.

  • @exathent Okay. I understand now. But yes breast-feeding was a thing of the past. It would also seem more realistic if breast milk IS healthier than baby formulas. Maybe many young mothers don't know that. But scientists really NEED to learn how to make formulas just as nutritious. They need to learn NOW. Not 20 years in the future. Just saying....

  • @maktorri9 They've been trying for years to get it right. The book In Defense of Food has a section about formula in it. It also talks about the flaws in nutritionism. The way scientists study nutrients doesn't show them the proper way our bodies deal with them. They take each individual nutrient and study it. The most I know about nutrients is that we need calcium and vitamin D together so our bodies will absorb them. It's a really good book.

  • @maktorri9 al the time doctors say to eat healthy and eat organic not manufactured food for better heath, why can u provide that for an infant? just looking for the easy way to do it? feeding ur baby formula is like eating frozen food, it's not gonna kill ya, it's not bad for you, but it is also not as gd and nutritional as fresh food

  • @maktorri9 and beside god wanted mother's milk to be hard to mimic, it shows you that thats whats best for your bundle of joy, and and if it didn't contain all of the vitamins, thats cuz not all are important for baby, cuz of their weak digestive system, you don't want to make it harder on them :3

  • @exathent There are breast pumps of many kinds & prices. I found that RELAXATION prior to feeding is required. Reading a light romance story, etc. God designed b-feeding to be pleasurable; the extra sensitivity is designed in; not a manufacturing fault. Read the vast literature. Mum's milk contains antibodies & "formula" appropriate to th age of the baby/ child. Breast milk can be bought commercially - ask around.

  • @maktorri9 this is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. There have been numerous studies done on the benefits of breastfeeding. It is ABSOLUTELY the best thing for the mother and the baby. First of all, it adapts to each stage of your baby's growth. It prevents numerous illnesses and medical problems. It also ha smany benefits for the mother. Its an excellent way to bond with your child, and it is FREE. I am 18 years old and have enough sense to breastfeed my son. Don't be an idiot.

  • @calijay2010 yeah I have learned that the people who live by these 'rules' are indeed idiots. And the PARENTS who follow these idiots need to be more educated! For at least 50 years, hardly anyone breast-feeds their babies anymore. I am wondering why this is, since breast milk is FREE and better than baby formulas. So it hurts the nipples? I guess there are a few legimate reasons. But seriously parents need to give their babies the best care possible and STOP ABUSING CHILDREN!!!!

  • @maktorri9 IQ in its many different types has no proven relationship to b-feeding.

  • @grey0powerlessnesss yes I know thanks. I wish other people were intelligent enough to know this fact too. I also wish breast-feeding wasn't a thing of the past if it is supposed to be so beneficial to babies. Parents need to learn that the formulas you buy at the store are NOT as beneficial as breast milk. I am so tired of so much ignorance in the world.

  • @grey0powerlessnesss AND HOW DO YOU KNOW??

  • this is just an ascuse to get you to watch boobs ~_~

  • show tits or gtfo

  • @aazish100 see, you havnt seen real tits before....so why you trying to act like a punk! look in the mirror and ask that guy in the mirror to help you out coz you must be outta ya mind cuz....go see a doc or something

  • sexy boobs

  • Chances are if ur watching this video ur a female mother, or...a male pervert. Lol

  • @rockerD1717 as opposed to a male mother lol

  • I WANNA SEE THE BOOBIES!!!

  • i have exclusively breastfed my baby for 5 months now and plan on feeding for as long as possible. thank you for this video it is much needed in todays world. the lactation consultants and doctors make it very difficult nowadays to continue with exclusive breastfeeding, with all the rules and stipulations on how fast a baby should gain back their birth weight. i almost gave up after the first week. i am glad i kept trying it finally worked and i am happy for it!

  • My mom still breastfeeds me. It still works fine, and tastes absolutely fantastic, so it must be completely natural.

  • @leirgauk Rofl, this is by far the funniest comment I have ever read. How old are u? Lmao

  • @rockerD1717 43

  • I breastfed my first son for almost two years and am still breastfeeding my 12 month old.

