So your parents destroyed your religious future by allowing you to be exposed to dinosaurs at a young age? Very interesting. We should expose all children to dinosaurs then. Wait a second. We already do. Dammit! Why isn't it working?
Check it. People think they can hide their motives from God. God knows why you dont believe and he has already told you that he knows. You suppress the truth by your wickedness, professing to be wise you became fools. And now God has given you your wish in that he has sent the delusion to unbelievers. Satan has blinded your minds with your own arrogance. But you know why you dont believe. Because you dont WANT to believe. You like playing God until it lands you in hell.
All of these ignorant assholes who leave you rude comments are probably the ones suffering the most with the irrational fear of eternal damnation and being a good christian, haha. I'm sure half of them are not educated on the bible and talked out of fear..which means NONE of them are educated on evolution. Oh well, they're loss. It's not like nice people like you didn't put your video on internet you help them out and they still couldn't think outside of the box.
Want to know why we don't talk about islams? Cause Islams never try to preach to us. + we live in a culture of christianity, how is mocking against your own culture cowardly? What point do you prove of disproving islam if you don't know any islams and islam isn't even around you.
No, it's not because we're cowards. It's because Christianity is the oppressive majority. Islam, at least in most western countries, is part of the oppressed minority, so we don't feel the need to rail against it.
I think the reason most atheists focus on Christianity is obvious, most atheists are ex-christians so therefore are most familiar with it, where as Islam has doctrine in murdering those who are apostates or Kafirs(unbelievers) christianity has no such dogma besides condemning unbelievers to hell, or at worst sending death threats.
Personally I think is Islam is a much more dangerous and bizarre than christianity, but militarily and technologically Islam is a non threat.
@jsmith19091 - You're generalizing. What about Pat Condell, for example? And me? I hate Islam just as much as Christianity, and I tell people so. The Muslims I have come across do try to be more intellectual than Christians and I respect that, but so what? They're still dead wrong. Christianity is right in my backyard, right in my face much more than Islam, so it tends to be the focus, but don't worry. They're never far behind when I get going :)
@jsmith19091 Mohammed was a child raping homosexual illiterate murdering thieving scumbag. Islam sucks. People who believe in Islam suck. Osama Bin Laden sucks (may he burn in hell) but unfortunately, there is no hell, that's just made up bullshit. Anyway, Islam blows big hairy syphillitic genital wart encrusted donkey balls. How's that?
This video is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your story. The way you tell it makes sense. I like the music a lot, too - it's rather whimsical, so it fits.
Hell is not inexistent. It very much exists. It wasn't created for us, it was created for satan and his fallen angels. Don't condemn yourself by rejecting Jesus. You have before you life and death.
"you have free will, you can choose anything. But if you dont choose jesus, you will burn in hell. Just saying. Your choice. Just know which one is the right choice"..
"You have a choice. Love Jesus or not. If you do love him, you'll experience infinite bliss. If you don't love him, you'll experience infinite pain. No pressure, though."
Revelations says that the lake of fire is the second death. this refers to the eternal death, when sinners will receive their final punishment; cf Rev 2:11, Rev 20:6, 14-15; 21:8.

atheists are too void. They don't see the #1 thing needed in being a christian. Evolution is a lie, just as Plate Tectonics are. This sort of thing is most common these days, as the world is coming to an end. I pray for all of you, and I hope you realize the most important thing. FAITH. God doesn't show himself to us, as he lets us choose with free will.
omg i cant believe how much your story mirrors my "conversion" 2 atheism! when i first began looking critically at christianity i WANTED it to be true because i naively found the concept so reassuring.
Interesting story. Sounds like you went through a lot more wrestling with religion than I did.
I can't recall a time, even as a little kid, when I believed in a god. When we went to Saturday school (Jewish, different sabbath), I was mainly bored, and thought, "Yeah, very nice, but what does this have to do with reality?"
One time at Thanksgiving, my brother asked if maybe we should say a prayer or something. I didn't comment, but my thought was, "Why should we?"
Has anyone seen a video on here about why atheists are happier than christians? I watched probably about 6-8 wks back and now I can't find it. It may have been deleted, anyone know what Im talking about?
I'm glad to see more people finally tearing off the yoke of religion, it's a horrible distraction from what really makes us moral and worth while beings.
When I was young I wanted that feeling the "saved" had but every time I went to Church I found that during services I felt nothing. When I got a lot older I realized that feeling the "saved" had was just religious zeal.
Diagoras "the Atheist" of Melos, Greek poet, (5th cent. BCE).
Threw a wooden image of a god into a fire, remarking that the deity should perform another miracle and save itself. The uproar this caused in Athens prompted Diagoras to flee for his life. "Athens outlawed him and offered a reward for his capture dead or alive. He lived out his life in Spartan territory."
This is a very emotion driven conversion story. You thought it was boring, etc. but did you look into the facts/philosophy/physics of religion? Evolution is not excluded for Catholic for instance. You used the Hobbit as a reference, the reason the Bible/Hobbit relate, is because Tolkien was a Catholic. Don't call the Bible like the Hobbit, the Hobbit is like the Bible. It was the inspiration for Tolkien's fantasy.
The Hobbit was merely used to illustrate how ridiculous it seemed to me. I could just as easily have used "the Time Machine" or the Disney movie "Hercules." And frankly, I don't see as much similarity other than that between the Hobbit and the Bible... More like Narnia and the Bible... now THERE'S a blatant similarity. And to me, both are logical impossibilities.
And yes, I did look into the philosophy and facts of religion. A lot. I just didn't say that in the video. Believe me, it was a tough thing to let go of the idea of a god. I clung to it for YEARS, seeking out stories of angels or miracles... but then I realized that humans are flawed when it comes to experience and memory... you can't trust someone else's "experience"... you can barely trust your own.
No, to be honest, I did not. I didn't know what they were, so I Googled up "unmoved mover." It's a decent theory, considering it's 2000 years old and has limited knowledge of modern science. However, I instantly ran into the question "who moved the mover to move everything else?" Of course, you will say "He didn't need to be moved. He's God!"
It's an echo of the whole "who made God?" question, which I find only breeds frustration on both sides since Christians and atheists seem to operate in different lines of reasoning when it comes to that topic. However, I will say this... even if this theory did prove *A* god, it certainly doesn't prove *YOUR* god in particular.
Think about it: Aristotle came up with it... and he was a Greek pagan, not a Christian. All the theory would prove is the existence of some unnamed mover... who is perhaps not even still in existence or conscious of humanity, but merely has the property of having "moved" things. Frankly, it doesn't seem all that solid to me, so all I can do is wait for more evidence of its viability to crop up. As to your "infinite conditions" reference, you'll need to be more specific.
Tolkien was inspired by many different mythologies. one of them happened to be Catholicism. But most of the creatures in Tolkien seem to be from Norse and Celtic mythology. He even tried to combine monotheism with polytheism by the use of Illuvitar and the Valar.
But more to the point is teh similarities between jido-Christian mythology and all other mythologies. Simply put, your religion is not unique.
I never did believe the garden of eden story either, or the flood story. Ahh..pray and wait it out. Or they were hoping may be you would forget about what you were feeling they hoped. LOL Great vid, thanks for sharing.
woo hoo! You Tube makes people atheists! Have you ever noticed that many atheists will attack Christianity, but very few will ever attack Islam.
Actually, most atheists are afraid of Islam. Why is that?
Why do they attack Christianity with ease, but will not say one word against Islam?
It is because they are cowards.
