Beautiful video. So very tragic about John Lennon. Profound lyrics from U2. Although Miracle Drug is about a mothers love and a medical breakthrough for a paraplegic that became a poetic scholar, for me the song offered hope that one day there could be a cure for alcohol/drug addiction, as it is destroying someone very dear to me.

That his thoughts might be applied to the world whenever...including the early years of the 21st Century and the situation we have with warring religions for one.

I thought the U2 song covered a lot of the bases for what I was trying to do in this video (made almost 5 years ago). Especially a "wondering" of what might be if there was a MIracle Drug. I just identified it as Lennon mantra "Imagine". Far from a perfect fit, but a lot of people really liked it.

truly an inspirational guy. id imagine if hed been born 2500 years ago he would have been a prophet in the bible. If elvis was the king then john was the consience of rock and roll. Before the beatles things where black and white and after all was in colour.What the beatles did and pioneered is still the formula of all bands today. I really think 1000 years from now its the beatles and john lennon who,ll be remembered out of everyone else because they where about so much more than music.

To me, being the ultimate "fan" of JOhn Lennon, this video represents so much more than just a tribute to the iconoclast. It's that Bono, himself, has again written a song dedicated to this man who never forgot his Irish Descent, and that John, just as the Irish did, suffered so much from so many who were not with heart and love, and that's why people like John and the Irish were persecuted so. Bono, great work. I thank you for your love for this Legend and Genius we called John Lennon.