  • I breastfed my first daughter for 2 years. My 2nd daughter was breastfed for 10 months. I had to have a major surgery and she had to be weaned.. Neither child had formula or took a bottle. They both could drink from a cup at 5 months.

I made all my own babyfood as well.

  • @divinelilprincesss1

I didn't breastfeed my 4 year old, but now I am due to have another baby in one more month. I plan to breastfeed this baby and also pump to give my 4 year old my milk in a cup. It's his 2nd chance!

  • a baby had a bad reaction to breast milk which the mother ate home baked beans the baby became colic and gave the baby diarrhea , after changing the diet everything was fine again beans and broccolli was to gassy for this baby

  • while babies are breast feeding the mothers uterus muscles get pulled upwards they get a work out whilebaby is feeding these muscles aid in helping to produce milk so mother and baby both benifit

  • there arent real allergies or intolerances, all this shit started when the doctors couldnt find anything else to cure!

  • CAN a non pregnant woman produce milk when her breasts are sucked?

  • @321atm

    No

  • 2 1/2 years but not exclusively. Working mothers have a hard time. Employers and our society make it very hard to nurse. They make you feel like you shouldn't make feeding your child inconvenient to them.

  • @fredex426 WELL, THE JOB SITE ISNT A FILLING STATION. DO THAT SHIT AT HOME!

  • There is no such thing has being allergic to breastmilk, you can be allergic to something in you mom's diet which can easily be fixed by removing it from her daily diet.

  • @verarand4 -actually there are some case, rare and uncommon, that babies are intolerant to breastmilk. Not an allergy per say, but something about the milk regardless of the mother's diet that babies dont like. I was intolerant to my mother's milk, and I was actully allergic to formula I was raised on goats milk. But all that aside I am breastfeeding my 6th month old and will continue till she weans herself. Breast truly is best.

  • @Woliger

If you have a chance, please google these websites:

    1) YouTube video "Dr Lile PBA Partial Birth Abortion"

    2) Google website: "Abortioninstruments"

    3) Priests For Life dot org

    4) Google website: "Coalition on Abortion Breast Cancer"

"Abortion Breast Cancer" website discusses link between abortion & elevated breast cancer risk & how pro-choice government tries to hide the link

"Abortion Instruments" website shows abortionist violently tearing unborn baby apart - blood all over

  • I think that breastfeeding is the best choice, seeing as it is natural and what was originally meant to be done. (Didn't see cavemen with formula now did we?) But I do find it ironic that I was allergic/couldn't stomach breastmilk when I was a baby.

  • more of the benefits in health, but also of the affection of the mother on his child. these will give a strong bond between the mother and the child itself

  • your video is the breast ever.

  • froggy those are myth... i was told the same story snf my baby can do it...

  • 723

  • my mom tried to breast feed me but i was allergic to her milk and almost died as a result, and my cousin just had a baby and produces no milk so she cannot breastfeed her baby either. so sometimes you dont have a choice. i wish to breastfeed mine but i may not be able to.

  • Well, I wasn't breastfed as a baby, and there is no problem with that. I am 22, I have a strong athletic build, and I made Valedictorian at Massachusetts University of Technology. So whoever says that breast milk is the only and best thing that will help your baby go far, you are wrong. They wouldn't make formula if they didn't think it would work. So take a moment to process this valuable information Mothers. I'm not saying breastfeeding your baby is wrong or unhelpful. Breasts are not best.

  • I breastfed my daughter until she was nearly 2 1/2 years old. I let her naturally wean herself and it was easy since she did it herself. I am due with my second child in about 2 months and I plan on letting him breastfeed as long as he wants as well. I loved nursing because it made me feel so close to my child and I'm proud that I could give my child the best :D

  • ive watched my wife breast feed our child and i can honestly say its gross i know i know its natural but still gross

  • @truckdriversarefags i am a woman and yes i think its very gross. i hate seeing it. i honestly think its perverted

  • skip talking. show boos -.-

  • Babe 1: Until 4 months exclusively, and then until 9 months until I weaned onto artificial milk substitute. I was unsupported by the people around me and suffering serious post natal depression.

