You people should all stick to acting or whatever your day job is (which I am sure produces tons of carbon etc) The effects we are seeing to the environment now are caused by pre 1980 'emissions', as we are about 30 years behind what 'nature' has install for us all, even if we reduced emissions by 100% TOMORROW it will not do a bloody thing to save 'us'

My best advice is don't have any children ... not to 'save the planet' just to reduce that child's suffering, every child born today is

I've got a question if we do this 40% reduction idea how will we avoid plunging our country into poverty? and where wil you find new jobs for 100,000's of kiwi who WILL lose their jobs as a result of this idea? havent thought that far ahead yet huh? (i do support a reduction but 40% is too much)

Climate change is a bloody big business opportunity. Clean energy, energy efficient, better ways of getting around, and home insulation are part of many countries recession responses and job creation prograames. Why should we miss out on the new clean energy economy? The Stone Age didnt end for want of stones; likewise climate change gives us the impetus to transition to a new better way of powering our economy without costing the Earth.

I can only say that Lucy is really creative and intelligent, we have no "Planet B". Actually it has lightness.

The campaign is very important, save the planet includes save us. Having a vision anthropocentric or ecocentric not lead us to nowhere. "We will take good care of our home" and the diversity of life and species of "our mother earth." Combine all the environmental organizations and the people in favor of an environment and a better world to live.

Everyone thinks they're saving the Planet. Most of these people travel internationally a lot. My guess is they're not planting 18 trees each time they use 40,000 litres of AV gas to audition for a movie in LA
