walking into the front pit at Bonnaroo 2009 for Phish's Sunday night sets - 6/14/2009

Oh, that's something different from what I'm used to at festies. How's the view from the line to get in? How's the sound? Sorry for all of the questions!

@Melodicnoisepop view wasn't all that great from the pit entrance area (it's off to the side). google "entrance to the front pit area for Phish" and you'll see one of my pics on flickr. In 2009, it was a tad too bassy. the pit is split into two halves, each w/ its own entrance. they took the idea from european festivals. i think it worked out well.

@Melodicnoisepop they clear the pit out after each act and refill it with fresh bodies before each act. that way, people are able to keep a spot by the front of the stage all day.