Babe 2: 3 and a 1/2 years, about 9 - 10 months exclusively. She was slowly weaning, but I was still struggling with a lot of issues surrounding depression and support, and we talked together and decided to wean completely. Bittersweet, because she decided to move into her own bed at the same time. :)

  • my first was 6 weeks second 4 weeks and 3rd 4 months reason y is milk dried up

  • what a b e a utiful lady you are.. and smart.

  • 11 times fatter

  • Breastfeeding is a great benefit :) I do FAM right now but when I plan to have children later on I will do LAM which is breastfeeding your child every 4 hours and every 6 hours at night. Breastfeeding helps with bringing you back to your pre-pregnancy weight because you burn more calories and it helps with delaying ovulation if your not ready for another child.

    Great facts and video.

  • The AAP recommendation is actually "at least" a year NOT "up to" a year, as you stated. There is a big difference and breastfeeding for AT LEAST a year is the bare minimum. The World Health Organization recommends a minimum of 2 years.

  • Breastfed my first 7 months

    2nd 15 months

and currently on my 5th month with my 3rd

  • I **exclusively pumped** breast milk for my oldest son for **13** months (bc of work) !!! I am currently **exclusively nursing** my 6 week old..Our goal is one year..but possibly two. AnD i'm only 22 years old :) !!

  • that was a pretty good video

  • Women who say they can't breastfeed need to try harder and not give up what do you think people did back in the day before there was formula they had to breastfeed.

  • 175 people accidentally hit the thumbs down button.

  • I breastfed my first son untill he was three and he naturally weened himself and now i'm breastfeeding my secound son who is 5 months and will probably stop when he's two I love i t and it's what's best for them

  • wtf no boobs

  • Great video. Very informative:)

  • I breast fed the first until 7 months I stopped because I was pregnant again. The second was breat fed for 4 months because I made some mistakes. Using birth contol pills. Let people itimdate me and the third I breastfed for 3 years and 3 months. She didn't wanted to eat hardly at all. Until she was 2 and a half. People kept saying if only I fed her food first.....blah blah. I left for a week end and she still didn't eat while I was gone. The second one is my over weight one. all grownup

  • surprisingly your male hormone levels are so high you will never probably feel the joys of breastfeeding

  • yes we are thinking of breastfeeding looking at you.

  • 1.5 mill views, 1.5 mil perverts lol

  • @Canyouseemesucker That makes you a pervert too. EERGGGHH and me :(

  • Hi!. You talk about introduce solid food, after 6 months of breastfeeding, wich group of solid food you recommended for start the introduction?

  • An excellent video, very simple and yet very scientific... great job!!

  • i watched for tits thumbs up if you did too haha

  • my whole family has a hard time breastfeeding, we can produce the milk but it just wont come out therefore many of us have had to go on formula is there a way to get the nipple to lactate better?

  • @superkitty900 For the baby to get the milk out, they need to have a good latch. This is the most important part to the baby getting the milk, but also for the breast to make more milk. If the milk isn't removed, the body won't make more and it will start to dry up. For the baby to latch well, the first two weeks is the most important. No bottles or pacifiers should be given, and no formula or other supplements. If a baby is used to a fake nipple, they might not latch well on to the breast

  • @sarahnovas oooh thank you very much, they make it look so easy lol

  • I agree with %100 of what you said. Breastfeeding is natural and the only way you should feed your baby for at least 8 months. Woman who are able to breast feed but won't are so selfish! How could you do that to your baby? I wish I could have breast fed my baby, but I can't cause I'm a guy.

  • @brandonlkoenig dudes can produce milk too. I know it is sick and wrong in most cases, but in the case of a Sri Lankin man whose wife died, I think it was awesome! The baby could not drink formula and would have died had the man not fed it.

  • Breastfeed my son for 6 weeks because I went back to work and was my first time out and didn't really get the hang of it. With my daughter I am still breastfeeding her and she is 14 months. I am also not working so that does play a factor in me still breastfeeding. She doesn't really eat table food at all.

  • I was breastfed until I was 6 months old, but my brother wasn't. Breast milk constipated him, so he was fed soy formula. He had a lot of ear infections as a little kid. And he has more allergies than I do.
