Are you planning on keeping this guy in the reef..?! These guys EAT reef inhabitants. Shrimp = gone, food. Snails, hermits = food. Will also pick as corals.

@noahdavinci Tell me about it. They assume they will only keep these guys in the store a short time before they are sold. No point in dedicating a brackish tank to them if they can do fine in fresh.
@lexdiamond20 Well the fish store has a brackish tank and they have all kinds of brackish fish in that tank but the shipped to many out so they put them in full salt and brackish.

You can feed them regular fish food but make sure you supplement with something a little harder such as dried krill. They need this to keep their teeth sharp.
Krill won't be hard enough to keep the teeth down. You will need to feed him crabs, small clams, or trim his teeth from time-to-time. I have a video on my channel of trimming the teeth.

that suck that the salintity was'nt up to normal saltwater
my fish store keeps them in salt water and brackish
