Hard choice to make out of so many good albums, but Wide Awake in Dreamland is my favourite. I find it hard to believe that they played at some roadhouse in Cambridge. Of course I was too young to go to her stadium shows when she was the "it" girl, but that smaller venue was better for me

Let's start a movement to get Pat into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I find it hard to believe that this incredible singer, with her mulit-platinum, mult-Grammy winning career, also nominated for Best Female Rock Performance 8 out of 10 times in the 80s, winner of 3 American Music Awards, etc., etc., has been snubbed by the Hall of Fame once again. Last month, the 2011 nominees were announced - no Pat, but Bon Jovi, LL Cool J, and Donna Summer were among the nominees. What a joke!

@robertd772 I went to a Pat Benatar concert about 5 yrs ago or so... She was one of my childhood idles, I LOVE HER!! However, at her concert she brought her daughter's band "GLO", they sucked!!! Pat only sang for about a third of the show. The rest she gave to her daughter's band. Then to make a bad situation worse, she started bithching and complaining that she has been singing the same songs for 25+ years and she was sick of this and that. We paid good money to hear her sing!! lost respect!!!

@robertd772 Please let me know what I can do? I'll join and help, Pat Benatar put on one of my favorite concerts of all-time back in July 2001 here in Atlanta at the Tabernacle. She also has helped me through a couple of rough times via her music, as far as her messages that seem to be mainly about not letting anything get you down. (I've also had a huge crush on her from when she first started to become popular back in 1979, when I was in high school.)

@robertd772 Doesn't help that Paul Schafer is on the board; as he was cut from playing on her first album "In The Heat Of The Night"; the sound just wasn't right in the studio; Pat said they were trying to get her to be pop but she was rock and new producer got her Neil and the others fell in line; the rest was history.

Wish! she'd come to one of the Casinos here in St. Louis... I've seen her two times at a concert club and at our local concert venue. But seeing her in an intimate setting like a casinos club. Would be the ultimate way to see Pat and Neil play. I'd be first in line for tickets! Wish I could find a way to make it happen!

They have been compaired way too much and when I comes to a debate of the "Best female singers in Rock" most of the time it's Benatar and Wilson. I think there's too much competetion there?

Let's start a movement to get Pat into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I find it hard to believe that this incredible singer, with her mulit-platinum, mult-Grammy winning career, also nominated for Best Female Rock Performance 8 out of 10 times in the 80s, winner of 3 American Music Awards, etc., etc., has been snubbed by the Hall of Fame once again. Last month, the 2011 nominees were announced - no Pat, but Bon Jovi, LL Cool J, and Donna Summer were among the nominees. What a joke!

@robertd772 I went to a Pat Benatar concert about 5 yrs ago or so... She was one of my childhood idles, I LOVE HER!! However, at her concert she brought her daughter's band "GLO", they sucked!!! Pat only sang for about a third of the show. The rest she gave to her daughter's band. Then to make a bad situation worse, she started bithching and complaining that she has been singing the same songs for 25+ years and she was sick of this and that. We paid good money to hear her sing!! lost respect!!!

@robertd772 Please let me know what I can do? I'll join and help, Pat Benatar put on one of my favorite concerts of all-time back in July 2001 here in Atlanta at the Tabernacle. She also has helped me through a couple of rough times via her music, as far as her messages that seem to be mainly about not letting anything get you down. (I've also had a huge crush on her from when she first started to become popular back in 1979, when I was in high school.)

@robertd772 Doesn't help that Paul Schafer is on the board; as he was cut from playing on her first album "In The Heat Of The Night"; the sound just wasn't right in the studio; Pat said they were trying to get her to be pop but she was rock and new producer got her Neil and the others fell in line; the rest was history.
